From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Nora Flite Adrenaline is my drug, and nothing has ever rivaled my addiction. Not until now... Not until Ellie Cutter.
That cinnamon smell intoxicates me, her lips were made for bruising. You'd think she'd jump my bones like all the others, but she's all business; so calm and collected. That just makes me want to see her melt under my touch even more.
I've tasted the bodies and curves of so many women. Ellie shouldn't have any affect me.
So why can't I stop thinking about that one damn kiss?
It meant nothing... but the memory could make my zipper tear in two. I keep waking with my hand under the sheets, every bit of me hot and heavy. It's madness. Illogical. Reckless.
The only cure is to make her mine.
Author's Note-- Standalone full-length novel. No cliffhangers!

Base Jumping...who'd have thought I'd like a book about jumping off buildings, antennas, span and earth. Most people who know me know that I am so far away from an adrenaline junkie that I wouldn't even watch my hubby go on a tandem jump. He had to organise it on the sly without me knowing and tell me after the fact (my request). When he finally came to pick me up from a pre-organised distraction at my sister's place, he told me what he'd done and I burst into tears. So, adrenaline junkie I am not.
This story is about Pike and Ellie. Pike is a base jumper who did it under the cover of darkness because it is illegal. One night, someone tapes him and he is "noticed". Ellie works for Maximal a company that sells sports drinks. Her boss wants her to ooze and booze Pike to get him to sign a contract for endorsements and to jump legally on film. Ellie thinks this will be Pike's dream come true, Pike not so much.
There is an attraction straight from the start between these two. They're young and attractive and could have anyone they wanted, but they can't get each other off their minds. There was lots of chemistry between Pike and Ellie, with a slow building connection. This is a NA book, which mean there is the usual drama, jealousy and conflict, but in this case it is not over the top. Thank goodness because I am not a fan of angst driven plots.
There was action, adventure, excitement and heat which made Exposing the Bad Boy a great read for me. I don't actively seek out New Adult books, but when the lovely Nora Flite offered me a complimentary copy to read and review, I jumped at the chance. The cover and plot drew me in big time.
Complimentary ARC given by the author for an honest review.
Pike is an illegal base jumper, who jumps at night to avoid getting arrested. His thrill for jumping is closer to his heart and he will not let anything stop him. One night he is recorded jumping and catches the attention of a promotion company that takes athletes and promotes them to stardom. Ellie Cutter has been giving the job of recruiting Pike and getting him to sign. The problem is that Pike does not seem impressed with her offer. When he challenges her to a jump, she has to take one for the team. Pike becomes impressed with Ellie as well as haunted by her. As they become closer they start opening up to one another and a relationship starts to form. When an incident happens with one of his fans, Pike questions his choices. Can Ellie understand what he is going through or is she just there for the money? Can he walk away from his two loves? Can Ellie prove her worth? Will outside influences destroy it all? A very interesting story with some unexpected plot twists. I liked the characters and overall enjoyed the story. Hot books and Sassy Girls
I really loved this story! Nora Flite knows how to draw the reader in, and before you know it, you are hooked. And this was my first book with a base jumping main character. Pike Moss is a sexy base jumper who works in a coffee shop. Yeah, I was hooked just from that. I envisioned the local Starbucks, wishing for 5 seconds that they had employees like that. They'd sell more everything if they did. Pike Moss is a base jumper looking for the next jump. His day job is in a coffee shop. His world gets turned upside down when a recruiter with Maximal Energy walks in the door wanting to hire him based off a video of his last jump. A jump he thought he made alone. In the dark. When he finds out a half of a million folks have seen that jump, he panics a bit. Maximal Energy wants to use him for ads. He will get to jump from anywhere he can dream up. Will he go for the fame, or stay true to the memory he has of his dad? Ellie Cutter is a recruiter for Maximal Energy. She got hired on with them before she had finished her degree. She is one of the best in the business and has never lost a potential client. She always gets them to sign. Her boss thinks she will do anything to do so, but that isn't true. When she goes to reel in Pike, things are different. She is falling for him big time. He gets her to come out of her comfort zone. They sizzle together. But can they forge something real out of all that heat? Or will the pressure of Maximal Energy ruin everything? This is definitely a must read if you love a fast paced, sexy alpha male story with tons of heat. Nora Flite knows how to write a great tale. I have read almost everything she has written, and this one is one of her finest. It is a great read, the characters are very interesting, and the twist in the story blindsided me. I love when you can't guess what is coming. And Pike Moss is a sexy free spirit. Did I mention he is sexy?
Wow...what an adrenaline rush of a story...fast, furious and sexy as hell. Pike is a wildly adventurous man...always pushing the envelope to see how far he can go and how much he can get away with before getting caught in the act of performing his very dangerous and illegal activities. Ellie works for a company who sponsors athletes and adrenaline junkies and makes them famous pimping their client's products while exploiting the daredevil skills of these young men. She is the "shark" who gets those highly sought after athletes for her boss, no matter what it takes to woo them and get them to sign on the dotted line. However, she is not prepared to handle Pike...a man who is battling his own demons from his past, has no interest in becoming rich, famous or any corporation's puppet and makes her tingle and sweat like no man has ever done. I LOVED this very different book from Nora Flite...it was so many combinations of exciting, steamy angst, deep-rooted family history and ghosts from childhood (that affects both Ellie and Pike in their adult life)...and is really different from what I have been reading lately. I wanted to jump off of a building, a mountain or an airplane just to experience the thrills and feels that this story so wonderfully describes. Pike is not, in my opinion, a bad boy per se...more of a misunderstood and very emotionally affected young man who is still trying to figure out how to live his life fulfilled without having to almost cross the line between life and death too many times. Ellie is the one who breaks him free from his past and he in turn, shows her how to live without fear. If you love thrill-seekers, extreme sports and steamy romance, this book is for you! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
***** 4.5 ***** "take a hold of my hand and just jump" stars
I have read Ms. Flite’s previous books and have become a fan of her’s so when I had the opportunity to receive this book from her for an honest review there’s no way I would have passed that up.
This book did not let me down. It was a great read with lots of action, sexual tension, romance, and of course the hot-tattooed bad boy. Pike’s addiction was to jump off any tall building that he could get at. You would think he was crazy, right? Then there is Ellie who is a shark in the business world trying to land Pike as a client for a powerful company as a base jumper they plan to market. Only thing was that Ellie wasn’t afraid to call Pike out on his death wish and together they had a chemistry that was really hot. Ellie realized that Pike meant more to her than the job she thought was so important and honestly 2 years is a long time without sex especially when you are around a bad ass like Pike.
Ms. Flite does a great job of making you feel the angst and the chemistry between Pike and Ellie. It was a book that I couldn’t put down so if you are looking for a really good quick read that gives you some really hot action you have to get your hands on Exposing the Bad Boy.
Pike, the bad-boy base jumper and Ellie, the recruiter whose job it is to sign Pike to her company. This is the second in the Last of the Bady Boys series of standalone novels. I really enjoyed this book, although not quite as much as I did Last of the Bad Boys, the first in the series. Ellie works for Maximal Energy, and after seeing a video of Pike jumping her boss sets her out to find and sign him to their brand. There's an instant attraction, Pike sees something in Ellie he's not had before, and Ellie realizes with Pike there's more to life than just "sealing the deal" when it comes to work. She brings out the sweet side to him, he brings out the daring side of her. The chemistry, and foreplay, with these 2 is hot! This is a pretty quick and easy read, with a bit of drama and danger. If you're looking for a new bbf, who's a bad boy with a heart of gold, Pike's your man.
***I received an arc from the author in exchange for an honest review.***
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Two different people come together for a business deal. Pike, sexy, hot alpha whom by day works in a coffee shop and by night base jumps, is pursued by Ellie, determined overachiever that left school early in pursuit of her career as an extreme sport recruiter with a sports drink company. Ellie is definitely up for the task of recruiting Pike. Ellie developes feelings for Pike and soon Pike becomes obsessed with her as well. I loved that this book didn't follow the norm of - boy meets girl, they fight, boy realizes it's time to sow some wild oats, hurt each other, break up, hurt each other some more , only to realize they need to be together. I kept waiting for this to happen. I am pleased to say this story shattered all of my expectations; going to places my mind never even thought of. I was very impressed. These two are explosive ! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY ! It was so original and I was caught up in it instantly... HOT SEX with a tatted up alpha didn't hurt either.
i love this book..i love Nora..and i effing loved PIKE!!!!my babe!!i read the LAST OF THE BAD BOYS(part of this series but you can read in any order..they don´t mix each other)and i said Huxton was my man..but than Nora give us Pike and dayuuum!he is all i can se haha Adrenaline was like the air for Pike, without regret and without thinking what the future could bring him he was living just for those seconds of peace and happiness and enjoying every moment Ellie was a young, beautiful and carefree woman, working for a buissines who has the best extremme atlethes from the world, money, sex, alcohol always around her..so a bad boy and a normal in a way girl..what would happen when they must work together?..lust..passion..love..and bad decisions could show you the result for this i love Nora..her writing it´s amazing..can´t wait to read more of her books
Exposing The Bad Boy is another hit for Nora Flight. Once again she has opened a door to piece of the world not many of us have ever experienced. The reader is drawn in from the beginning and held there until the last page.
Ellie works for a big corporation as a recruiter. She lives for the thrill of landing the next big client. She is known to be a shark and always closes the deal, but is she ready for her next assignment?
Pike is a loner, living his life for nothing but his next Base (buildings, antennae, span and earth)jump. Nothing compares to the rush and freedom of free-falling through the air. Not even the risk of getting arrested can deter him from his obsession.
Ellie is asked to procure Pike for sponsorship by her company. What ensues is one thrilling adventure!
**I received "Exposing the Bad Boy" from Nora Flite as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I've read 3 of Nora Flite's books previously so of course I had high expectations and believe me they were met.
Pike Moss is a young, exceedingly handsome guy with tatts who lives the simple life, from paycheck to paycheck, slinging coffee. Yea, something sounds off with that. Hmm, well he is also a base jumper, one with a record, having been caught by the police a few times for his illegal trespassing.
His most recent late night adrenaline flight down the magic elevator might have escaped the sirens and handcuffs, but it was caught on tape and now has over 250K views on YouTube. Maximal Energy Inc. had eyes on that dark grainy video and with a bit of research figured out who this tatted, confident dare devil was.
Two years recruiting for Maximal, gorgeous, green-eyed Ellie Cutter had made quite a reputation for always coming through when courting athletes for the sports drink company to sign. She goes after Pike with her usual smooth moves, flirty but random, which leaves Pike scratching his head trying to figure her out, but definitely intrigued. Pike though turns her down flat. His Dad would never go for something like this.
Ellie tails Pike and figures out he's going to make a late night jump, but Ellie draws the security guard to him. Pike thinks quickly, and to avoid getting busted passionately starts making out with Ellie. The guard believes they're just two horny kids and lets them go. In Pike's frustration he lets Ellie know how hard it is to find places to jump and with that information, Ellie knows exactly the key to signing this hottie. She boasts that Maximal will arrange his jumps, paying off the property owners.
Pike: "She promised me something impossible. It wasn't as if Maximal could be so rich they'd actually let me— me— truly leap from the places I'd dreamed about. That WE had dreamed about, I thought sadly. Would he really hate me for signing with Maximal? My father had been adamantly against selling himself. He'd been approached before, and each time, he'd explained he jumped for the thrill, the satisfaction. Never the fame or the money. He said sponsorship would just chain him up."
Then there's Ellie, "I wanted to loath her. The active part of my body had woken with another idea. Rolling over in my bed, I groaned at the sight and feel of my throbbing erection. And all because of one kiss? A meaningless, spontaneous kiss meant to just keep us out of trouble."
But before the deal is inked, Pike throws out the one condition he has. Ellie has to jump with him.
That's all I'm gonna give away. I've read lots of biker, rocker and sports genre stories, but this is the first ever base jumper story I've ran across. I really love it. It gave us a real peek into the thrill they seek, and the feel of it all. Nora also brings the heat and sexual tension with these two characters. Yea, Pike is definitely a cocky, confident Bad Boy and Ellie is his tandem match.
ARC kindly provided by Nora Flite for an honest review I will also be placing a review on Amazon when the book goes live April 27. When we first meet Pike Moss who had broke into an abandoned building. He is standing at the top and its pure joy for him. I truly thought he was going to hurt himself. But boy was I surprised when he leapt off the building and was free falling. The thoughts that were running through his mind were completely crazy. This is his addiction ever since he was a little kid. He loved jumping off of roofs and whatever he could. His dad is the one that taught him to be safe about it by using a parachute and helmet. Pike is know as a secret base jumper. Someone had caught his jump on video and uploaded it to youtube. Ellie is a recruiter for her company Maximal. The company she works for is huge on athlete's. She gets them to sign and promote the Maximal brand whatever it is from sports drinks to clothing etc:. Corbin is her boss and when he was first introduced I thought he was slimy. He showed her the video of Pike and told her he wanted him and to be the first to sign him. Do whatever it takes you have free reign Ellie. Corbin did a background check on him and found out everything about Pike. She goes to where he works and the meeting didn't go as well as she thought it would. But of course Pike doesn't want to be chained he wants to be free. As you read through out you will understand why Pike fells that way. Ellie is kicked out of the coffee shop he works at. She sits in her car and see's the familiar shape of Pike. She follows him to a building. Ellie leads a security guard right to them. He save's them both from getting into any kind of trouble. One kiss shared between the two and that's all Pike can think about. She gives him a card with a promise that they can take him anywhere for him to jump. Anyways this is just the beginning and the more you read the more the story sucks you in I couldn't put it down. It is a good read one that I would read again. I will not say no more except that if you want to know what happens after she gives him her card then you must read this book asap.

I love Nora Flite’s books because each one is so different, and I never know what I am really getting with each one. Exposing the Bad Boy was such an interesting, adrenaline-packed story that takes the reader on a wild ride along with its characters. I loved the dynamic between Pike and Ellie right from the beginning. Pike is the epitome of a bad boy. He is a risk taker and adrenaline junkie, someone who had never been tied down with one girl. Ellie is young and ambitious, and extremely strong-willed. Because of her background and strained relationship with her mother, she always had the mentality that being successful came before other things in life, like relationships. When these two characters collide, it is so entertaining to watch. The chemistry is there from the beginning, and things only continue to get hotter between them as the story goes on. I love that both characters in this story had depth; this wasn’t a simple story of hot guy gets together with hot girl and not much else happens. Both Pike and Ellie are dealing with issues from their pasts that have shaped them into who they are today. Before they came together, they had each been dealing with their issues on their own, each in their own way. Ellie used work as a way to deal, and Pike used thrill-seeking. What is nice is how they find a balance within each other, and in the end, help each other heal. This was another five star book by Nora Flite that I truly enjoyed. Great book!
Exposing the Bad Boy, by Nora Flite, was provided to me for an honest review, and I thank her for the opportunity. I have read and reviewed a number of Nora Flite’s contemporary romances, and this novel has a unique story line. I enjoyed Exposing the Bad Boy and read it in short order.
This is Pike and Ellie’s story. The protagonist, Pike, obsessed with the edge of danger, base jumping at night, and coffee shop employee by day, suffers from the catastrophic loss of his father. Pike’s love interest, Ellie, driven by her mother to be successful, respected, gain money and fame, pursues athletic talent for a sports gear and energy drink company. Ellie meets Pike when she tries to recruit him to make commercials for the company. At first, Pike did not want to even consider the position, but he becomes intrigued by Ellie and presents her with a challenge to sky dive with him. She accepts the challenge, he becomes employed by the company, and thus a steamy, exciting romance is born.
This story is riveting from cover to cover. Nora’s descriptions - from Ellie and Pike’s first kiss, though the adrenalin-rushing jumps – allows the reader to feel everything! I liked the sexual chemistry/tension of this couple, the fast pace, the realization of this couple that they were in love, how Ellie and Pike balanced one another. All of these elements contributed to a winning read. I can recommend Exposing the Bad Boy to anyone who likes sports or contemporary romance.
**I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review** This book was breathtaking! And I'm talking literally for some parts such as the skydiving, the base jumping, the wing suits. Absolutely amazing, I could actually feel the emotions of the characters! This book was also sexy as hell, in the office, in the plane, in the staircase, and the rooftop for example, it got steamy. Another thing about this book that I really liked was that there isn't some huge misunderstanding between the main characters that lasts through a quarter of the dang book, this book manages to be hot and exciting without that. Speaking of the characters, I loved them! They worked perfectly for each other, each one being exactly what the other needs. This book begins and ends with excitement, and heart-pounding moments. Also, the staircase scene? Yeah, women the world wide would kill to have a man say that to them. I wouldn't mind a Pike of my own, just saying. ;) I can't recommend this book highly enough, simply amazing. <3
ANOTHER BRILLIANT STORY BY NORA FLITE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY OF HER BOOKS!
From the moment you begin reading "Exposing the Bad Boy" you’ll be pulled into the story, falling in love with the main characters! I don't ever go into details about the stories, so I won't spoil your fun, but if there is anything I can assure you is that you're gonna love this book!
Nora Flite is not only a great writer, she's an amazing story teller. Awesome stories keep you turning the pages and Nora Flite's stories makes you do exactly that, keep turning the pages till you're done, and by the time you reach the end, you wish there was more to it, so that you can keep reading.
Nora along with her stories always take me on a journey, introducing me to new people and many new places, all of which will make me feel transported to a different world, a world in which I can become anyone or anything my heart desire.
Pike is a base jumper. That alone is a risky thing to do. When he does it at night well that is just plain outrageous.
Ellie works for a promotion company. She recruits star athletes or celebrities to promote products. When she was told to recruit Pike. She had no clue of how to handle him. All she knew was that this guy was a risk taker and that was it. She had to find out what would appeal to him to get him to sign. When she did that something else also happened. Not dating for two years and then having a guy like Pike make her think about things that she never thought of before it was unfamiliar to her. But would they follow what their bodies were telling them or would they allow their brain to take over.
This is one romance story that is about overcoming your fears and loving every minute of it.
Exposing the Bad Boy is a love story about Pike Moss who works in a coffee shop by day, but spends his nights in the pursuit of the dangerous & illegal sport of base jumping. I had never heard of this before, so the story was unique & his addiction to this consumed his whole life. Ellie Cutter was the best recruiter for extreme sport's athletes for the company Maximal, who sold sports drinks & other products. She had never failed to sign someone to endorse their products, and when her boss sent her after someone, she was told to do what ever she needed to get them to sign. Pike was different from anyone else she had been sent to sign, and finally he said he would only sign if she jumped with him, thinking she doesn't want him to sign so badly that she'd risk her life. Their meeting changes everything for both of them. This story was unique & I really enjoyed.
I am so lucky. How lucky? I got to read this book! Good Lord!
I know others will review this book in a more intellectual manner. All I can say is how Exposing the Bad Boy made me FEEL. Well, to start out, I have to begin at the ending. I finished reading this book maybe ten minutes ago. I still have tingles up and down my spine. My heart is finally back in my chest.
I became so invested in the book, it became real...I felt like I was falling...and being caught up, only to sail back down to earth and feel so ALIVE. Honestly. I feel like I hit an adrenaline high.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Pike is a base jumper and Ellie is a recruiter for the company that wants to sign him. Pike's one and only love is jumping but until he meets Ellie. Ellie is at the top of her game, completely focused on her job but when she meets Pike she realizes there is more to life than work. One thing I especially liked about this romance is that there was no huge fight that parted them for months at a time which is so common in many books these days. Pike and Ellie are great characters and I fell in love with them as they fell in love with each other.
OMG Nora has done it again what an absolutely fantastic book I loved every single bit of it.
The connection between Pike and Ellie is perfect I really enjoyed both characters. A base jumper didn't see that coming, that's what's so good about Nora Flite you never what you're going to get the element of surprise is fantastic.
And what a clever way to end the story as it was a lovely ending and could stop there but also it could quite easily be carried on to another book.
What more of an adrenaline rush then base jumping in the dead of night in LA? Pike loves to live for this sport and one night is video of him jumping goes on utube and catches the eye of a energy drink company and they sent in the only female recruiter Ellie to sign him on. This has both p.o.v's and you can see what they had to go through to get Pike to sign and start booking jumps. Along with the new job & jumps Ellie and Pike find themselves leaning towards on another in a new position, falling for each other. Over all it was a good story.
I received an arc copy from the author for an an honest review. First I was torn between 4 and 4.5 stars. Its written from the point of view of two characters, Pike Moss And Ellie Cutter. Pike is a dare devil base jumper, who loves risks and works at a coffee shop by day. Ellie is is a representative from a company out to do anything to get pike to sign so they can sponsor him. Its an interesting story and I liked the characters. I was pleasantly surprised with the story development and characters. I little different from my normal reading bit I liked it and would reread it.
Pike Moss is what some would consider an adrenaline junkie. For him nothing beats the thrill of jumping off of the tallest things he can find. His passion for base jumping leaps off the page. With descriptions so vivid you can almost feel the wind caress your face, Nora Flite brings us the story of how Pikes singular obsession turns into two. Ellie Cutter gives him a thrill that nothing but jumping ever has.
I received a copy of this book for my review. Pike is an interesting bad boy. Lots of angst. Ellie is a person that needs to have a real life. I loved the BASE jumping descriptions. Lots of pre sex going on her. Hot Hot Hot. Pike is an illegal base jumper and Ellie wants him to jump for her company and push products. He feels it's selling out to work with her but after a bet he agrees. Good ending with the bad guy. I would recommend this book
This story was so great. It didnt have the usual billionaire falling for the beautiful staffer. Both of the leads were living trying to measure up to expectations that left no time for anything other than their personal achievements until they found each other. Once again love changed everything. I read a lot of different authors and I really loved this one. Thank for the gift of the ARC.
“Ellie had turned me into something so much more. She'd healed my old scars, allowed me to see that if she could love me for who I was—through everything—then my father surely had, as well. That it wasn't my fault my obsession had led him to his grave.”
Had the pleasure of getting an ARC of Nora's latest book. "Exposing the Badboy" did not let me down. Hot alpha male character with sexy tattoos and attitude. Sassy, strong female lead. Hot, Spicy, Sexy, adrenaline inducing story!! Loved learning about base jumping. The descriptive writing made me feel like I was there and could feel the wind on my face. Great job Nora. 2 thumbs up from me!!
Just finished Exposing the Badboy, this isn't my first Nora Flite read. I'm a big fan, loved the characters & storyline. At first I thought E was going to be an alpha female, thank god she wasn't. I prefer the males to have that role :) which Pike filled well. Great job Nora, I would recommend this book for a nice quick yummy read.
Pike & Ellie! What a great love story! Pike the quiet bad boy. He's aware of his hotness & he's a gentleman & falling in love. He's the guy we all want... confident, funny, good looking, not greedy... How you doin'? Miss Cutter... she tried not to fall but it was over before she saw it coming. Highly recommended for anyone into romance novels.
I got this book for an honest review and that made me a little nervous. I wasn't sure I would connect with the whole base jumping, but I have to say every jump made me feel like I was right there. I loved it! It was great to read something different. Nora did a terrific job with this one! I'm excited to see what the next book brings. Thank you for sharing!
