I honestly think that Reni and Renza just weren’t compatible and they both knew it but were trying to make it work anyway. I feel for Reni because 2 years and still not meeting the parents is crazy. Also seeing how his cousins were his age and married, that they all come from happily married families but then Reni acting like he didn’t want to build anything with her is a red flag.
This is the first time it seemed like everything was revolving around Pluto and I couldn’t tell if it was just Reni’s POV or if it was just because Pluto was pregnant. Reni thought she was better than Pluto and Toni because they wanted to be home and take care of their families. Their decisions not to work had literally nothing to do with her, so her judgmental attitude was weird. Plus after everything they went through kudos to them to be able to just take care of their families and nothing else. She was insecure about Pluto and Renza’s relationship and it was weird.
I thought I was gonna have to climb into the book and whoop Renza and ‘Nelle but he was dreaming. ‘Nelle and Reni both talked about lack of clarity/direction with Renza. I’m looking forward to seeing how he grows from this in the upcoming books.
It’s crazy it took all that for Pressure to finally see that they didn’t need any more kids. As the one not carrying the child, he had way too much say in the number of kids they were having.

Renza, Renza, Renza
I was heated at Renza until I found out he was dreaming, because he was still with Reni. I understood Reni, Pluto is my girl, but everything did revolve around her and she didn’t have to keep telling things she knew about Renza just because they lived in the same home and knew some things. Also Reni was right they don’t do anything their lives revolve around their husbands. I don’t really understand that because all the guys mothers were successful. Reni didn’t have to spoil the trip for Renza he didn’t do anything. Love the parents. When Renza had those guys on the floor in Yunique’s apartment and said you ran in my girl spot, I knew it was a wrap for sure for Reni. I thought Lo was crazy, but when Renza dropped Yunique I knew he had some loose screws too. Sha’Nelle wanted anyone she wanted Kelli then Couture and now Renza. I really didn’t like how Renza did Reni he knew he didn’t believe in abortion and didn’t tell her how he was really feeling because she wouldn’t have went through with it. Then he was having unprotected sex with Nelle, but didn’t want any kids, yea right. Lo gave Renza very bad advice. How did Renza think he could go a month or two without talking to Nelle and everything was going to be alright between them. I still don’t like Sha’Nelle and she was wrong for bringing Couture there without making sure she resolved all her issues with Renza.

Renza was the most laid back and chilled out of the crew! He had Reni and wanted to build with her but deep down he knew something was off. Reni went about it wrong with the way she expressed herself but babygirl wasn’t wrong for feeling a type a way. The one scene that made me side eye was when Renza grabbed Pluto’s belly from behind her! Like why are you touching her from the back??? Pluto answering questions during the couples game- wrong as well. Like why you couldn’t just keep quiet and let it play out. I would also feel some type of way if the plans keep changing because you’re pregnant. Like just watch us do something for once. It was a little selfish and maybe she was just trying to piss Reni off so that Renza could see that she wasn’t the one. But yeah Pluto was playing in that lady face lol. Now Renza did try with his whole chest and didn’t cheat! They end up breaking up after that trip.
Nelle went back to her city to check on her granny. Her and Kelli also had some chemistry but they didn’t explore it. Kelli stopped it letting her know that he needed to straighten some things out and didn’t want to put her in the middle of it. He kept it P with her! Then comes along Couture. They vibe and hit it off. Unfortunately he has to take a job out of town and Nelle gets shot and robbed! The Mensah’s pull up and Renza stays behind while she heals. Her and Renza get close and build a friendship. He lays down the folk who did that to her. They decide the explore the connection they have. It’s going great and then Reni lets him know that she’s 9 weeks pregnant. He’s shocked but he lets Nelle know and he tells Reni it’s her decision on how they proceed.
Reni wanted Renza to tell her to keep it. He wanted her to keep it but he said nothing. He sat with her the process and handled the aftercare. It messed him up. Nelle pulls back and he let her. This the one time he should’ve listened to Pressure and pulled up on Nelle. Nelle connects back with Couture and brings him to My’love birthday party. Mind you it’s been 2 months and Nelle never told Renza about her situationship; Just know it’s about to be up and stuck. Nelle should’ve let Couture sit this party out. That man may not make it back to Greystone.

No but for real I read hundreds of books a year and baby when I tell you THIS one was GOOD 😩🔥 From the very beginning it was action because y’all already know Renza got caught… or so we thought 👀 But this was actually a great book because it showed the beginning of Renza and Reni’s relationship…the ups, the downs, the trying, the love, and the reality that sometimes relationships are meant to be and sometimes they’re not. & THE S3X SCENES MY GAWD 🥵🥵🥵

Renza easily became my favorite Trilland MMC. He’s laid-back, attentive, protective, and knows how to listen instead of just reacting. Watching him navigate his relationship with Reni while trying to balance the people he loves made me love his arc even more.
Now Reni? Whew. I understood where some of her feelings were coming from, but there were definitely moments where I felt like she was reading too much into the family’s dynamic. The closer she got to Renza’s world, the more her insecurities started showing, and it created a lot of tension that had me both frustrated and invested.
& While Reni was hating on Pluto, she should have had them eyes peeled back for Shanelle’s ass.
This story is very character-driven. There wasn’t one huge conflict carrying the story, but we got a lot of development, relationship drama, and setup for future books. By the end, I was invested in where everyone is headed next—even if some of the couples didn’t end up where I originally thought they would.

Renzaaaaaa..... wow I thought I was ready for your story but you're more complex than I imagined and im here for it !!! Reni I hate that she's an Aries ima say she's a March one cuz aint no way but some of her characteristics are familiar but not the same haha. She gotta own her mistakes tho for real. I see her being manipulative and planning to get Renza back in the future. Shanelle big dog and big money....I understood and I respect but she is now a rock in a hard place......she playing with fire but she's also fire herself and I think she's the perfect fire for Renza! Kelli once he heals needs to come back he was peaceful and so understanding of Nelle I think the chemistry was beautiful. He was like Couture before Couture.... Couture is sweet and just right but it doesn't always mean they're the one unless you keep choosing them. Tough decisions will have to be made im in for the journey and Sha will always take us on a roller coaster ride of emotions on all ends ..... the spicy scenes always top tier 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Listen I knew Sha was coming to stress me out!! Lo was my one but chileeeee he gon have to move out the way for Renza Mensah cus he didn’t come to play wit not one body!!! I tried to give Reni a fair chance but she just did way too much. Renza kept trying and bending for her and nothing was ever good enough. You can’t ask for something get it and then still complain. I understand wanting someone to tighten up but she lowkey really didn’t know what she wanted and ultimately was gon ruin a good man. I didn’t like how everybody was playing wit my girl Sha’Nelle at first ! She just couldn’t seem to catch a break and I hated that for her cus she such a good person with a good heart. Her and Renza better pull it together and pull it together fast! I love them together and they balance each other out! Renza finna clear everything out and I can’t wait! This book was soooo good! Can’t wait for part 2 !!10/10 highly recommend

I was looking forward to Renza’s story and my girl never disappoints ok! Now I’m just mad I have to wait another month to go back to Trill -Land ! Can I just say that I’ve be secretly hoping Nelle and Renza got together because their chemistry just worked so naturally ! Reni was working my nerves ok lmao like I got it at the beginning then it was like girl can you not see how much this women loves her husband why would she cheat on him and be in his face doing it! Also I love how Kelli stepped away because he knew she deserved more and I just wished he was able to say it directly because leaving her like that was poo! But baby the sex was sexxing ok ! I can’t wait to see how this little party gone go lmao ! He told her he loved her and she walked into his family fucttion standing on business and I love that for her lmao ! This book was very strange Renza act like a little boy the whole book he had a good relationship, but because his girlfriend was requiring him to step up like a man, he put her on a back burner because he had a crush on a girl that was in his friend group so everything his girlfriend did he made excuses to be lack Leicester the whole friend group didn’t hold him accountable in fact, they threw shots at the girlfriend that he let slide. Oh wow, he decided to deal with the girl from the friend group, then went crazy over her all wild treat in his nail ex like trash Dawn in a relationship and left her hanging with no release excuse like she was the problem the whole time he was the problem and a woman in his friend group just wanted their friend to be a part of the group with a man in the group trash

The book was predictable. Was hoping she took a different approach with this one but she made a good girl look like a villian. Reni had every right to feel away and to make her out to be a bad guy I didn’t like that. Knew Renza was gonna be with Shanelle by how Forever Certified ended. Renza continued to play with Reni when he knew what was up..Shanelle was never described as a big girl then all of a sudden she is in Forever Certified. Book more about Shanelle, then anybody else to be honest. If you not part of Pressure and Pluto clique then u won’t last long in the book😒🙄🤣 Kaylo will forever be my favorite cause him n Toni didn’t give a fuck what Pressure or Pluto had to say‼️ only got 3 stars cause the sex scenes was on point🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

OMG, this book was everything. As much as I didn’t want Renza with Sha’Nelle is how much I want him with her now. Reni played my boy so wrong and ended up playing herself. I’m glad Kelli went off to find himself, though I didn’t like the way he played my girl, I totally understand he recognized he wasn’t in the right head space to love her correctly, so he stepped back and I respect that. Come on with part two Fav, cause ‘Nelle done set this man up to die, she know a Renza told her what he would do to any body who touched her!!! Poor ‘Nelle bout to find out just how unhinged her man is!!!!

Renza tried so hard to be who Reni wanted him to be before realizing she didn’t want him to be himself. He wasn’t keeping her a secret he just subconsciously understood she wasn’t for him and wouldn’t fit in with the family. Reni did everything she could to alienate herself from the Mensahs while toying with Renza’s emotions.

Renzzzzzzzzaaaaaa them spicy scenes my goodness lol as far as the relationship between him and Reni I felt like he knew she wasn't for him because everytime he got around Sha'nelle his heart skipped a beat lol the way they laughed and joked I felt they knew the connection was there but didnt want to act on it. Reni definitely messed up the relationship because of her insecurities like girl pluto has a husband already. Reni can only be mad at herself. All around the book was well written i loved every part of it. Great Job Sha 👏🏿 you did it again like you always do

On thee edge of my seat‼️ I need book two STAT. Idk why men can’t communicate. This all could have been handled by Renza saying what was what when Reni was going tbru her situation. And WHY?!?! Is he taking relationship advice from Pressure and Lo. Come on…I don’t have time for the back and forth. They flirted with each other long enough. I need some romance btwn Renza and Nelle…let’s get Couture out the way and get this relationship back on track. #3thehardway

Stop just STOP! B/c as of today book 2 has not been released! There will be 4 books so proceed with caution. The author has dropped some sneak peaks on FB, so the anticipation for book 2 is hella high!

Looks like another love TKO
This book was a joy to read I Love the Way the plot thicken as Reni and Renza love story played out when he still held feelings secretly for Nelle then Reni being to jealous of Pluto was just crazy, the robbery and everything else happened so quickly just me me dive deeper reading Great book cant wait for the other books to fall behind this one

This was such a well written story, I was locked in the whole time! All of Sha Jones’s books are amazing and keep you locked in much like this, the whole time. Although things are looking a lil wonky for Sha’Nelle and Renza, I can’t see them staying away from each other too long. I can’t wait for the second installment!

I forgot I was close to the ending, I'm yelling'awe hell naw!!! Why would she do that man like that!!! She should've talked to Renza and let him know she was moving on!!! Now she gonna screw up the baby's party!!! Can't wait to get the next episode. It should be epic!!!

Certified to Handle You
Renza’s quiet no talking but talks when necessary self gonna mess around and lose Nelle before he fully realizes it. Nelle is not the one to sit around and wait on Renza when she already told him her feelings towards him. Now we have to see how he will handle Couture at the party and ultimately his feelings towards Nelle.
