A marvellous little book, full of interesting facts about, and pictures of, six different types of ant. There's even a map of the world to show where they can be found.
Like other books in this series, the younger readers can either read under guidance, or read along with a spoken narrative.
Recommended.

This book, aimed at children who are able to read alone, covers six of the twelve thousand or more ant species on this planet. It's packed full of interesting, and often gory, detail that enthralled my bloodthirsty five-year-old son. He's a little young to be reading this by himself but that didn't detract from his enjoyment. Or his questions.
