OMG so so so good! I am so glad I decided to read this series, book 1 was great and even though this one was not as action packed as the first I loved how it played out and ended. Jumping right into book 3. Great story and great characters.

The Vessel is the second book in Felicia Tatum’s YA urban fantasy. It takes off where The White Aura had ended.

Olivia Whitehead is the main character in this tale. She’s kidnapped and held captive for two months. To her surprise, Aiden (the guy who tried to kill her in the first book) is thrown in the room with her. She soon discovers his eyes are a different color, and he has no recollection of the past two years of his life. To her horror, Olivia realizes Aiden’s body was just a vessel being used by the evil sorcerer. It wasn’t Aiden himself who tried to end her life; it was that damn sorcerer instead. She feels horrible for almost killing Aiden, and let me tell ya . . . the guy’s wounds she had inflicted on him has him in bad shape.

In The Vessel, Felicia did something I really appreciated: she wrote chapters with just Aiden’s POV. I enjoyed reading those chapters, and I have to admit, I like his character better than Scott’s (Olivia’s love interest). I was secretly hoping Olivia and Aiden would hook up, or Aiden and Sadie (Scott’s sister).

Both Sadie and Aiden are my favorite characters.

Olivia and Aiden manage to escape after Olivia discovers another magical ability she has and is able to leave Scott a message on her whereabouts. But her troubles are far from over.

I don’t want to give any spoilers away, so I’ll leave it at that.

We get to meet Olivia’s estrange brother, Kyle in this book. Their parents have been kidnapped, and he wants to know what happened to them. Olivia tells him, and then in turn, he tells her shocking information about herself and their parents.

Kyle’s character is standoffish. I’m hoping we get to know him better in the next book because right now I’m not too sure how I feel about him.

Olivia’s best friend Juniper plays a larger role in this second book.

I like her.

She has spunk and is a great friend to Olivia.

Scott has two emotions running on high octane this time around: frustration and jealousy. He’s frustrated because he feels powerless to help Olivia and fears death will take her from him, which I can understand. His jealousy, though, of Aiden, is making me dislike him even more. Olivia is getting annoyed by it too, which is great because maybe she’ll ditch him for Aiden.

Hint, hint, Felicia.

I think this whole story Felicia is weaving together is coming together nicely and it’s imaginative. I’m looking forward to the third book, especially since she ended The Vessel the way she did. Now, I’m on the edge of my seat, wanting to know what’s going to happen next. So, yeah, I’ll be grabbing the next book when it comes out. That’s for sure. :)

I loved this book so much and the ending of the first book had me very anxious to start this one. It didn’t disappoint at all. I loved every second of this book for very many reasons. One of these reasons is, that the character development from the beginning of the series to the end of this book. One example of this is Juniper, Olivia’s best friend. J was a normal teenager at the beginning of the Series and got turned into an Immortal at the end of the first book and now in this book she is learning how to deal with all the new skills and powers that have started taking place in her body. Now, to Scott. I loved Scott so much. He was caring nice and loving. He did everything that he could to get Olivia back. He tried sorcery, and just plain hoping that he could get her back. He was definitely one of my favorites. But, you meet a lot of people along the way. My favorite character was definitely Sadie. Sadie is a 15 year old sorcerer that is the sister of Scott. Sadie had me laughing throughout the ending of the book. Sadie’s mischievous personality gives her a twist. You will learn not to mess with Sadie. If you do, you may end up with cafeteria food on your head. Be aware! I really liked Sadie, she is similar to myself but Juniper is like my exact replica in the appearance department. Her hair and personality, is just like mine. Give or take a few details like her eyes and supernatural speed.
Another thing that I liked about the book was the book was told from three points of views. (Pov) I think that it takes a really skilled writer to pull that off, and not have the reader going back to the beginning of the chapter to see who is talking. I was never confused and this book took me a day to finish even with my slow reading.
I am anxious for the third book!
5 out of 5 magical books!

The Vessel is the second book in Felicia Tatum’s The White Aura series which follows Olivia Whitehead and Scott Tabors continues their exciting journey through ancient evil, curses and holding onto love. Where The White Aura ends after the high school dance from hell, The Vessel picks up during the aftermath. The first chapter was nothing like I expected after thinking about where Tatum would take the story. It shocked me, I re-read it to make sure it wasn’t my imagination playing tricks on me. Repeatedly throughout reading The Vessel, I found myself asking “Oh my God, did that really just happen?”
Felicia Tatum brings the gang back together for a fast paced intense plot, where so many truths are revealed I feared my Livvie may break. Mr. Sexy (Scott) got to show us a whole different side where his jealousy and snide comments lead Olivia to question herself in more ways than one. Sadie, who was one of my favorites from The White Aura had a bigger role this time around and I really enjoyed reading the scenes with her putting everyone in their place. To me, she seems to do a good job of keeping everyone focused and relaxed which was definitely needed after all the news and circumstances the characters had to face in this book.
Overall after learning whom Devlin’s descendant was I will be anxiously awaiting the final book in this series. Felicia Tatum kept me turning the pages till the wee hours in the morning with all her exciting twists. Every time I thought I had something figured out another bomb was dropped and I was left in the wake forced to keep reading because I needed to know what happened.

Olivia "Livvy" Whitehead had gone missing. Someone took her, and Scott Tabors had no idea where to find her. His grandma and sister Sadie did their best to help him find Livvy, but it seemed like there was a powerful spell that forbade them from reaching out to her.

Aiden was beaten and was almost left for dead, all thanks to Scott after Aiden almost killed Livvy in the first book. In a surprising turn of events, Livvy found herself thrown in a dark place, with a boy who had no recollection of the evil things he'd done before. And that boy now had a different set of eyes. That boy was Aiden.

Olivia and Aiden were able to escape the clutches of their captor through Livvy's newfound magic ability. It didn't take long until Scott finally managed to find them, seething with jealousy after he saw the guy Olivia was with. Surprise, surprise!

Just like in the first book, I caught myself smirking with Scott, blushing like Livvy, in-love like Aiden and laughing with Sadie. The other new characters that were introduced provided more depth and element in the story, including Kyle and Juniper. All throughout the book, I waited with bated breath until I finally learned why the book was entitled The Vessel. In the end, my heart cried out for him because he had been through a lot. I wish I could take away his pain. And then there's Devlin Hart's descendant finally revealed. The one who was supposed to break the curse. Oh goodness, I really have to read the next book! Felicia Tatum's writing prowess had me sold!

Realization: This book is on the YA/Fantasy genre - and I'm already an adult in mid-30s, and I still behaved like a teenager while reading this. Unforgivable!

What!! I read the last page only to find out the cliff hanger and feel so frustrated the scream at the end if the book rang in my ears. How good, how captivating...

There were slow moments when I felt things could pick up a bit or be handled faster but really it's all in the details and as a whole this book was nearly perfect.

Olivia, Scott, Mark, Juniper, Aiden, Sadie and Anna how do you keep them all in check. And I'm pretty certain I know the mysterious dark hair man they keep seeing. So now on to buy the next in the series!

Below you will find my SPOILER-FREE SERIES REVIEW

Amazing. Phenomenal. Addicting. THE WHITE AURA SERIES by Felicia Tatum is a MUST, especially if you’re a fan of YA Paranormal Romances! With twists and turns that had me guessing what would happen next, these books were true page turners. I was hooked from the very beginning and they held my attention all the way through.

Felicia Tatum developed fantastic characters that were easy to understand and relate to. Her writing style was, to me, impeccable. The main reason I loved it so much was because it allowed me to see everything through the characters’ eyes. Aside from the books having different POVs, the amount of details provided created an über clear picture of the scenes unfolding, and yet, they weren’t wordy, which is something I hate in books. Honestly, this series felt balanced – another huge PLUS! The books had a bit of everything: passion, drama, suspense, and of course, paranormal aspects, without going over-board or over-doing it.

“…the moment I saw Livvie, everything changed.”

Scott’s family had been cursed many, MANY years ago. If they met their heartmate before they (the heartmate) were 17 years and 6 months old, they would die the moment they turned 18. And that’s where the problem started. You see, Scott met Olivia (Livvie) when she was 16-ish, only she didn’t know him. The moment he laid eyes on her, he knew she was his soulmate. He knew she was meant for him. Being a 5th generation sorcerer meant he had a few great powers, thought, one which included dream-walking. So he began visiting Livvie in her dreams, waiting for the day she could meet him in real life and fall in love with him.

Thinking she was going insane, Livvie didn’t tell anyone, not even her best friend, about Mr. Sexy, the boy she’d been dreaming about for the past year. Now 17 years old, Livvie was experiencing things that were making Scott’s “waiting plan” a whole lot more difficult. She was no longer safe.

Waiting plan ABORTED.

They met.

Before Livvie was 18.

A LOT happened to Scott and Olivia. A LOT. Upon meeting, now it was a battle – in more ways than one – not only against the curse, but other enemies. Like I mentioned before, Felicia Tatum delivered twists, turns, and many surprises which you have to experience for yourself, so I won’t go into any of the details. But know this – the buildup was amazing! I seriously enjoyed this series from beginning to end and I cannot wait to read Sadie’s book: SCORNFUL SADIE!

FIVE STARS to The White Aura, The Vessel, Devlin’s Descendant, and Unbound Destinies!

The Vessel by Felicia Tatum is book 2 in The White Aura Series. The story line continues where book 1, The White Aura, ended. It is fantastic and just like the first book it had my attention right away.

Something has happened to Olivia Whitehead. She has been missing for a few months. She is nowhere to be found. Mr. Sexy, the young man from her dreams, his grandmother and sister are doing all they can to find her. Will they be able to find Olivia in time? They have been researching and looking through books to find out any information that might help them find her. In one of the books, his grandmother finds something about The Vessel. What is the Vessel?

Olivia and her friends, Juniper and Mark, went through a traumatic event the night before she went missing. That horrible night is when she found out that Aiden was not the person that she thought he was and that he is an evil person. She ends up wounding Aiden badly and he disappears. With all the chaos that was going on, Mr. Sexy shows up to help them and that is when she meets him for the first time. She found a lot of things that she didn’t know before. That night changed everything for everyone that was involved.

Olivia finds herself in a room somewhere when she wakes up. She has no idea where her captor has taken her. One day she gains a roommate in the room that she is in. Olivia goes to see who the person is in the other bed and is very surprised to see who it is. Who could the mystery person be? Olivia has to figure out a way to get in touch with Mr. Sexy and how to get her and the mystery person out of their prison.

As I was reading, I can feel the emotions of both Olivia and Mr. Sexy. They are going through a lot and they are lost not being with each other.

Felicia Tatum has done it again. The Vessel is a must read just like book 1, The White Aura. I am really looking forward to reading book 3 in the series. I definitely recommend my friends to read both books.

This book… wow! I dare you to read it and not get as sucked into the story as I did.

I’m not even totally sure why I’m so blown away by The Vessel, but I think it has to do with seeing how dynamically the author’s story-telling skills have improved from her first book. I’m downright anxious to see how Tatum takes things to the next level with her upcoming projects. Reading The Vessel from The White Aura, you can really see how the author has more fully developed her voice and writing style. She seems to truly have developed her understanding of how to deliver an electrifying story.

There are a couple of specific things Felicia Tatum did really well with this book. The first is the ‘how-could-this-situation-possibly-get-worse-for-the-main-characters?’ factor. The author nails it. Then I thought the pace was great and I loved the addition of the new POV, which really sheds light on the other main characters. Through the new POV, the reader begins to truly appreciate how fully developed each of these characters are.

As far as the plot, lots of fantastical stuff happens (it pushes the boundaries of your imagination even further than The White Aura did) but Felicia Tatum makes all the implausible stuff of the magical world seem normal... And that ending! Ugh! That’s a cliff hanger that will ensure I buy the next book in the series!

This is a book that will make readers sit up and take notice of this indie author. The Vessel is one that’s going to put Tatum on the map.

This is the 2nd book in the series... and I was not disappointed!

This book is thru the eyes of Olivia, Aiden and Scott and I enjoyed getting to read it thru each of their eyes/perspective.

In the book we get to see Grandma Ann, Sadie, Olivia, Scott.. all searching for answers on who/what she is and try to find out an answer to the curse and who is after her! ... Some will be explained and it is a rather interesting/unique twist that I didn't see coming. I want to elaborate, but can't... you will have to read for yourself on what happens! (just say it's good :) )

I also have to state that I feel very bad for Aiden! I just feel such sadness for him and would not wish his issues/problem/horrendous things that happened to him on anyone.. poor guy! You will find out with him on why the book is called The Vessel!!

I have to say that I was rather upset with Scott's jealousy in this book though.. ;( hoping he will snap out of that in the next book! ha :) Wish he would realize that Olivia is "really" only into him!

Felicia's has an awesome writing style that just flows and makes you become emotionally interested in the characters and just makes you want to keep reading until you finish the book. It's a nice light read that just intrigues you!

There were things that happened in this book that I was not expecting and am looking forward to where Felicia will take us next in this fabulous series! :) :)

*Again I have to say Thank You to Felicia for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review of this book!***

I loved the fact that there is 3 peoples point of view but what I didn't like about that was there was no communication between the characters. There was too many secrets being kept. Yes secrets is part of making a good book I haven't read a book that didn't have big bold secrets but in this there was way to many of them. I got fustraited at the characters once one secret was out, 1 more was keep. Some of the time it felt like the whole book stopped because there was no communication. I am reading the 3rd book now and there is 4 point of views in that but again no communication at all. I don't know if that was intentional when Felicia was writeing the book but It felt like you where pressing the play and pause button over and over again. when Aiden came back into the book I was really surprised, But I didn't like the fact that Olivia just execpted him with open arms when there should have been some hesation. I get that Olivia's character is supposed to be super nice but then there's nice and overly nice. Though I love the characters they seemed not that well planed. From the first book up she slowly added one more person's point of view but in the second and 3 book it seemed like the characters parts where rushed, now some people may disagree but it all depends on what you expect in a book. I do love Sadie and Juniper and you have to love Olivia and Scott. But I still feel like the books could have been more planed.

Scott and Olivia are back in another adventure. Along with them are Mark, Grandma, Sadie, Juniper, and Aidan.

Life went from boring and uneventful to adventurous every second for Olivia and everyone involved in her life. She was suppose to graduate but ended up having a change in plans that wasn't up to her. For two months she was forced to be away from Scott which weakened him. Once she was back, her brother came into the picture. He told her about her past and why she has powers.

Some secrets are better left buried but sometimes they come out because there is no other choice. Livvie learns that her parents aren't human but rather a vampire and a sorcerer. Not to mention she learns a few other things, like who the deer is that she keeps seeing in her dreams.

At the end Scott learns a shocking truth that could cripple him.

Overall this was a fantastic book. I fell in love with the characters in the first book and was so glad to know that there was a second one. I have no doubts that the third one will be just as amazing as the first too. Felicia Tatum does a great job at leaving you wanting more as far as ending the books. Each ends with a shocking realization and makes you want to know how things will play out for them. I honestly have to say I am glad that I was given the chance to read book one and fall in love with another amazing author.

The vessel another 5 stars from me for Miss Tatum, this book ticks all the boxes the first did but with more excitement and nail biting moments.

Again Miss Tatum's relaxed chatty writing style drags you in from page one, I couldn't put the book down. This story is again written in first person with the POV of Livvie and Scott but this time also with the added POV of Aiden. 3 persons POV really works in this story. It is very clear whose pov is what and when and I loved having the 3 different sides giving a more detailed insight into the 'new Aiden' The reader really gets to know the 3 main characters on a deeper level in this 2nd novel.I love seeing the jealous side of Scott, the strength of livvie arise more too. They are wonderful loveable characters

From page one its captivating leaving the reader with many questions to ensure the reader keeps reading, and its impossible not to.The 2nd book has much more action and a lot happens in a short story, but the story line is so amazing it does not spoil the story at all that so much is going on.

The 2nd book is exciting, mysterious, and still keeps its sexy side with wonderful explorations of family relationships , friendship and romance. This book is fantastic YA book ticking all the boxes and I really can't wait for book 3.

The Vessel is book 2 in Felicia Tatum’s White Aura series. It picks up right where book 1 ends and alternates between Scott, Olivia, and then Aiden’s point of view. Felicia does a great job of combining the different views of the characters and making the reader care about each one.

At the end of White Aura, Book 1 of this series, I despised Aiden but by the end of book 2 I loved him. I felt so bad for him. He suffered and lost so much. I really hope he has a happy ending with someone other than Olivia. Wink

The story moves along at a fast pace. We discover more about Olivia’s heritage, revisit the continued danger of “the curse”, and are introduced to new dangers that face her and her brother. Olivia is definitely growing as a character. She is becoming stronger in her powers and her identity while Scott seems to be regressing and letting his jealousy get the best of him.

I’m looking forwarding to reading Book 3, Devlin’s Descendant. I have certain characters that I really hope end up together and I love the mystery surrounding the curse. I will definitely continue to follow this series and this author….she’s great!

Really liked this book!

Well it seems Livvie has done went and got herself kidnapped. Scott is not only grief stricken, but he is frantic. There is not only the fact that he Jas to get her back, but he then only have a mere months to break The curse or Olivia dies.
Olivia is heartbroken to not have her precious Scott. Locked in a dungeon, she has plenty of time to think. she also has the most unexpected of companions.
I am not one to Gove spoilers, so I am going to stop here. This one is just as good as the first one. it is a fast read that keeps the readers attention throughout. Very well written and edited perfectly. My only complaint is that I want to know now!!!! I don't want to wait on Tue next book!!! I have a feeling I know who was one of Livvies captors....but I have to wait to fond out. This remains one of my favorite groups from the wizardly world
Most definitely a recommended read, the whole series is. Scott is just too amazing for words. Come on, now I need book 3. I don't have a bad thing to say over this one. Action, drama ansdromance is all blended together to make the book irresistible.

The vessel left me so torn on what to rate it. I had trouble connecting with this installment I took me a while to figure out why. Felicia pick the story up exactly where it left off, with no revisit of details of book 1, The White Aura; she jumped right into the action. Which is not a bad thing at all but it leaves you a little lost and disconnected when you haven't read the first book in so long. I really believe if I had read them back to back I would've felt more connected with the characters.

After about halfway through Miss Tatum found her way back into my heart, only to hit me with a major Justine No-No! Our naughty Felicia gave me one hell of a cliffhangover!
In book one she put a perfect period to the story leaving salivating for more. This time story just stopped!! Not ended, Stopped. I felt no conclusion at all!!!

I guess is a simple solution to all this, be sure to reread The White Aura and have Devlin's Descendant ready for reading, IMMEDIATELY!

Powerful and Magical Story!

Once again Felicia Tatum manages to put more twists and turns into this amazing story!

This book continues to follow Olivia and Scott and their family and friends through some very magical problems. Olivia is only becoming accustomed to her “powers” and we go through these teething problems with her, along with the other issues she has to cope with at the moment in her life.

I feel frustrated because I want to know how it all pans out, but at the same time I don’t want it to end!

I have my own ideas of what will happen and the, Felicia writes it differentently. It certainly makes you lose yourself in the book and fee like part of the family.

This book has caught my attention in a similar way to The Significance Series by Shelly Crane.

This book leaves us with a lot of questions which need to be answered and, in my opinion, quickly!

I can’t wait for the next instalment and will be waiting very (im)patiently!

I give this book 5 stars, however, I would give more if I was allowed to.

Enjoy!

This easy to read series is intriguing, spell-binding, and fun. Felicia Tatum has taken magic, sorcery, mystery, and intense young love and combined them to create a spell binding tale that left me craving the next book in this series. After reading the first book (The White Aura) I immediately purchased the 'The Vessel' and dove right in. I was not disappointed.

The twists and turns in the first book intensify with this book and new twists are added. I enjoyed the way she describes scenes within the book without making it overbearing. I felt involved in the lives of the characters and found myself mentally urging them on.

Just when you think the solution to Olivia and Scott's problem is within reach, the dynamitic changes and creates an ever larger problem for the two of them. Are things what they seem or do we often close our eyes to the obvious? Will their love survive this new revelation or will hearts and souls be crushed? I eagerly await book 3.

WOW! I was impressed by the first book and was even more with this book. This is the second book of the White Aura series and you do not want to miss reading this book.

The twist and turns will have you on the edge of your seat. The roller-coaster ride that you will be taken on is amazing. This amazing ride leaves you want more of this story-line and characters.

If you thought you had this story figured out well think again because what happens in book one is not what it seems. Scott and Olivia embark on a whole new adventure that will test themselves and their relationship. Is their relationship strong enough to withstand the many obstacles and secrets that they will discover?

I highly recommend this book. This is a must read that will leaving you wanting more. I will be definitely read the next book of this series. I want and need to know what happens next.

The second book of The White Aura, The Vessel just like book one is amazing!

I love the tension between Scott and Aiden..

It's a bit funny on how the two are with each other, always fighting and getting one jealous.

I was kind of sorry for Aiden, losing his life and being used by the Crimson Calamitous.

But happy in a sense that he found new friends.

I love the events and the turns of the story.

I was still curious on one of Scott's brother. He' mysterious and a bit of a bad boy.

I love how the characters are helping each other to save Olivia.

The scenes are so cool and I love how it was described and made.

I love how the story ends, such a revelation and I'm dying on how will Scott and Olivia will deal with the new knowledge. Gah!! This book is so worth reading! Can't wait to read book 3!!

This was an amazing book!! Felicia did a great job with the characters and the storyline in this book. I love when they find out who the descendant is and how they are challenged throughout the story. This book had me on my edge of my seat and surprised me almost at every turn. You can feel what the characters are feeling and imagine everything. I like how she does individual chapters for the main characters and you get to experience through all three of their eyes. Each character grows stronger through each word you read. I think the characters were perfect with this story and enjoy learning about all of the characters.I also enjoyed how it started right where it left off with the first book. I truly have enjoyed this series from the beginning and can't wait till i read the next book. I truly loved this book and recommend it to anyone that loves supernatural and romance!!!

I received these books from HEA Book Tours, PR & More in return for a fair and honest review.

The story continues where book 1 finished. Olivia has been taken and Scott needs to find her. He also needs to find out more about the curse as he only has until Olivia turns 18 to break it or she will die. Just to make it more interesting, Aiden makes a return too, only not the Aiden that we all know. He is also being held hostage and Olivia makes a startling discovery which will shape the way of things to come. Scott also has to grow up some in this as he battles against jealousy whenever Aiden is mentioned.

This book is written from the perspectives of Aiden, Scott and Olivia. Once again the pace is swift but completely enthralling and intriguing. I enjoyed book 1 but I am enjoying book 2 even more.

Fantastic second book! The story was intense! I wasn't sure what to expect next. The author gave us more insight into Olivia's family in this book. I love how Juniper is adapting to her new abilities. I love Sadie's attitude. I have to say that Juniper and Sadie are my favorite characters in this series so far! They are both spunky and fun. I still adore Scott/Mr. Sexy, he had a bit of the green-eyed monster in this book, but I still think he's awesomely sweet. Is it hot in here or what?? There were some steamy scenes in this one. The ending blew me away. I literally cursed when I realized it was over! I kept hitting `next page' on my Kindle hoping to find more, hoping that "Look for book 3" was just a trick. I cannot wait to read the next book!!

In this continuation of The White Aura we continue to follow Olivia and Scott's story. We now are following Aiden's POV as well. We learn in this book what has happened to Olivia's Family and what role she is playing in the whole thing.
I feel horrible for Aiden! Olivia's friends and Scott treat him absolutely horrible. He goes through some much pain and strife in this book and I hope he has a Happy Ending in the next book.
How can you not love Scott's Grandmother and Sister?? 2 of the sweetest and Sassy Ladies around.
There are things in this book that will shock your socks off because you did not see them coming!! I can not wait for the next book and to continue the Journey on with this fun bunch of people.

Wow once again Felecia Tatum has written a fantastic story with love, adventure and surprises! I seriously love her writing!

This is the second book in The White Aura series and I'm totally looking forward to the next one.
I enjoy reading through Scott's, Aiden's and Olivia's POV's, I like knowing what's going on in each of their heads.
In this story they are searching for the descendant to stop the curse to save Olivia's life. Plus her Brother showing up adds another spanner to the works as he is being followed so now they have so much more to deal with. I love how involved you can become with the characters.
Thanks so much Felicia for giving me the opportunity to read ad review your wonderful book!

After reading the White Aura, I just had to buy the second book in the Series. And I must say I am not disappointed either.
I do however have a couple negative things to say again also. But let me start with the positive.
The writing was pretty good, it is a fast read that sums questions I had in the first book pretty much up.
And I will be looking for the third book as well :)
Ok here are a couple things I was not keen on.
The Love Triangle....NO PLEASE DON'T I am so over them.
Then I think it's strange how Olivia never met the "twins" or that she even saw their picture at Anna's.

Other then that I am glad that the "Mr.Sexy" did not take overhand that to me would have killed the story :)

Overall, great book.

This book was so good! The characters seemed to have really grown since we first met them in The White Aura.

The Vessel is a real page turner. I couldn't put it down. And once again Felicia Tatum gets you right at the end. Twice in this one. Not only do we find out more about Devlin Hart's descendant but Aiden finds himself in a bit of a sticky situation at the very end that will make you want to keep reading.

This being the second book in the series, I find myself very invested in these characters. I can't wait to follow them into the next book and see what happens with them next. As a matter of fact, I've already gotten my copy of Devlin's Descendant, book 3 in this series, and I'm gonna go start it NOW!

Another great book by Felicia Tatum!

Having really enjoyed The White Aura, I was excited to dig into the second book in Livvie and Scott's world. The White Aura ended on quite the cliffhanger, and so does The Vessel…though, mercifully, I already have a copy of Devlin's Descendant to keep me busy!

Her large cast of characters open up all sorts of possibilities for not only more books in the series (which I understand there will be), but also spinoff series. Though the story mostly revolves around Scott and Livvie (and to a degree, Aiden), characters like Sadie really come to life as well. And though I have a good idea how the love triangle ends, I can't decide if I like Livvie better with Aiden or Scott.

I am really excited to see where this series continues to go! Off to read Devlin!

Wow, I've had the first book in my kindle for so long I forgot about it, but once I started I couldn't stop. I'm sorry I didn't start it sooner. This second boom does not disappoint. It is not full of as much action as the first book, however that does not change how amazing this book and series is. Felicia did an awesome job setting up this series and making you really care for the characters. Can't wait to start book 3. I can say I'm super glad I started the series after all of the books or out or I'd be pissed at the endings lol. I'm not patient and always want to know what happened now. This always shows me how well an author setup the book and characters because I need it like a druggie needs a fix!
