Amber Cassidy is a queen at writing suspense. This book had twists and turns that kept me on my toes. I am very excited for this series and I cannot wait to continue it.

This book has everything I love in a good romantic suspense: a grumpy, protective hero who will stop at nothing to protect the people he loves, a badass heroine, action, passion, danger… and so much more!

And then there’s her mysterious neighbor, a grumpy man hiding secrets of his own. When a masked stranger starts appearing in the shadows of their notorious mansion, she realizes that the cruelty surrounding her goes far deeper than she ever imagined.
I was so excited to dive into this book, and it ended up being even better than I expected! I loved watching these two navigate all the danger and secrets surrounding them, and the chemistry between them was everything. Jack protective side? Absolutely loved it.
There were also a few twists I definitely didn’t see coming, and I loved how they brought something fresh and unexpected to the story while keeping me completely hooked.
Needless to say, I’m already more than ready for the next book! Give me more of this world, these characters, and all the suspense!

There's no suspense or plot, because those are ALL revealed to us 22% into the story. We even know what the evil inlaws do. The ONLY thing left is to wait for the expected action. Wait for Linden to learn who and what he is, and wait for Jack's cold heart to melt from her love. All very predictable. I dislike time jumps to tell a story. I don't care what she and her ex did 4 years ago. I also don't like baby talk.

I’m obsessed with this book. It’s a 6 star read in my opinion. Jack basically stalking them? The suspense? The deep dark things that are happening to Linden? I’m o b s e s s e d. I’m actually upset with myself for finishing it so quickly because I’m already dying for the next book.
Jack is PERFECT. His protective nature is what dreams are made of! I love how he is insta obsessed with Linden and will do anything to keep her and her daughter safe.
This book gets twisted!! Amber really came ready for dark romance and I cannot wait to see what she does next for this series!

Они не слишком эмоционально нагруженные и супер глубокие, но хорошие!
В данной книге прекрасные главные герои: начиная от МГГ, который был готов сделать все, что угодно ради своих девочек, всегда следил и оберегал-спасах их, заканчивая ЖГГ, которая была готова на всё ради своей дочки.
Отдельный плюс главной героине - Линдер - за то, что не устроила скандал, после того, как узнала тайну-секрет главного героя. Она была супер понимающей.
Ее дочка - просто чудо в этой истории.

This book took me less than a day to read! I physically could not put this book down, I highly recommend. So gripping and intense in the best week. At times had me holding my breath to see what happened next.
Jack and Lindens story was absolutely incredible, don’t even get me started on little Avery!

Amazing!
I loved Jack so much! Him stepping up for Linden and Avery made me swoon. Romantic suspense is my favorite and this hit the spot! I cannot wait for the rest of the ghosts to get their story!

Solid Read
This has been a fun read. It's my first time reading a dark ex-military. The MMC & MFC has excellent chemistry. I would recommend this to others to read. I also hope to see more ghost standalone books in the future.

As I’m writing this review, I realized I completely forgot what this book was about for a minute. 😂
It was fine. I didn’t hate it, but I also didn’t love it. Clearly, it just didn’t leave much of an impression because I finished it and immediately forgot what happened.
Just an okay read, but definitely not one that’s going to stick with me.
