The Wedding Blunders
The Wedding Mix-Up
One wrong ship. One tiny cabin. One very serious problem.
I was supposed to board my sister's wedding cruise.
Instead, I am on the wrong ship.
Worse? I'm stuck on it with Theo Bennett: the groom's older brother, a serious, suit-wearing workaholic who looks at me like I'm a natural disaster.
Now we're trapped for four days on a fully booked singles cruise with one tiny cabin.
Between Greek sunsets, family chaos, and the wedding we're both trying not to ruin, I start wondering what if getting on the wrong ship is the only way to find the right man?
THE WEDDING MIX-UP is a sunny, spicy vacation romcom with grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, fake dating, one bed, dual POV, no third-act breakup, and a beautiful HEA guaranteed!

This was such a fun and sweet romance. Lucy and Theo come upon one another when they accidentally get on the wrong ship. But their connection was instant and worked so well between them. This had some laughs and some sweet moments between them. And when they finally got on the right ship, they were more than happy to let their families know that they’d found love with one another.

This is a cute story of two opposite personalities, Lucy and Theo, forced together by unfortunate circumstance and falling in love. The set up is that Lucy’s sister and Theo’s brother are getting married on a cruise but Lucy and Theo end up on the wrong ship. The ship is full and they are forced to share a crew cabin and a bed. While the reader knows that sparks will fly, first we have to get past Theo’s stilted, overly controlling (i.e. make careful plans for everything), and probably autistic personality. Lucy is the opposite, of course, a spontaneous and happy person. But over the course of a couple of days, the two begin to appreciate aspects of each other and the efforts that both are making to accommodate the others’ needs.
The thing I appreciated most in the book was that Blake didn’t feel the need to give a contrived breakup to add to the tension toward the end of the book. There are problems to be overcome but neither lover gets angry and calls off their romance. Mostly what you get in this novel are sweet moments of understanding as the two meld.

The Wedding Mix-Up by Kate J. Blake is a delightful romantic comedy that delivers the grumpy x sunshine trope we all adore. Filled with witty banter, charming characters, and plenty of wedding-day chaos, this story is an entertaining escape from beginning to end. The chemistry between the two main characters is the heart of the novel. The grumpy hero's guarded personality perfectly contrasts with the heroine's optimistic and cheerful outlook, creating a relationship that develops naturally through humorous misunderstandings and heartfelt moments. One of the things that really made this novel shine was its supporting cast. The depth and humor they added enhanced the small-town charm and created a lively atmosphere without overshadowing the main romance. Overall, The Wedding Mix-Up is a fun, feel-good romance that combines humor, romance, and wedding-themed antics into an enjoyable read.

This book was nice, it had fun banter between the characters, and a nice setting that made character development possible.
I really enjoyed the cruise and how their relationship blossomed with the time they spent together.
Lucy was pure sunshine, seeing her interact with everyone amazing. She lit the room when she entered. She was literally pure sunshine. And Theo… I love how he paid attention to her and how he was always so real with her.
I felt like this book was 80% dialog and 20% descriptions and thoughts, and since I really enjoy reading descriptions and getting to know what the characters are feeling and thinking, I kind of didn’t connect as much with the characters.
But other than that, the book was super fun and I loooooved the cooking scene.
A super fun, light read for when you want a sweet romance.

Two complete opposites finding themselves having to share a small space and beautiful sunsets. What could go wrong or right.
Theo is a workaholic, loves a suit and very grumpy. The groom’s brother, Lucy is sunshine and laugher all mixed in let’s see the bright side of things. Also the brides sister. Wrong cruise ship but two people full of chemistry, banter and spice.
I found myself laughing out loud and giggling my way through this book.
Great characters, romance, spice and sunsets. Perfect.

Theo & Lucy were complete opposites, their siblings are getting married on a cruise ship.
Lucy is a dreamer who sees the good in things and seems to flit from one thing to another where Theo Theo is a workaholic and very grumpy. When they are out on the wrong cruise ship t t hey spend time together and both realise they misread the other in many ways.
I absolutely loved the humour and the too and fro banter between them, for me that made the story believable and perfect.

I’d definitely recommend it

Blake delivers a wonderfully well written and captivating romance comedy. Our main characters are Lucy and Theo. A grumpy/sunshine romance read that is full of wedding chaos, witty banter, wonderful chemistry and more! I loved the balance of heart, heat and humor this book gives. A wonderful romance with everything I could want! I can't wait for more from Blake!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how getting on the wrong cruise ship leads to Lucy and Theo falling in love. I liked how she gets him to loosen up and he supports her in her dreams. When they get back on the right ship, the families soon find out about them. Her dreams come true and they are very happy together.

4/5 ⭐️

Thought this was well written and gave a clear idea as to who the characters were. The story line is cute and easy to follow along.

Cute
I actually enjoyed this more than I anticipated. By the end you think Theo is adorable. Might read the next in series.

Great premise. The writing was a little clunky in parts and a few inconsistencies. Overall an enjoyable, light read.

Perfect for grumpy x sunshine lovers, the wedding mix up follows two singles who are both supposed to be boarding a cruise for their retrospective siblings wedding. They accidentally hop on a singles cruise instead.
While predictable, the story was light and enjoyable, if not a little unbelievable all at once
