So this book was pure porn :D I don't normally read "porn books" anymore but once in a while I enjoy a good one and when Moxie Darling asked me if I would like an arc for her novella I read the blurb and suddenly I was in the mood for some kinky stuff :P
And men it was some kink :P The author warns us that this book "contains explicit sex scenes, rough sex, ménage situations, sex with strangers" and despite the fact that this type of novels are usually pretty predictable and come on...read the title :P...this one managed somehow to surprise me a little.
How?
Well first off all I was not expecting her to be propositioned by two men who where and for one of them to be actually a !!!
But don't worry...there is no and no ménage so it's not that dirty :P
Once we start the book we get a little bit of this...
And a little bit of that...
And lets not forget some of this too :D
Not necessarily in that order :P
So when you find yourself in need of something a little filthy you know where to look ;)

4 '48 pages of pure smut' Stars.
First of all let me say that the title of the book 'Clover' is a lot better than 'Penetrated on Ponetown' with that title I would have skipped it. Sorry but it is the truth.
Clover is out in the Boons to teach young children to read but gets lost and she runs out of petrol. Until she stumbles across a cabin with an older man and his son. They are mountain men and they don't get a lot of women out in the sticks.
So they have a deal, a week of sexual smuttiness in exchange for petrol. I guess it is slightly taboo with Clover getting it on with the father and the son. But all in all I enjoyed it very much.
It is hard to write a review for a novella of 48 pages.

3.5+ RATING- Short and sexy erotic story. Not a lot to work with because of length but the writing was good and the steamy bits well done. Not what I was expecting and I mean that in a good way. This is a new to me author but one I'll be following going forward.

This was a quick, dirty, slightly taboo read that involves a lost woman, a dirty older man and his virgin son.

This was a short quick somewhat taboo read that I liked. Clover found herself stranded while driving through West Virginia on her first World Literacy assignment when she got lost and run out of gas. When Clover comes across Jim he offers to trade gas for sex with him and his son. This book had some very hot sex scenes and the father and son menage was not shocking to me. This book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar I wish that it was longer. This is the first book in a new series for me and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This was a smutty short story about a woman who's stranded in the woods and agrees to trade sexual favours for a way home.
I was really in the mood for something purely smutty but unfortunately this just didn't do anything for me. There wasn't anything wrong with the story itself it just wasn't to my taste. I prefer dominant men and subby women and that just wasn't the case here.
If you enjoy the student/ teacher trope with a strong heroine then this might be for you, unfortunately it wasn't my cup of tea.

This was different, and very hot. Basically a hot female ends up being a willing sex slave for a hillbilly father and son. The father is attempting to give his adult son a sexual education, and our heroine is more than willing to play teacher. The storyline is slightly farfetched, but this is fantasy after all and still very arousing. If you like things a little different in your erotica this is for you. This is one of those fantasies some women have but probably don't admit to having very often, so give this a shot if you want to walk on the wild side.
I will also add that as a male, I think this will appeal to both male and female readers. So if you guys are having trouble finding erotica to suit you, try this one out.

Clover was a well written, steamy novella. Clover is stranded in the middle of nowhere. She makes a mutually beneficial deal with a stranger who offers her help. The book surprised me in a good way. The author builds vivid characters and there is unexpected romance as well. It has the elements of fantasy and Clover is definitely a better title.

However - for those who love erotica , and a bit of kink - this book is filled with dam smoking hot sex scenes, sexy mountain men and an array of all things hot, raunchy and dam right delightful. Even a tad bit of romance who like there sexy stories with that edge of sweetness.
A quick read at just under 50 pages, but enough to get your loins tingling and the pages briskly turning. The story was well written and kept me engaged through the entire story. I enjoyed the authors writing style and the way she wasn't afraid to hold back on the goodies. :D
A little indepth with descriptions in the intial start but otherwise , my only complaint I wanted more haha.
Clover is a open minded woman, with a penance for good sex, spur of the moment scenerios and hot dominant sexual men.
I enjoyed all the characters in this short novella. The older dad, and sexy son made quiet the enjoyable menage :D The combination of innocence and maturity made this read - enticing and dam right hot !

Let me preface this review by saying i was aware this book didn't focus on much else besides sex prior to reading it, in fact i was kind of excited to read it because of this fact.
SO, Clover by Moxie darling is the story of a woman named clover who has the bad luck of breaking down in the middle of absolute nowhere on a way to a town that is...isolated... to say the least. As luck would have it, she comes across a house on some property. Here's where it gets good, the house is inhabited by a relatively good looking man and his family. I'm not going to ruin the story by saying how this turns sexual or the situation they all get into (because you find out about it in the first few pages), but what i will tell you is that if you are looking for a great erotica novella, this is it. It's HOT! but not just hot, its evocative and the wording is perfection. It is probably one of the better just erotica books I've read, i definitely struggled with trying to keep still while reading, it had rough sex, hot sex, standing sex, fast and slow sex, it had a bit of everything. Not that i'm complaining a single bit.
This isn't a novella you read for a deep emotional connection to the characters, its one to get yourself all hot and bothered and enjoy some light, well written erotica. Fair warning, its got a little taboo aspect ,but nothing in my opinion that isn't worth reading, in fact i think it enhances the steaminess of the book.
So glad i got to read this, i loved it!!!

So when I review a book vs just reading one, 2 things happen A) As far as stars on good reads go I am a little easier going and B) I am very conscience to rate books for what they are not what I want them to be. This is the author’s story to tell, and you can’t be mad if that story just isn’t your thing. On the flip side what I love about reading in general is that you can make up your own ending / background etc.. So for me this book was like walking in on someone’s dream. Dreams often times don’t give you the backstory on why someone would be running out of gas in the middle of some mountain men that need a little action. It just happens. Now in real life I would say cover is NUTS, run run as fast as you can. But when you are in a dream, even some of the craziest things make totally sense. Like agreeing to stay and pleasure a man and his son who need a little love. For that reason alone I am going to take the entire book as a dream. I am adding a chapter that has clover waking up feeling satisfied and a little excited, where she walks into town meets the real Jim and the story blossoms from there; on a normal level. With y extra pieces, this is just one part to their entire story. So my rating is based on that. If you want a book that is well written and describes what I would consider to be a very erotic dream then this is for you. If you have to have the backstory and everything laid out, and you don’t just want the “good scenes” but everything, this may not be the right one.

Clover, a free spirit raised in a hippie commune, runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere. As she is walking for help, she stumbles upon a cabin inhabited by Jim and Eustice. Jim offers to fill her gas tank if she’ll let him and his son use her for sex for a week. Seeing as they live out in the boondocks, Eustice hasn’t even had an opportunity to be with a woman, so it’s Clover’s job to teach him while his father gets a little on the side.
Cue the banjo from Deliverance.
There is just so much wrong with this story. The writing was decent, but I cannot imagine a scenario where being caught in the middle of nowhere by some mountain folk who wanted to bone me would turn me on (except maybe if one of the country bumpkins starving for a woman’s touch included Chris Hemsworth or Scott Eastwood … then maybe).
I’m going through a smutty phase, and this was a Kindle freebie, so I thought why not? Now I’m questioning why. Just doesn’t do it for me.

On her way to her destination, she gets lost and her car eventually breaks down when she runs out of gas. Clover is herself lost, on foot, and carrying books while searching for someone to help get her car back on the road. Instead of finding a store, she runs into two burly mountain men who are happy to assist her in exchange for a week of sex.
This was a short read that introduces everyone to the characters in the series. If you are looking for some burly lumberjack-like mountain men in your romance collection, this is a novella that will interest you. As an erotica novella, the story is pretty straight forward: sex, sex, and more sex. However, it’s well written and Clover’s free spirit hippy life and Jim and Eustace’s hardworking mountain men life out in the boonies are floating in the story. If you’re looking for a story that includes a woman in control and more than one character having a sexual awakening of sorts, this is a series opener for you.

I received this book for an honest review from the author. The book is definitely smut. It goes from 0 to a 100 really quickly. The main character Clover is a hippie raised love child who isn't afraid of life and the experience it throws to you. Stranded in the hill of west bubba West Virginia she must exchange her body for safety and doesn't bat an eye when the offer of sex for gas to help her make it to her destination. The sex and the two male leads are interesting duo. Want something taboo and fun for the imagination pick it up.

I loved this book! Short, sweet and hot! I'm looking forward to the 2nd part for sure. The characters are relatable and even in a short novella, I found myself drawn to them and wanting to know what happens next. This novella is very well written, no errors that I can see. Professionally done...not like you see in many novellas and even many indie novels these days.

Outreach program.
She was headed for the Barlows’ house to teach their 3 young children about library fundamentals & type of books they should be interested in & read.
She had been traveling for 3 hrs. & turned off on Ponetown Rd. Her Ford Explorer conked out.
Now on foot Clover finally came to a cabin.
She asked Jim (father) if he had a phone, nope, gas, he wanted to do some bartering for himself & Eustace (26, son).
At Harmony Acres (Hippie commune) open sex was quite prevalent.
Will Clover ever get to the Barlows’ house?
I watched a porn movie back in my teen days it was Herkimer & the bucket cows.

A very sexy book cover, great font & writing style. Wow, a very well written steamy hot West Virginia erotic novella book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great W.V. (Hillbilly) porn movie, or paid-per-view mini TV series. No beating around the bush, right to the point. It kind of grew on me after a while so I will have to rate it at 5 stars.

Clover is on her way to help some kids for a literary outreach program when she gets lost and runs out of gas. She walks a couple of miles before finding a cute but older cabin. There she meets Jim and his twenty-six year old son Eustace. Jim has a deal for her. He'll give her the gas she needs if she'll agree to stay with he and Eustace for a week and allow her body to be payment. Clover was raised in a commune and has always been free spirited about sex, so she agrees. Where Jim is strong and rough, Eustace is sweet and tender. He's also a virgin and Clover discovers she enjoys being his teacher.
While this story was very short, it was also very hot and sweet. Eustace is a sweetheart and was so taken with Clover. He's a simple country boy and treats her with respect and tenderness. Jim wasn't the snuggle type, but he was also kind to Clover in his own way and wanted his son happy. Even though Clover was with both men, it doesn't come across as creepy at all. In the end, your left with the feeling that Eustace and Clover might be starting something that'll last.
This is a quick but hot little short story told from Clover's POV. The writing was really good and I'll be reading more from this author in the future.

All in all, I find it actually realistic. Well, why not! Location: the middle of nowhere, literally. Two men, expectedly father and son. No technology nothing. So propositiong is even really polite if you ask me. One coincidential factor was Clover's background. I was kind of like; hmm, yeah, alright. But I understand that the author would need something of this kind. So it was ok.
The building of the plot was at times very quick, and at times much slower. I admit I had minor difficulty adapting to it. But I guess its part of the nature of novella.
Personally I'm all about nature. What it wants/requests, it gets. Can also relate how she finds the life there very peaceful, despite the lack of certain things we take for granted in civilized world.

Wickedly raunchy! If you’re looking for a quick and steamy read this novella will definitely fill your needs. The story is well written and the author even manages to add a bit of romance which caught me off guard.
The story centers around the main character Clover, stranded in the middle of nowhere. She is offered shelter and gas for a week of carnal sex acts by a man named Jim, who desires for her to be his son’s first. The sex scenes are, if I am to be honest, very hot. The author was on point as she wrote them and left little to the imagination. I found the relationship between Clover and the two men very interestingly written and not a second of it made me uncomfortable.
There is chemistry between Clover and the son from the moment she is introduced to him, something I very much liked. Though this tale is very far-fetched and taboo, it is written in a way that keeps you turning the pages. I look forward to the rest of the backwoods series.

This is a really well written erotic novella. The sex scenes were steamy and very detailed. I wasn't a huge fan of the father/son, teacher/student, tag team. Though the subject matter was taboo it wasn't a problem. However, the narration was a big turn off. The way the narrator voiced the male characters made them both sound incredibly old and in no way sexy. She may have been going for backwoods hillbilly but that's not what was expressed. Overall a male narrator may have been a better choice for this book.
I have the next novella in the series, Willow, and will definitely give it a try but I might go with the kindle edition instead since it has the same narrator.

I received this book for an honest review.
This is not my normal genre, so I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It was very well written, in my opinion. Yes, there is a lot of sex in it - but you are warned of that before ever purchasing it. Is the story realistic? Well, it seems to be as realistic as our fantasies allow. I have read several books of this nature, and most tend to never give a lot of life to their characters. I actually enjoyed these characters, finding them built up enough to get a good feel for them, without losing the storyline.
I would absolutely read more by Moxie. Bravo!

ARC for an honest review!
This novella was pretty steamy! I enjoyed the taboo relationship and the setup (no one can hear you scream in these woods). No unnecessary filler details, but of course ,enough to pull you into the story. Greatly appreciated by me when I'm reading short erotica.. which I read for research purposes -cough ;). It definitely made me curious to discover what will happen next and how these relationships evolve. Would have liked for the scenes to be longer!

At first, I thought oh dear, this will gross me out but I found myself getting lured into the story. It is a short taboo story but it is very much a fantasy and you can escape away with the story. This is my first m/f/m and I enjoyed it. The author made this taboo into something light-heartened and enjoyable with a few hot scenes thrown into good measure. I will definitely read more future work by this author.

The situation Clover finds herself in is pretty hot, with its taboo twist and backwoods creepiness. My brain had an internal banjo playing through some of it, and I even momentarily wondered if this would turn into erotic horror. It didn't. But it could have. That's talented writing to hold the reader on edge like that in a short story.
I really like all three characters, and am interested in further stories from this author.

This novella is a 3.5 star read for me. There were some very hot scenes that were well written. The story itself was a good concept however I feel that it could have been expanded a longer novella or short novel. This particular story has a taboo concept and while I enjoy taboo this one just did not appeal to me. Over all this is a novella worth reading if you are looking for a quick hot book!

'Penetrated on Ponetown' is an unapologetic excursion into erotica. Much like the elder of Clover's father and son educational contingent, the story grabs you and cruises right to the point with very little in the way of foreplay. A very solid debut effort from Moxie Darling. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment in the series.
