Sometimes the biggest obstacle to overcome is yourself.
Kieran Callaghan has it all. As the sole remaining single male of the Callaghan clan, he is drawing a lot of female attention. Not only is the former SEAL easy on the eyes and the poster boy for BodyWorks, the fitness center he owns/operates, but he is a genuinely nice guy with a white-knight complex.
The only thing he doesn’t have is the one thing he wants most: a croie with which to share his life.
Faith O’Connell is a young, single mom hoping for a fresh start for her and her teenage son. Life hasn’t been easy, but they’ve managed. Once forced to live off the charity of others, she is determined to make it on her own.
When Kieran shows up on her doorstep, Faith is quite sure she’s met the perfect man. He might just be the best friend she’s ever had, and her son adores him. But they come from two vastly different worlds, and Faith knows it can’t be anything more. She’s already been down that road once, and has the scars to prove it.
Kieran doesn’t care about any of that. Faith is his. And he will convince her that when you find your croie, nothing else matters.

The heroine:Faith - She is a single mother of a thirteen-year-old son Matt. They hadn’t had an easy life and Faith was glad to see her son acting like a kid again. He’d had to grow up early and she hoped moving to Pine Ridge Pennsylvania would be good for him. Matts father never recognized him as a son and Faith’s parents disowned her when she turned up pregnant at fourteen. They drove their ancient car for over fifteen hours and would have their own small house, though it needs a lot of work.
The Hero:Kieran - he is the youngest of the Callaghan brothers and the last to find his Croie (his fated mate). He is a former Navy Seal who still works in covert ops for the government on a consulting basis with his brothers. Though they do less missions now that all his brothers are married. He also owns and operates a gym called BodyWorks. He is a nice guy and friendly to everyone in Pine Ridge where he, his six brothers and his father live.
The Story: Kieran had to go to one of their properties to verify the old house had working electricity and plumbing. Shane was selling the place that he bought to flip, and he had never gotten time to work on the old place, so he wanted Kieran to check the place out before the single mom and her kid got there. Kieran isn’t too thrilled about a single mom taking on a place like that, but it was what she wanted.
I liked the story, especially about the fact that Faith was so gun shy about believing Kieran would really love her since her experiences with love in the past had gone so bad, especially with her parents kicking her out at fourteen and pregnant. Kieran was a great character and I liked him so much even in the previous books, he was great with her son Matt as well.
This audiobook was done in dual points of view via solo narration. It was narrated by Aiden Snow, who is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a terrific voice, which is deep and soft. He is a great narrator and is perfect for a strong military man. I like dual or duet narration a lot better, though if you are going to have only one narrator, Aiden Snow is the one to have!
So the last Callaghan brother has found his croie. I have really enjoyed this series and Having Faith was just as good as the rest. Kieran is the youngest of the brother's and runs the gym. At the beginning of the book he is feeling restless and wants to be like his brothers and find his one. Faith is a single mother to a 14 year old boy. She has had it extremely tough bringing up her son. The father denied paternity, her parents disowned her, so pregnant homeless and penniless, she learnt to struggle on her own to provide for her and her son Matthew.
When the couple meet Kieran feels an instant attraction, while Faith finds Kieran appealing, she doesn't think he would ever be interested in someone like her. There were many times throughout this story that the condemnation, shame and pity shown to Faith brought a tear to my eye. Assumptions are made as to why and how a 28 year old woman managed to have a 14 year old son. Was she raped, forced or attacked? To be honest it made me stop and think of the times I have judged similar situations. To read where even the Callaghan women question and judge her made me feel bad. Faith is a strong woman who has learnt to deal with it all. Her driving force is her son's happiness...how can you judge that?
I did feel that the relationship between Kieran and Faith took too long to cement. Faith was a wee bit too stubborn and Kieran a wee bit too patient. We didn't get an intimate scene between the couple till right at the end. Knowing what these boys are capable of...very disappointing. There was one scene where a woman Kieran had previously dated shows up but Kieran is embarrassed by her approach and clearly shuts down her advances. This scene makes Faith have less confidence, which didn't help Kieran's cause.
I loved the dynamics of Faith and Matthew's relationship. He was a very mature boy who loved his Mum and didn't take advantage of or ignore the sacrifices she made for him. We get to see a few of the Callaghan brothers and their wives, but considering this was the last brother, I thought there would be more. No missions were undertaken which was not really surprising to me. None of them want to put themselves in danger, as they have very important loved ones waiting and worrying about them.
Overall, another great installment to the series and I am glad to hear there will be more.
Again, i do not have anything against Christian believe. But this book is boring. There is nothing memorable or i like about this book.
The insta lust is too much. I thought Kieran adoration toward Faith can save this book, but i was wrong. His adoration is too cheesy. The story background is too good to be true.
Having Faith veered away from the suspense plots the others in the series have followwed, and was more about trying to cope with what little you have the best you can. Faith did this and more. She managed against all odds to raise a fantastic son, that she had at an extremely young age, on her own as her family deserted her when she needed them most. So, I kind of got why she needed to be independent, and not rely on anyone as she never had anyone to rely on but her constant TSTL pushing away "you're too good for me so I can't have you" towards Kieran really did get a little tiring. She was an amazing, strong woman who was portrayed as a ridiculous martyr when that needn't have been, and I think that let her character down sadly.
Kieran was rather different from his brothers too, he was more patient and backed off when she pushed him away rather that being "I am alpha". Don't get me wrong, I loved him. And I partcurlarly loved his relationship with Matt.
Although I struggled a bit with the last two books I have really enjoyed the series and am looking forward to more from AZ.
4 Faithfully in love with the Callaghan Brothers Stars!
I am confident I am in the vast majority when I say that I have been lusting after Kieran Callaghan from the very beginning of this series. So it should come as no real surprise that when Having Faith finally landed on my Kindle I was gushing like a total fan-girl.
Kieran is the youngest Callaghan and only brother to have not yet found his croie or heart. Biding his time until he eventually meets his soul-mate Kieran spends his days working in both his highly successful gym and also for the family's coverts ops team. Like his brothers before him Kieran indulges in random hook ups but knows they are meaningless, no woman will matter to him until he meets his croie.
Growing tired of waiting for his "one" Kieran starts to worry he will never find her, that is until a beautiful single mother named Faith and her teenage son, Matt enter his life and change it forever. Kieran knows from the very beginning that Faith is destined to be his but will he be able to convince this strong, fiercely independent beauty that she is the other half of his heart and soul?
This book was probably a little softer than the ones before it. Kieran was a total sweetheart the whole way through. He adored Faith and Matt. He was patient, sweet, caring and incredibly protective. Faith for the most part I really enjoyed, but there were a few moments where I was feeling a lot of frustration with the way she was thinking/acting. Nowhere near as frustrating as I found Maggie in her book, but sill enough to have me grinding my teeth a few times.
I really enjoyed the relationship between not only Faith and her son, Matt but also between Matt and Kieran (and the other Callaghan's too). Faith and Matt had spent years struggling and had very little but they loved each other and were thankful for everything they did have. Matt was always present in the story and always included. I really enjoyed that aspect as it gave the story more realism. Too often writers sort of leave the children out of the way and focus on the romance. Yes, this book was full of romance and attraction but the main focus was on building a family environment, and I really liked that.
If I had to find a fault it would simply be the whole "relationship test" aspect that we have all grown accustomed to in the past six books. You know, the one where the Brother and his Croie undergo a "trial by fire" as Kieran so aptly put it. Don't get me wrong, Kieran and Faith weren't without their fair share of drama, its just that knowing this was the final brothers book I was expecting a fairly epic conclusion especially given the dramatic precedents set in the previous books. Unfortunately, the series didn't end with a huge bang but instead a nice sweet flame.
Overall Zanders has managed to create another great book filled with beautiful characters, a sweet and sexy romance as well as a nice little dose of drama to shake things up.
Finishing this book was actually bittersweet, I was happy Kieran finally found his Croie but a little devastated knowing that this was the last Callaghan Brother to read about and lust over.
Thankfully Ms. Zanders has taken pity on us and will be releasing a book about Aiden Harrison in the future so they will not be completely gone from our lives.
If you have not yet read this series, I would recommend doing so immediately. You will not be disappointed!
Unlike previous books in this series this one didn't have any suspense, no one got shot, no missions or anything like that.Just Faith and Kieran building their relationship, but that relationship only came together in the last couple chapters of the book! While Kieran realised early on that Faith was his croie he knew he had to go slowly.... Cue lots of inner monologues and some insecurity from Faith, cameos from the other family members and the bright light to me a developing relationship between Matt and Kieran then a dumb separation when Faith lets pride get in her way. By the time the couple go through the ily's(which didn't appear feasible but "croie" so allowances were made) I was looking at the percentage of pages left in dismay. We then got a quick proposal,a wedding, unexpected baby, wrap up of Matt's dad and THE END! I needed more time with them as a couple to really make this one stand out to me,again the potential was there but I felt it didnt live up to it at all. However I somewhat enjoyed it though I felt mild frustration at Faith's stubbornness but considering her backstory I understood her reasoning....on to the next!

This book was utterly depressing and as much as I loved Kieran, I never really came to like Faith. Don't get me wrong, I respected all that Faith went through and how she overcame getting pregnant at age 14, being kicked out of the house and making it on her own with such an amazing son. But she was way too stubborn for her own good and pushed away any and everyone who tried to help her in any way, no matter how small the deed. She was simply unwilling to accept help because her pride got in the way. I get that she got to where she was on her own with only minimal help, but she had a son to think about as well, not just her own ego. The first 90% of the book was her basically saying 'thanks, but no thanks' to Kieren and every other Callaghan. She refused to believe Kieren could really want her because of how her then 17 year old hookup broke her 14 year old heart. Seriously, you base an adult relationship on one when you were 14? I mean if she thought she had matured that much since she was 14, why would she think a man her own age now would act like a teen? I never really smiled or laughed during the first 90%, there was no suspense/action to make up for the lack of romance and this book seemed a lot different than the first 6 books in the series.
Now Kieren had the patience of a saint. Once he realized Faith was 'his heart,' he was incredibly patient. He walked away when she asked, but was there for her when she finally breaks down. So I really respected and liked him, but he was certainly a bigger person than I could have been.
Oh and on top of this, the Callaghan ladies mess up big time in this book and act like complete snobs and witches. It was like a total 180 from their typical reactions and personalities towards those that are the Callaghan men's croie. I was honestly shocked and appalled at their behavior. Yes, they fix their mistake at the end, but they lost some of my respect.
I really hope Aidan's book makes up for the disappointment of this one.
Kieran Callaghan would have to be my favourite brother. Quiet and unassuming he's watched each of his brothers find their one and fall in love. He knows there is one out there for him, but where?
Faith is a single mom. A young single mother who was kicked out of home by her god-fearing parents when they found out she was pregnant.
She has made her way in life, caring for her son, she has struggled and been forced to accept hand-outs in the past but thats what it is in the past. She makes her way to Pine Ridge. A new start. She has managed to scrape a deposit to put down on a house and make a new life for her little family.
The house is one that Callaghan's had and off-loaded. When Kieran realises how bad the property is, he's not impressed with his brother. But unbeknown to him his brother knows something he doesn't. That Faith is his brothers croie.
I loved the slow build to their romance. It was sweet and romantic. He did not rush her even though his soul was crying out she's his one.
When life comes back to haunt Faith and her son, it's Kieran and his family that are there to help her. Beautifully written love.
Kieran Callaghan has found his Croie but now has to convince her to give him a chance without scaring her away. Faith is a young single mom determined to provide a good life for her son. She learned the hard way not to rely on others and tries to keep Kieran at arms length, but he is having none of that! -4.5 Stars!-
This is actually the third book I've read from this author (I read Ian & Lexi's as well as Jake & Taryn's) and I have to say this is probably my favourite! I have a real soft spot for a single parent with kids and the kids being accepted wholeheartedly by the person they fall in love with. I felt so sorry for Faith and how she ended up being a single parent, but she was an awesome mum and Matt was a great kid. Kieran was a sweetheart and made me smile a lot. My only gripe was actually the two women whose books I've previously read: Taryn and Lexi. Tarryn should have known better than to be so judgemental and Lexi calling her out at work to have a 'chat' was in poor taste. I wanted them both to apologise to Faith and have Kieran step in and stand up for Faith...but it never happened. Evething was glossed over. Maybe Taryn & Lexi's attitude wasn't supposed to be read that way, but that's how I took it. But it's still a great read! On a side note, I loved Shane and Lacie and how supportive they were. I'm now off to read their story now... :)
Having Faith Indeed! Kieran Callaghan definitely needed to have faith in this seventh book of the Callaghan Brothers series. Faith O’Connell and her 14 year old son, Matt, haven’t had an easy life however things are about to change for them in Pine Ridge, though not without some bumps along the way. I loved this wonderfully crafted story of two sweet souls who have found each other and even through some adversity make it through in the end. Matt was a ray of sunshine and every parent’s dream child…What a wonderful young man! Of course Aiden Snow always does an amazing job with all the voices and emotions and gives us a thoroughly entertaining listening experience.
I love these books! Each Callaghan has had his own set of challenges as they meet and fall in love with his croie (soulmate). In this book, the youngest, Keiran, finally finds his croie, Faith. He recognized her as his soulmate very quickly, but knew he couldn't move quickly with this very young single mom of a 13 year old. You definitely don't want to miss Keiran and Faith 's story. Thanks Abbie Zander's for another great read!
To the end I can tell that I enjoyed this series and this last three books more than other and got me surprised because the dynamic was different. Faith, for example,is a very particular character more normal and realist.
Last book in the series. It was okay. Some things I didn't understand e.g. why was her son so fascinated by tunnels and the basement of their new house?
This was so disappointing. I was looking forward to Kieran's book. Especially since he has been on the periphery of all the previous Callaghan brothers books. Possibly it's on me.
I can deal with the "my croie" thing. I can handle the instalust. I will even deal with the instalove. I cannot abide books where the H/h moans about not being good enough for the h/H to the point they can barely have a relationship. Incessantly bemoaning his/her inadequacy thought the ENTIRE book is the biggest turnoff. It took everything in my power to finish this book.
It was hard for me to imagine Faith being strong and independent enough to raise her son for 14 years with minimal to no assistance to be the good kid he seemed to be, yet, the woman had no self esteem.
I was sick of her constant whining about not taking charity, not taking handouts. It was too much for me. By the time Kieran and Faith finally got together, the book was almost over.
By that time, the whole HEA seemed implausible. Faith did a complete about face after learning one piece of information.
I would have appreciated the story more if Kieran had gradually worked through her self esteem and charity issues instead of going from staying away from him to committing to a lifetime with him.
My recommendation is that you read this book and form your own opinion.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the seventh in the Callaghan Brothers series and ends in an HEA. Kieran is the youngest Callaghan brother and last to find his soul mate. He quickly realizes the young single mom who purchased a run down shack from his brother is the one for him. This book delves back into the paranormal as Kieran trusts his feelings regarding Faith based on his family's belief in soul mates.
>Faith is an interesting character. She has an issue accepting help from anyone. Part of the humor in this book is how circumspect the brothers have to be to get Faith to accept anything from them. Faith's son, Matt, is a very grown up 13 year old. He really shows maturity when dealing with his mom and Kieran. Faith's backstory is sad, but very believable, dealing with the "do as I say, not as I do" type of people.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this story 5 stars. Kieran is so trusting and sweet. He is the epitome of a gentleman.
For once, the author doesn't have the male protagonist snoop and invade the privacy of the female protagonist- at least not as much as in the previous six novels of this series. However, the way that Faith (the female protagonist) talks about having a GED, working a minimum wage job, even raising a son as a single parent with such shame and lack of pride really puts my back up. None of those things, indeed, nothing Faith does or has accomplished, should be diminished or seen as less than respectable and worthy. I don't like the implication that these things are somehow less than someone who has a PhD, or an enormous salary, or who is not a single parent, in fiction or in the real world. The fact that it's done so that the male protagonist can be the one to point out all these things as the accomplishments that they are is even more disappointing.
Having Faith is a spectacular romance by Abbie Zanders. I love this book. Faith and her 13 year old son Matt arrive in Pine Ridge ready for a new start and a home of their own, even though it does need some work. Kieran is the last Callaghan brother still single and wants nothing more than to find his croie. When the Callaghans arrive and jump in to help clean and fix the house with Faith and Matt, Faith is grateful but determined to do as much as possible on their own. There's plenty of humor, sizzle and drama in this book to keep the pages turning. Having Faith is book 7 of the Callaghan Brothers Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow! Another FANTASTIC story by Abbie! This story is about the youngest and last single Callaghan brother - Kieran. Faith and her son, Matt, moved to Pine Ridge for a job at the Celtic Goddess. Kieran had found his croie basically the first week - Faith. Faith found it harder to accept that Kieran was her soul mate. Faith is a very strong and stubborn woman. It took her quite a while to see that Kieran was her heart. Facing her past was difficult for her as she learns the truth about her mother. Once she finally lets go of her past, she finally confesses her love to Kieran. He is finally happy that she sees the truth. So happy they found their happy ending. FANTASTIC job Abbie! I would recommend this book!
I've been doing a binge re-read of the Callaghan Brothers, I started because I loved these stories the first time I read them, I'm finishing because they're soothing my soul after a horrific loss over the holiday weekend. Kieran was always my favorite of the brothers for some reason, maybe because he holds his own against six older brothers, or maybe he just felt like someone I could love if he were real and I was much younger. Anyway, Faith is his perfect match and a more independent woman you won't find anywhere. I loved Kieran, Faith and Matt so much, they all feel "real" to me. The writing is amazing and the plot is fantastic. Great job Abbie Zanders.
Kieran is the last Callaghan standing....unattached that is. He's is one goegeous hunk of male, kind, considerate and friendly. He's finally ready to find his croie and she arrives at the most unexpected moment with a man child in tow. Life has not been easy for Faith but she's made it bearable for herself and Matt. Kieran is blindsided by this small, independent, feisty woman. She's as prickly as they. It takes all of his powers of persuasion to get her to accept even the smallest offers of assistance. His persistence pays off because Kieran gets the family he craves.
Kieran finds his croie. Faith is a single mom who moves to town with her teenage son Matt. She's renting a house owned by the Callaghans and when Kieran sees her and the condition of the house, he can't stay away. Kieran knows who she is to him but has his work cut out for him trying to convince her. He's making progress until Faith decides the difference in their socioeconomic statures and her past are insurmountable obstacles and ends things. Reeling Kieran tries to pretend she isn't his croie after rejecting him but when Faith and Matt need him most, he's there to protect them.
Another swoon-worthy book by Abbie Zanders. Kieran is the youngest of the Callaghan brothers. He wants what his brothers have found. As soon as he sees Faith, he knows she is what he has been missing in his life. The "One". Faith is an independent, hard-working, single mom with an amazing teenage son, Matt. While Kieran is working hard to get Faith to trust him and recognize their connection, her past intrudes into their lives and could disrupt any future between them. Loved the strong sense of family and how it affects the characters. This series is one of the best.
I have read one a day and I love each story and have fallen in love the Callahan family. Each story is creative and as unique as the characters themselves. I love that she involves and brings back into the storyline all of the family members so you get an update as to where everyone is and what's going on.
I highly recommend reading from the beginning so you don't miss anything.
Having faith in yourself and your soul mate, family isn't always the ones to pick up the pieces of a broken heart and soul, faith in family isn't always a given they let you down and turn their backs on you, it shouldn't be but is, Matt will be an amazing young man and a great big brother, thank you Abbie for the ride, this so far has been a great story/series and can't wait for more, Dana
