I read this for a challenge, hoping for an office setting but the majority of the book is on a business trip. And ended with a cliff I did not like.

I wanted this to be so much better, but it's kinda boring. Even the cliffhanger is boring.

Helen is an unsophisticated single mom and is temping at a bank and is forced to work with Oliver who needs to put together a deal for his ailing uncle. Told in dual POVs, we learn that they both begin to have feelings for each other (after a whole week), but he's got a hard and fast rule about not sleeping with employees and she doesn't want her heart broken because her soon to be ex husband is a loser.

Spoiler alert: These these people are completely stupid... or perhaps it's just a bad cliffy, but the big deal is that he's making her choose between being his employee or being his lover. Good lord. What a ridiculous choice that shouldn't even be a cliffhanger.

I have to say the story in this book is amazing and a great start in this series and i can't wait to read the other two books.

This is amazing, sweet, romantic and cute story. Once i started reading this book i could not stop or put the book down because it made me smile and i fell in-love with the story and the characters through out this book.

Helen and Oliver are my favourite in this book because there relationship and the story line between these two were amazing. They are so perfect and made for each other

The author Harmony Raines  did amazing job writing this book and writing the story lines through this book for each character. I wish these books were in paperback because i would love to have them on paperback.

Helen and Oliver

Starting over is hard enough for Helen. Her husband left her with absolutely nothing and now she's desperate to provide for her daughters. She takes on a temp job and finds herself curiously attracted to her new boss.
Cliffhanger! Need to find out what happens next.

Helen needed a job and her future sister in law was getting her a job at the bank. Helen's life was about to change completely. Her temporary boss was hot. But now they had to go see his uncle. He broke his main rule and now she has to choose. What will Helen do?

One thing that an author needs to realise is that if they are writing a three book novel, then their first and second book needs to be great in order to make their reader want to pay for the rest. This story was fair to middling and was full of spelling errors, so, no, I won’t be buying the next two, even at 99c each.

Yummy

Work that temp job, resist that hotter than anything temp boss. Geez, let's put more restrictions on a very strong attraction. Great storyline, very interesting characters and now a very strong desire to read book two.

Finally The HEA

Helen and Oliver finally get their own happily ever after. Lovable characters just added to enhancement of this romantic story. Although the first and second books end on cliffhangers, it was needed for the third book to find the end.

Somewhat dull

There wasn’t much excitement, just seemed very slow paced and dull. Chapters upon chapters where absolutely nothing happens, just blah

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This modern Cinderella-meets-office-romance is heartfelt and emotionally satisfying. Helen’s balancing act as a single mom working under a no-fraternization billionaire boss hits all the sweet spots for fans of slow-burn tension. Oliver’s “no dating employees” rule adds delicious conflict, especially once they're swept off to Monaco. With cliffhangers and series continuation, it’s perfect if you like drama, glamour, and that one moment where everything changes.

This author has a wonderful writing style.

This is book 2. First one reeled me in , this one did not disappoint. Loved the abandoned housewife reentering the work force, finding love again , only to have the husband show up. I can't wait to see if true love wins out over a returning husband. On to book 3.

Return of a weak man and lost of a great one.

I hated the ending of this series. I wanted kick her husband's ass and throw him out. I guess that her husband is blackmailing her and is back for more money.

Light, fluffy, and short. Felt like something I would watch on Lifetime...or Hallmark. I got this book because of the BBW aspect of it. A few lines of "curves" and "thighs" does not make it BBW.
