Just A Kiss

Rate this book
This is an alternate Cover Edition for ASIN: B00FPN0EEY.

Victoria Howe has had enough. After three months of trying to clean up the image of Chicago's newest bad boy and sports commentator Cooper Wilde, Victoria is ready to put her professional reputation on the line and quit. It's either that or go to prison for murder because Cooper's latest night club stunt splashed all over the gossip rags is enough to make her risk being in an orange jumpsuit for the rest of her life.

But when Cooper's boss insist on Victoria being his constant shadow on an upcoming road trip, the sparks that usually fly between the two of them erupts into a wild fire of emotion. Anger, fear, passion and past hurts all join together in this third installment of the Spring Towers Series, allowing readers to finally find out what makes Victoria the strong, independent, protective woman she is.

Can Cooper scale the walls Victoria has built around her over the years and discover the sweet and vulnerable heart on the other side, or will Victoria let her past once again interfere with her happiness?

Being an author was always a dream of mine, one that seemed far reaching and unattainable, and then one day I decided to shoot for the stars and I'm glad I did. I have discovered things about myself during this process and absolutely love what I do. I get to share my stories and pieces of myself with people across the world and I couldn't be happier. When I'm not writing, you can find me playing accountant at my day job and being a part time massage therapist on nights and weekends. That is, of course, when I'm not toting one or all of my three kids off to one activity/sport or another. It's a crazy life, for an even crazier girl, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Except, maybe, to find a few extra hours of reading time. Because we all know: Smut time is the best time!

Amazing third book in the Spring Towers Series. Victoria's past is heart wrenching. The walls she shields herself with strike true. Cooper's bad boy persona is quickly dispelled and in place is a sweet but faulty man. He is far from perfect, but I love that even at the worst moments of their relationship he decides not to give up on Vicki. She is too precious to him. As Victoria starts to self destruct, he turns to her sister trusting her to help the woman he loves. He understands Stella is the one to help Vicki face the nightmare she hides from. He is willing to wait for her to come to him when she is ready, proving that her healing is more important than his desires or ego. Victoria's strength and determination to not let her past and fear rule her life are wonderful. She embraces her future with Cooper while openly dealing with her past. A sweet satisfying ending.

I really loved this love story. It was a easy read I needed. Everything moved together to make a great book. Victoria trying to put her life together and move forward was sad but needed. I think Cooper was just what she needed. I am glad they have found each other. It was nice to see everyone we love from the past two books. I can't wait to read Amy's story. Although I am afraid of her moving out with everything going on with mom.

There are so many feeling I feel when I think about Just A Kiss, such as Worth Waiting For, Amazing, A Must Read, I LOVE COOPER!, EMOTIONAL, etc…

I just love this story so much. I believe Morgan Rayne did take a different approach with the 3rd addition to Spring Towers series and she did a wonderful job!

Victoria was such a spit fire, kick your ass, independent woman in the first two Spring Towers stories and we finally were able to meet Victoria and it was well worth the wait, let me tell you! I loved that not only is Victoria such an amazing woman but she has such a dark, sad secret that is keeping her from falling in love with the perfect man, Cooper Wilde (fanning myself, yummy!)! I know Cooper is a pain in the ass in the beginning, but how can you not immediately fall in love with him?! Not only does he have his own secrets, he wants to make himself better for Victoria, a woman that he disliked in the beginning and now will not stop fighting for.

I seriously could go on and on about all of things that I just truly loved about this story, but then I would be just giving the whole book away and I can’t do that…so…I am going to tell anyone reading this review that if you have not read A Different Kind Of Fairy Tale, Let Me Love You, you are missing out…but if you pass up reading Just A Kiss you are crazy! This series is great and I think everyone would love them! So what are you waiting for? Go & READ!

This is the third book in this series and all have been amazing. This one seems so much more intense. I love the feistiness and spitfire attitude of Victoria. She is such a strong independent female lead. But we find out she is covering a very dark soul. That was so sad to learn about. Then there is Cooper. A highly attractive man who seems so shallow at first, but is really very sensitive and caring. Their insight to each other is very thrilling. Their chemistry is on fire and I love the way they complete each other. Such a heartwarming story with a sweet happy ever after. I cannot wait to see their update in the next book.

Great job Morgan! I know this book had a few set backs for you but it was well worth the wait. Cooper and Victoria are perfect for each other. They antagonize the hell out of each but but the attraction was obvious. Cooper needed to crack through the granite shell Victoria sealed her heart with it he was the only one to do it. I was pissing myself laughing when Cooper busted out his mad singing skills. I love a good spice girl duet sequence. Of course this book has a happy ending but that makes this series one of my favorites for sure.

A good book but I felt like it was not worth the wait. Getting to know Cooper and Victoria was sort of a rushed ride to me. Their love literally happened on like a week and a half. Most of their feelings for each other were based on events that as a reader I felt like I was just hearing about. I did love how each character had a juicy backstory that they over came. I just felt let down because I was expecting more from the novel based off the first two. I sincerely hope the next one will live up to those standards I'm use to from Morgan.

I love Morgan's book. She tells the story in a way that make it possible to imagine ourselves in the characters shoes. This book is a story that I'm sure a lot of women can relate to. I recommend this as a must read for any women who's been betrayed and fought back to heal her broken heart and open herself up to new possibilities.

LOVED this whole Spring Tower Series. This is the third book from the series. The 4th book says coming soon and I'll make sure I keep checking back to see when that is. Loved the Coop and Victoria characters from the earlier books and so glad I got to see how their story played out. Such a great series of books.

Beautiful & Romantic

I am a sucker for romance and this took the bait. I instantly fell in love with Book 1 and with Book 2. Now this one, took me places I didn't imagined before! <3 If you love a good romance story, pick this one up and I promise you wouldn't want to put it back down till the last page! <3!

I was really excited when Victoria and Cooper's book finally arrived. It is a really great series. Just wished that information regarding San Fran was more accurate as you do not cross the Golden Gate Bridge to get in to downtown from the airport. But other than that is was a good read!

I enjoyed this one, but the grammar was so awful, that for me it was a distraction from the story. This is a cute series, with likable characters, and because they are inexpensive reads, I will read the next one. However, editing needs to be a priority!

I absolutely live the spring towers series and love hearing the back stories and the heart wrenching details of every event but this book didn't give you much and it was all rushed and I'm kind off hoping somehow you can edit this book to make it go to its full potential .. Disappointed.

The characters & storyline were great, but the whole thing felt a little rushed especially toward the end. Good book, but I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first two.
