Doc Savage Hell Below
In this World War II-era thriller, Doc Savage and his cousin Pat Savage travel to Mexico to stop a mad refugee from Hitler's crumbling Third Reich. The fugitive Nazi has established a powerful, secret fortress and is hatching a plot to capture Doc, use a submarine, and create a New World Order. The story kicks off when Doc and his team (including Monk) try to convince the military brass to let them see action, leading them straight into the heart of the Mexican operation.

This one was a rough one to finish.
It lacked a compelling plot, which is par for the course for a WWII story, but usually, Dent's off-the-wall characters keep the story entertaining.
Not this time.
The tale drags and is not interesting at all.
Are there any good parts? Sure, Pat gets her moment to shine, but it's very brief, and Doc barely acknowledges that without her foresight, there wouldn't have been a logical way to track the villains.
There is an appearance by two high-ranking nazis towards the end of the story, but given that we know how history played out, it falls flat.
All-in-all, another flat WWII era story.
