About the author

Jan Spiller is a faculty member of the American Federation of Astrologers and the author of three bestselling astrology texts: Spiritual Astrology, New Moon Astrology, and Astrology for the Soul, as well as a new book, Cosmic Love. Well-known in the astrology world, Jan has has hosted her own local television and radio shows: Ecliptic; The Good Life; and the nationally syndicated, daily radio show: Astrology Education Now. Currently, Jan writes a monthly column in Dell Horoscope Magazine (the largest astrological publication in the world), and runs her web site www.janspiller.com which logs about 270,000 hits a day. Jan recently completed the first season of The Jan Spiller Show - a live, call-in advice broadcast in which she responds to listeners' questions about astrology and reads their charts to empower them with objective knowledge to help them guide their lives. Karen McCoy is a third generation astrologer who has dedicated over thirty-five years to teaching and assisting people to integrate the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of themselves. Jan Spiller discusses astrology in a way that makes it very understandable without insulting people's intelligence. She takes a very spiritual and psychoanalytical approach that I find to be incredibly helpful for my own personal growth. Cosmic Love focuses on our most intimate relationships - romantic, platonic, familial - and helps us understand why we interact the way we do, and how we can do better when it's warranted.

Priceless information given in this book.

A fantastic tool we have to understand our psyches and drives better is found through the art and discipline of astrology. This book is great, especially if you're one of those introspective people who love to learn more about yourself. The author, Jan Spiller, is an amazing astrologer who uses a particular aspect of a persons chart (north node) to help you better understands how a one reacts in relationships (all relationships, but more specifically partnerships in love).

I was blown away by how accurate this book was. The author includes personality traits, fears, past life impacts, redeeming qualities and positive aspects of a particular sign. How you affect others, how others affect you, inspirations and affirmations especially for your sign. I also really enjoyed reading about other people (i.e. my partner) so that I could better understand and have compassion towards my partner’s personal path, which enabled me not to take him ... or me too seriously.

This booked also helped me to have a broader view of my self, my actions and bring into my awareness aspects of my personality that I previously over looked. It has been empowering to read this book. Jan Spiller is an author of a bunch of astrology books. All of which are incredibly accurate.

This book was full of insights, and really made me think on North Nodes as an important astrological concept. The pace is so much faster and more succinct than Astrology of the Soul, and subheadings lead into each other quite naturally. There is just enough repetition in each of the chapters for messages to drive home, without becoming tired. I was particularly happy to see discussion of houses and aspects, although some of these were elaborated more than they really needed to be. The book is useful for individuals in and of itself because it speaks about relationships and boundaries quite generally, however it's also really useful for specific relationship advice, particularly the closing chapters. The ending discussions of other people's North Nodes falling in your personal houses was to me astounding. Also the quote from her nephew at the end was so sweet!
