Felicity wasn't expecting Noah Call to meet her at the train station. She was expecting Peter, the successful rancher and businessman she had agreed to marry. She had but aside everything at home, all on the strength of a few letters, to become a mail order bride. Now the man she had said she would marry couldn't even be bothered to meet her in person.

Noah Call is a rough, no-nonsense rancher who doesn't put up with Felicity's high handed city ways. As she travels to Peter's ranch she wonders if she has made a terrible mistake. Is she cut out to be a mail order bride?

But is there more to the strange Noah Call than meets the eye? What really happened at the burnt out ranch buildings they pass on route? And what secrets lurk within Felicity's new home?

This is a clean Christian Western Romance with a mail order bride theme.

I listened to the audiobook of this story. Quick book and narration was good. Felicity was expecting her intended husband, Peter to meet her at the train station, instead she gets a rude Noah. She is a mail order bride and quite upset at the turn of these events. Noah is not impressed with Felicity uppity remarks. Felicity has no choice, but to leave her belongings at the station and travel by horse to meet Peter on the ranch. Boy when she finally meets him, she will give him a piece of her mind. Interesting story.

Expecting her intended to meet her on arrival at the train depot, a mail order bride is shocked when a different man arrives and insists that she may not bring her trunks on the next part of their journey. At less than 1 hour, this is the perfect little story to sandwich in between longer series. Some books in this Ashwood mail order bride series are impossible to find, but since they are very loosely linked....

Fast read

Seriously way too short story! Glad this was a free with Kindle book or should I say short story. Good but the past/present story line was a little confusing at first. Still a good tale could be a really good book with more or different telling of these events.
I read this in 45 minutes...So if you need to pass an hour this is worth your time.

The narration was superb!

Ice bride

The story has a very abrupt ending. It is like the end of a chapter only the book just stops in the middle of her own story with no idea of what she is supposed to say next. Other than that it is a good story line and it keeps you entertained.
