I am a teacher of English as a Second Language. I teach in China now but I have taught in Korea, Japan, and Thailand. I am very familiar with the struggle to teach idioms to English learners and I use a lot of books to help me. Idiom Attack2: Doing Business is one of the most well written and carefully laid out of these books I have ever seen. Peter N. Liptak, Mathew Douma, and Jay Douma obviously know a lot about learning and teaching a second language. This is the Spanish Edition of Idiom Attack and since my Spanish is only at an intermediate level I cannot vouch for the translations but after seeing the care, organization, and professionalism that has so obviously gone into this book I have complete certainty that the Spanish translations are of the highest quality. Real professionalism stands out in a work like this and these guys are so obviously knowledgeable, seasoned professionals.
Idiom Attack! Is colorful easy to read and understand, and thorough in its three-step process of mastering English. There are over three hundred business related idioms covering at least twenty-five topics. Luckily for me, there are even useful comparisons written in Chinese and I have already suggested Idiom Attack to several Chinese businessmen I currently teach privately. Learning idioms can be the most difficult and frustrating part of mastering English and Idiom Attack does a great job of making the process easier and more fun. I eagerly await the Korean and Chinese editions.
