This was intriguing. As ever McAvoy is almost a cipher in his 'own' stories. The agent of discovery. In this short issues are resolved, notably concerning Nock. Also McAvoy's would be nemesis Roper returns to the action, properly(for the first time)
Archer is stretching credulity, that she could be head of the Drug Squad & in London with Roper too.
It can't end well!
Also, there was no where near enough of Trish.

Short, but very good Aector McAvoy story. Lots of seemingly unrelated things going on at the start, but the author brings it all together brilliantly as the story progresses.

As or usual at the beginning it seems all over the place. Ties up loose ends can’t wait for the next one. I so want Doug Roper to get his comuppence! He is fast becoming my most hated baddie!

A short story continuing the Headhunters saga of the Aector McAvoy series. As with the previous novels, tight story line with some brutality thrown in here and there for color. Some nasty heavies in this series. A must read if your into the series.

A great combination of the contamination and brute force of mcAvoy's arch enemy the head hunters.
