Wow, still reeling.
This is a fantastic book and I loved it! Mandy is a woman who survived trafficking and has made a new life for herself. She has made it her mission to hunt down men who continue to profit from the abuse she endured and continue to abuse others. Hendricks made a life outside a system which became corrupted, and he no longer trusted. Now he is a fixer, the man rich men call to contain, or eliminate a problem. What neither of them could have predicted was that a very wealthy man, with deep ties in trafficking, would hire Hendrix to hunt Mandy, nor that they would end up living and working together to see the man who hired Hendrix exposed as the predator he is.
To say that Mandy reinvented herself after being nothing but property for several years is putting it simply. She became a hunter of men who are certain in their belief that owning their victims is perfectly acceptable. Her internal dialogue at the beginning of this book, actually from beginning to end, made me laugh out oud and left me gasping for breath. Hendrix is also a hunter, but he chooses who he hunts, and he will agree to the terms of the contract to hunt Mandy down, but he has completely different goal of how this particular contract ends. Exciting action, bloody violence, enough twists and turns in the plot to make me dizzy, and a happy ending for the FMC and MMC. I couldn't put this book down and recommend it to other readers.

I didn’t think this could get any better but than Hendricks leapt onto the pages and now I have a new favorite. I guess I do like my heroes a little unhinged and my heroines bad@$s survivors. This book had all the emotion mixed with more secrets, unhinged banter and more vigilante sh!t. It was just what I was looking for.
Hendricks may seem controlled and robotic on the outside but that man is anything but when Mandy is in his orbit. Mandy has gone through more than any woman should and has come out a survivor on the other side. I love that Hendricks is the man to help her heal more and find happiness. Their chemistry is explosive and the spice is spicing.
I love how Dakota writes her stories. It may not be conventional with chapters that are simple one sentence or two but you know what it always works for the story. I love getting into the heads of both characters and that’s what Dakota does. She puts on paper what these characters are thinking. We get into their head and get the answers to the questions we seek. I’m always giddy when I get what I want.
I swear when you think you know what is going to happen next Dakota pivots giving us another twist to the story and evil lurking. And I love it. I’m excited this series is ending yet and we get more.

Mandy Reed has been hunting down the men who wronged her ever since she escaped them over a decade ago. She’s able to evade everyone until one of them hires the man she can’t seem to forget about - Hendricks. He’s incredibly intelligent and always seems to find his mark. Plus he hasn’t been able to forget about her either. These two crossed paths in the previous book, and goodness are they a perfect duo! Mandy is, in my opinion, even more capable and badass than Hendricks. I loved seeing these two push each other and get under each other’s skin! This was a great continuation of the Iron Ridge series, and I’m glad we’re getting more of other favorite characters outside of the Blackthorn guys. You definitely need to read these in order or the overarching plot may not make sense. But they’re all fantastic so it’s worth it!!

I don't know how Dakota James makes me fall for each and every cowboy in this series. But here I am telling how I love Hendricks. But I think I like him for a different reason. He's the kind of man who is willing to give up his control to let Mandy have it. Because he sees her, understands her. And I think that makes him a 10/10 And Mandy, well with her sweet tooth, and bratty mouth I love her for it! She's a survivor and takes matters into her own hands. And I love a smart strong FMC. Now I say this with every book. I don't know how much hotter Dakota can make these men. I though Luke in book 4 was setting the bar high. Then here comes Hendricks and says "hold my hat"

I have been dying to get my hands on Hendricks since he was first mentioned in this series. The mystery the allure of him he is that unpredictable mysterious sexy man romantic suspense books should have.
The battle of control between him and Mandy made this book all the better. I ripped through this so fast I couldn't put it down and the next thing I new it was over.
I love how Dakota throws in different POV's from other characters in the book. It adds to the story and I don't think they'd be as good without them. I'm sad the next book is the last in the series, but Gabriel Reyes is another man I can't wait to devour :)

Mandy needs help from Hendricks and neither has stopped thinking about the other since they last met. They work together to continue to take down a crime ring while also bringing in a few others to help. In the process, they can’t resist their draw to each other and Hendricks is wonderful in how he gives her all the control and power after what she’s been through. Their chemistry is hot! The continued twists in the story keep you flipping pages and hoping that their romance is not just a quick fling but can turn into so much more!

The plot delivers on suspense, action and tension. It kept me guessing at every turn. The quick chapter changes make it fast paced and I couldn't put it down. All that plus emotional depth and fantastic character development. Definitely add this to your TBR!

This author knowns how to weaves magic into every chapter. This series is fantastic and with that ending I can’t wait for more.

Hendricks and Mandy did NOT disappoint. The banter, the desire, the teasing 😏 🔥. I knew from book 3 of Iron Ridge that I would love Hendricks and Mandy but I had no idea how much. Mandy is such a badass (which we knew). And Hendricks losing it because of her. Ugh. SWOOON.

This is the fourth book in the Iron Ridge series. It’s a very entertaining, dark, cowboy romance. The plot is intense and filled with drama, action, violence, suspense and witty banter. Hendricks and Mandy are a great couple and I enjoyed their story.

OMG. So crazy good. Intense, detailed storyline full of exciting twists and turns to keep me guessing what would happen next. Characters were well written and their journey together was awesome to follow along with. Highly recommended book.

Hendricks baby 😳 This man is something else! I absolutely loved the dynamic between Mandy and him. The push and shove. The trauma and the violence that are in both their lives. The plot twist did seem a little suspected but the ending 😳

I think this one has been my favorite in the series so far! The plot was plottin'. Hendricks and Mandy were two sides of the same coin and a perfect match. She had been through a lot and he wasn't scared of her past. Love all the morally gray aspects as well. The spice... whew child... chef's kiss! Thank you Dakota for being a little unhinged. We love you for it! Cannot wait for the next one!
