I desperately wanted to finish this book, but I can't.

I wasn't going to give it three stars, but because I thought the material was interesting, I gave it an extra star.

I was terribly disappointed in this book because I've been dying to read it. I mean, Viking mythology? How awesome! Well, it could have been awesome.

But it desperately needs an editor. Many of the sentences made no sense at all, as if they were written and then never glanced at again. I wouldn't recommend this unless someone seriously edits the hell out of it. :/

This is a good book for learning about the basics of viking and norse mythology. I recognized some of the information from when I recently read the sword of summer. There are however a few grammatical and spelling errors.

While the book may have knowledge to impart, I can't get past the need for an editor. Grammatical errors abound in the opening pages.

This book is only 65 pages with a section on Greek mythology thrown in that takes it to 87 pages. They were among the hardest 87 pages I have ever read. I want to be fair towards the author because you can tell he tried, but he should have had it proofread before he published. There was a lot of missing punctuation, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors. I am no expert, but they stood out and I don't know how it was a second edition with none of these being noticed.
