This was a free Kindle download.

I had read one of the Lavender series and thought I would try another of her books (but not the same series). Bartholomew is very consistent. Her writing is concise but she still develops the characters fully and carries the plot from point to point. It is another quick, enjoyable read.

Different

This was a good story. Sometimes confusing but in the end the confusion was explained. We all have different journeys to take to get where we need to be, and lots of emotions to go through to get there this is one of those stories told in a way to make it good.
