“This woman has the personality of a cardigan.”

How dare you!?! That’s my Ally you’re talking about! And yet, here I am, again falling in love with a diabolically flawed character. I thought peanut butter with eggs was bad, and then Margaux has introduced me to an emotional support taxidermy owl. I AM DECEASED!

Then the taxidermy date that Tilly and Corporate Daddy Ollie went on? I was not well. How did Oliver not run for his life? Oliver - I’M RIGHT HERE!

This story had me cackling with Margaux’s signature wit and humour, and then despondent at other times with the heavy themes, emotional depth and growth that keeps me coming back to her stories (I might be addicted?).

I loved how much Ally and Jax featured in this story, with Jax’s protective psychopathic side on full blast. The sibling relationship between Jax and Ollie was so nuanced and captivating. The dead parents storyline, with the swan? Don’t mind me sitting over here giggling.

Thanks for ruining owls for me Margaux, and therapists…… 🌻

Tilly is sunshine, wit, confidence… and a psych with a very interesting side to her. ☀️🖤 Oliver Beckett is instantly intrigued when they meet at a work conference, and after a few unexpected run ins, he simply can’t get her out of his head.

What starts as attraction quickly turns into something neither of them quite knows how to handle. Because Tilly isn’t exactly your typical FMC, and Oliver is about to discover that there’s a LOT more to her than meets the eye. 👀

This book had me laughing, questioning everything, and wondering just how chaotic things could possibly get. The chemistry between Tilly and Oliver is 🔥, their relationship is completely unconventional, and the twists had me constantly wondering what was coming next.

And then there’s Jax… 😏 If you’ve read the previous books, you already know he brings his own brand of chaos, but watching him interact with Tilly was absolutely fascinating. These characters are definitely not your typical romance leads, and I was here for it!

Firstly thank you to the wonderful Margaux for the opportunity to read her book Twisted which is the fourth book in the Damaged Hearts series. I loved this one so so much.it was such a rollercoaster but I'm here for it all.

Twisted follows Oliver and Tilly. What happens when corporate daddy meets A psychology menace. This is one story you’re going to wanna buy to find out.

These two have electric chemistry, fantastic banter, wonderful found family vibe, A taxidermy date that will have you guessing. Rollercoaster of emotion, slow burn but when the spice drops be warned 🥵

On paper, Oliver and Tilly should be the ‘picture perfect’ couple. There were warning signs though… taxidermy as a date? That should’ve raised some questions for one of these characters. But no, apparently we willingly ignore flags and sign up for a roller coaster of emotional whiplash.

Oliver and Tilly’s love story is complex, building trust, breaking down walls and untangling longstanding beliefs. They are complex characters finding out that sometimes the most simple things are the most important.

Side note: I know this book is about Oliver and Tilly but I was so excited that Jax and Ally featured so much in this story! My OG favourite couple in this series.

Twisted had me in a chokehold fighting a range of emotions throughout.

Margaux Paris always has me completely engrossed with the way she writes her romances - raw, heavy, and often painful, yet beautifully executed. No matter how emotionally devastating the journey is, there's always a silver lining that makes every moment worthwhile.

Main Characters that you willing love or love to hate. With a side of heartwarming redemption and meaningful growth.

Margauxs writing has this way of sucking you in right off the bat. The wit and humour mixed with the emotional depth and heavy energy. Shows growth and the most heartwarming redemption.

This series is dark and twisty and funny and like nothing I’ve read before.

Margaux has done it again!!
There is not one book of hers that doesn’t have me laughing and kicking my feet!
This story had me both grossed out and intrigued at the same time with Tilly’s hobby and it instantly made me have an ‘omg I know what’s going to come moment’.
Corporate Daddy Ollie is not only charming and handsome but also an absolute sweet heart of a human!
This story had me highlighting quotes left right and centre because the banter was just perfect!
If you want an easy to read, Aussie banter book that will have you laughing and swooning then dive right in!
Just keep an eye out for the sunshine in human form, she may have a hidden secret!

So this wasn’t my favorite book in the damaged heart series however, it did have some plot twists I did not see coming. For 3/4 of this book I absolutely fucking hated the FMC Tilly, however loved her by the end of it. You really have to read this book to understand and when the whole crew gets together, it’s just fucking chaotic, and there’s a lot of laughs. It’s well written as always. I highly recommend the read.

I was lucky enough to score an arc to this beauty, thankyou to the author.. Yet again Margaux did not disappoint.
This story follows Tilly and Oliver (Jax’s brother) As always there are twists and turns you don’t see coming. The banter is top level and I ate it up. Tilly may be one of my favourite fmc’s that Margaux has written. A mix of mysterious, relatable and witty.
Margaux is yet to write a book I haven’t loved! Honestly can damaged hearts keep going on forever? 🤞🏻😏

I can't say enough good things about the Damaged Hearts series; every book has hooked me from the start, and Twisted is no different. I loved every minute of "TWISTED" and read it in under 24 hours. The characters, the banter, are top-tier, and it is just so well written, Margaux has very quickly become one of my fave authors.

Once again the Damaged Hearts saga has twisted its way into my heart. Margaux has found yet another way to make you question your sanity when it comes to loving flawed characters. If you loved Jax then you will certainly fall for his brother. Enjoy the ride!
