Bought by the Billionaire

Does everyone really have a price? Broke, working two jobs, and barely holding it together, the last thing Keela Goodwin needs is another problem. Her latest crisis comes in the form of Simon Magnus, the sexy billionaire whose Ferrari she just rear-ended. Without insurance, she isn't sure how to settle the debt. He has an unorthodox proposition that Keela soundly rejects. Simon wants her, and he gets what he wants, but she intends to show him she is one thing that can't be bought by the billionaire.

A standalone story with no cliffhangers.

Keela and Simon meet under difficult circumstance and the difference between them was very apparent. Keela finds that she had yet another bill to had to her collection and no more time in the day to add an additional job to her work load. Then she finds Simon and his proposal was one she did not take to kindly to. She soon finds that she has to go back to Simon. I enjoyed this one. The narrator did a good job with her English accent and the enthusiasm that I could feel through her voice. The story was just a bit too short, but enjoyable. I hope to hear more from this author and this particular narrator.

Good read. Brooke and Simon eventually had a good thing going on, I just didn't like his initial approach to it. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed this book. It was nice to see that the lead character had a strong sense of who she was. It is a fast read but its worth it.

I was really liking this book until she slept with him.

The way Keela Goodwin and Simon Magnus is a classic romance moment, she hits the back of his car. For Keela it was OMG I just hit a VERY VERY VERY expensive car and have no insurance what the hell am I going to do moment. For Simon it was love at first sight.

First I hate love at first sight stories but I have to accept that they do happen... but what I didn't like was that Keela didn't have that, she had morals and a respect for who and when her first time would be... and I do realize that this was a SHORT STORY but come one... you spend 23 years waiting for the perfect guy to take your virginity... and give up to someone just because he's a good kisser... please. It wasn't like it was the first time he kissed her. Yes it was a mind blowing kiss but still, you waited 23 years... you couldn't wait just one more hour for him to at least take you to his home or at least a clean hotel room where there is a nice comfy bed.... NO why wait, lets just bang on the office sofa. *rollseyes* Sorry but that just ruined the moment for me. Which is a shame cause a REAL good moment.

I Want Her

Glad to read a book that had a strong black woman. I enjoy the way the main man had to work hard for the woman. This book is about a rich guy falling head over in love with a woman who hit his car.
