The Hunter's Code #23
The Hunter’s Code: Book 23: A Portal Progression Fantasy Series
“Spring’s coiled!” Hunter Dan used to say, laughing happily as he placed the charge in the catapult and powered the magic shell with his own destructive Gift. What happened next? Well... Sometimes an entire World ceased to exist. A bad World, of course, very bad!
Anyway, it looks like the spring is coiled over this World. Guess we’d just have to uncoil it, then. What am I, a Hunter, or just here on vacation?

Mostly side quests and story set up
The MC finds new relatives, kills off the remaing emissaries and does some clean up of criminals on the way.
I liked the setup about the patriarch's ring and the sword Snake but was sad to have to wait for the solution.
