It was better than other books I've read from the author, but it could have been better. The fashion show is nothing but a blip, done in about one page, and I was expecting it to be more important in the story. And it still has my pet peeve of not describing characters at all. Well, we're told two or three characteristics of MCs, but I wouldn't know what they look like if not for the cover art. Secondary characters? I barely know their names. It should have been longer, so the characters, relationships and dramatic arcs could be properly developed. Also, there was a scene where the fMC is called the wrong name.
