Oh my!! O Volume 2 turns up the heat again as restraint shatters and desire takes over. Volume 2 is immersive, and unapologetically indulgent, with Ruby Scott’s illustrations bringing each character to life. And now I wait… I’m more than ready to see just how far Volume 3 dares to go!

O: Volume Two continues Ruby Scott's illustrated anthology — eight more portraits, eight more stories, each chapter still opening with the ink drawing that inspired it. If the first volume showed she could hold a collection together, this one shows what she can do when she leans into atmosphere and stakes. The prose is more lyrical than erotica usually gets credit for, and it's the strongest stretch of the series so far.
Three stories carry the book for me. Margot is set in occupied France — a borrowed cottage at the edge of a silent village, two women hiding their bicycles in the dark, finally letting themselves want each other after who knows how long pretending not to. It ends with a twist genuinely shocking enough to reframe everything that came before it.
Genevieve trades the wartime hush for something sharper: a gallery owner on Cathedral Street who can read anyone the second the door closes, except for the one woman she can't stop watching in front of the Carrow drawing.
And Agatha — nuns, unexpectedly — follows a Benedictine abbess on a wind-battered Mediterranean island, a letter locked over her heart since Lauds, and a choice that ends up weighing as much as the rest of her life.
Every story in the collection stands on its own, but these three in particular have the kind of density that makes them worth a re-read down the line. If you want erotica that actually earns the word "literary," this is an easy one to recommend.

Ruby Scott is one of the best sapphic erotica authors there is! O Volume Two is as erotic as it gets! Volume One was just gearing us up for this one! This book introduces us to eight new ladies and eight new worlds. The passion and character chemistry in each short story is off the charts! But they bring us into their worlds and embrace us along with each other. I never would have thought that a short story could bring me to tears, but Ruby had me sobbing. I won’t say which one because I want everyone to experience the emotions for themselves.
Not only does Ruby give us these wonderfully passionate and erotic stories, she provides her beautiful drawings of each of her leading ladies. Each book is like a little treasure…a literary work of art if you will.
Usually I am a novel type reader, not a short story type reader, but I have to say that Ruby Scott has me hooked so deep into this series that I cannot wait for Volume Three!

Reading these books took me straight back to my fanfiction days in the best possible way. You know the ones—short, addictive stories you swear you’ll only read one of before bed, only to realize it’s somehow 2 a.m. That’s exactly the energy these collections capture.
And the range? Absolutely glorious. Different countries, different relationship dynamics, different tropes, different personalities—every story offers something fresh. The writing has enough wit and heart that these stories never feel like they’re just about the spice.
I’m usually not someone who reaches for short story collections, but I’ll pretty much read anything Ruby Scott writes at this point. After finishing both volumes, I’m convinced her talent isn’t just writing incredible chemistry—it’s making me care deeply about characters she only has a handful of pages to introduce.
If erotica with strong characters, clever writing, and incredible range is your thing, these books absolutely deliver. They’re sexy, heartfelt, endlessly entertaining, and after devouring both volumes, I’m already counting down the days until Volumes 3 and 4 are released.

O Volume 2 is every bit as brilliant as Volume 1. I devoured it in two sittings, and once again Ruby Scott reminded me just how glorious women loving women truly are. Whatever shape that love takes, every story feels authentic, emotional, and impossible to put down.
And yes… Ruby Scott can write erotica! 🔥 The chemistry is off the charts, but what I love most is that every intimate scene deepens the characters rather than simply turning up the heat. She has an incredible gift for building tension, writing women who are both fierce and vulnerable, and emotionally wrecking readers in the process. 😅
I adore this series… the stories, the gorgeous hand-drawn character portraits, all of it. Bring on Volume 3!

I’m calling it, Ruby Scott is an absolute genius. I enjoy a short story, but my preference is always a novel that delivers a character you can fully connect with. And then I picked up O Volume Two, having already devoured Volume One. That is now 16 women that I have not only connected with but feel like I know them … inside and out ;)
Ruby Scott’s writing is all about character, heart and heat that is off the charts. The tension that is often built across chapters and chapters of a book, Ruby Scott achieves in a few pages and you are immediately immersed in these snippets of these women’s life’s.

Volume Two is just as amazing as Volume One! Eight new women, eight new perfectly crafted worlds that draw you in instantly. You can't help but connect to these women, sometimes in ways that feel like a shocking revelation and othertimes in ways that feel like a gentle recognition. The heat is scorching, the emotions are raw, and the desire so intense it will leave you wrecked as only the best stories do. Once again Ruby has taken a collection of small details inspired by readers and made absolute magic happen, crafting characters and worlds so vivid and alive they walk right off the page and straight into your heart.

Wow! Volume 1 blew me away with how much detail the author put into each character, location, and story so I knew what to expect with volume 2, or so I thought. 8 more women, 8 more locations and 8 more seriously engaging, enthralling, entertaining, hot, sexy, and completely different short stories that will have you saying just one more page, whilst fanning yourself in a futile attempt to cool down 🔥 🥵 🪭
