After nearly being declared academically ineligible to play for the university basketball team, star point guard Alex managed to do enough to convince his professors not to fail him. But the allure of college life is too much for Alex to avoid. He ignores his studies in favor of partying with his friends and focusing on his social life. It all catches up with him quickly.
Professor Sanders, one of Alex's instructors, tells the basketball star that he may have no choice but to fail him. Desperate to maintain his eligibility, Alex once again finds himself searching for a way to save his grades. Professor Sanders presents him with another opportunity but warns Alex that it will be harder than anything he's ever done.
Alex accepts his professor's offer because he has nowhere else to turn to. He soon discovers just how hard his professor is going to push him. Professor Sanders wants to teach the star point guard a lesson that will stick with him. Determined to raise his grades, Alex pushes himself beyond his limits and awakens new desires he never knew he had.
