What a phenomenal end to the Iron Ridge Series!
I’m absolutely OBSESSED with Gabriel. I seriously could not get enough of this book. I loved that they have formed their own little foundation family. It’s what they deserved after everything they’ve been through.
So thankful Cole has been taken care of. Good riddance.

This is talent—a gift. It’s how she breathes.
This author is fast becoming one of my favorite can’t wait for the next book authors.
Gabriel Reyes is swoon worthy. A protective bada&& out to save his enemies niece.
I turn my head and look at the shadowed profile of my dark knight. His jaw is set, his knuckles white on the steering wheel, his blue eyes fixed on the road with lethal focus.
Clara is not a shrinking violet. She’s brave and beautiful at the same time . She’s had her eye on Gabriel since she was a teen.
His smile comes slowly. "Are you flirting with me, Duchess?" I roll my eyes again. "You think attempted murder is flirting?"
This whole story had me glued to the pages. Cheering for this couple. They blew me away.
"Good, because you're mine now, Duchess. And I don't give back what's mine."
I’m am eagerly waiting for more from this fantastic author.

Dakota has quickly become one of my absolute favourite dark cowboy romance authors. This series keeps getting better with every book, as she masterfully weaves intricate plots, steamy romance, and a chilling undercurrent of danger through each story. What I especially love is how her heroines are always strong, fierce, and unapologetically bold no damsels in distress here, just boss babes with real backbone who fight for themselves and the ones they love.
This is a classic enemies-to-lovers story, with Clara and Gabe coming from families who are sworn enemies. But when danger strikes, Gabe is the only one willing to risk everything to save Clara. She’s no princess waiting for her prince; Clara is a duchess who commands every room she enters, fierce and unyielding. Gabriel and Clara's families are long time enemies. So when the people they have been hunting are a threat to Clara the only way to save her is to take her first.
Now Clara is thrown into this. She's not an innocent princess. No, she know the dark world she lives in. But she's not aware of all the darkness that has been following her. Or why. Now Gabriel has her, he will protect her, help her, keep her, claim her, and all against his families wishes. But when you know you know right?
On a personal note:
I really enjoyed seeing all characters get their happy endings. The justice they had sought out to get. I am a fan of this author. Like her style of writing and this series how it drew you in from book 1.
If you want 3 sexy cowboys, a hacker on a mission and an informer who fall for their woman hard and do anything and everything to insure their safety. This series is for you.

I devoured this book in one sitting; there was just no way I could put it down. I love the way Dakota writes a story and I am so obsessed with this series. She weaves an intricate series that each story has it’s own romance twisted through the overall arc of the evil lurking in the shadows. I also love that her heroines aren’t wilting flowers but are boss babes who stand up for themselves and have back bones.
Gabriel and Clara were an unexpected surprise and I loved their story. Clara may have seemed innocent but that woman was anything but. Her young age was just a number and the chemistry and connection she had with Gabriel was scorching. Gabriel was a force to be reckoned with.
Everything about this story is what I love from the marriage of convenience to the action and suspense. There were some unexpected twists and the most perfect happily ever after.

OH MY GOD. There are just no words. (There are truly no words without spoilers, more correctly) I was FLOORED by this book. The previews/blurbs in no way did this book justice. Completely stunned by the turn of events and backstory that I have no idea was there, but not surprised since Dakota James always delivers. If you thought Mandy and Hendricks were spicy, boy are you in for a treat with Gabriel and Clara 🔥🔥😏. While I loved all the Blackthorn boys (and women, of course), I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the Iron Ridge series. And the epilogue, ugh so sweet and heart warming. Another phenomenal continuation of this suspense story line with Gabriel and Clara’s arranged marriage. It started out as a way to keep the two families from going after each other but turned into so much more!! She’s had a long time crush on him and he notices the things that are important to her and makes sure she has them. He’s sweet, determined, and ruthless all at the same time. She’s strong, driven, and quickly falling for him. Having all the other characters be a part of the story is fantastic and I love the way this book ends! A great series that truly keeps you engaged with suspense and falling for each couple.

He’s going to learn Clara has a backbone of steel and she has wanted Gabriel for a long time.
The dinner and movie scenes was one of my favorites along with the easy banter between the two.
Turner the bastard finally is dealt with and I relished it. He should have suffered more.

A satisfying conclusion to this series. Action, suspense and raw emotion bring it all together.
Gabriel and Clara fit together in such an unexpected way. I love how passionate and grounded Clara is. Then Gabriel's dedication to providing for her in every way just melted me. The relationship is very insta lust but it works really well for this pairing. They build a beautiful connection.
Twists and turns as expected from this series but also finality. Each book in this series has had me invested and wanting more. So I was very glad to see Dakota James tease at a new series.

I have loved each of these couples! I thought I was going to be sad to see the series end, but so happy Dakota has more amazing men, women and their stories coming our way! Also thanks for giving us chapters of different characters, it is great to see the found family 💚

I've read every book in this series and I swear I think each one gets better! I loved Clara and Gabriel's banter. I loved the 1 or 2 line chapters, they were so funny. This was a great ending to a spicy series! All of the epilogues tied this series up so well. Love HEAs. Can't wait to see what happens in Redemption, Texas!

Gabriel Reyes and Clara Whitlock are EVERYTHING!! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I am in LOVE with these two!! The Iron Ridge series is fantastic, and I swear it just keeps getting better. Definitely one to read in order, but all the men are swoon-worthy and the women?? Impeccable, wonderful, and I want to be friends with every one of them. Ruthless Enforcer was a quick new favorite and I highly recommend this series if you love cowboys, danger, and women who can definitely hold their own. Gabriel is a welcome addition to the Iron Ridge family. He’s obsessed with Clara, does everything in his power to make her happy and safe, and ultimately helps bring closure to the larger issue that is Cole Turner. The finale for that part of the story was exactly what I needed!!
