When I discovered that Nami was born into royalty, I knew that she was right. Our worlds didn't belong together. We needed to move on. The problem was, I didn't know if I could.
Reed Stirling is trying hard to forget ever meeting the exotic princess who crossed his path in Europe, but as much as he's trying, he can't. As he heads back to Philadelphia, he knows he has a choice to make, a choice that is going to change the direction of his life forever.
All Nami Carr wanted was to experience a couple days like a normal person. She'd told herself that she could let Reed go and focus on her duty for her country. Now, she isn't so sure.

Oh, my goodness she left us hanging, and I can't wait to get my hands on volume three. I loved the first book, and this was just as good if not better.
Volume 2 picks up where the last one left off, and yes, you need to start with Volume 1. If you remember, Nami left while Reed was sleeping to go home and do her duties as the crown princess.
Both Reed and Nami flounder in life once they are no longer together. They deny their feelings for each other. Luckily that only lasts a few weeks when Reed decides true love is worth fighting for.
I love how earnest Reed is, how even as a recovering playboy he finally accepts his feelings for Nami and will do anything he can to get her back.
Nami on the other hand feels it is her duty to marry her arranged betrothed, Tanek. Tanek is one of the best villains I've ever seen in a romance novel. He hides his malicious intentions behind threats. He plays the perfect future king in public, but behind closed doors evil lurks, and unfortunately, Nami is the recipient.
Nami has always been strong even when she was doing as her parents wished with little dispute. In the beginning of this volume she tries to exercise her free will, but that's quickly squashed. Nami was strong, doing what she felt was right, and Tanek managed to crush her self-esteem and hopes in a matter of days.
I love Nami and Reed, and I so very much want them to get back together. I love that Reed is willing to give up absolutely everything for love. We just need Nami to be willing to do the same. I don't agree with all of her choices and some make me downright mad. It appears her fear is keeping her from doing what she should do. I fear that keeping quiet will only lead to more problems, and I wish she would see that.
M.S. Parker sucks us in, and I can't read fast enough. I can't wait to see how this saga ends. The story is getting better page by page... and then it ends. It leaves us hanging, and I feel so bereft! I want more, and I want it now. With that being said, I think you can tell I love this story.
The last thing that Nami wanted to do was leave Reed and go back home to prepare for her arranged marriage but she couldn't exactly do what she wanted to do otherwise it would have been her sister that would be getting married as soon as she turned eighteen. Ever since Nami met Reed she could feel something for him but couldn't exactly work out what it was, however since she walked out of the hotel room without a second glance, she hasn't been able to forget him no matter what. So since she arrived back home she has pretty much been under house arrest because her parents don't want her doing anything that they haven't approved off. However after about nearly three weeks of her moping about in her room her parents decide to surprise her by stating that she can no longer be in her room unless stated and that she is to get ready and changed so that she can meet her new husband to be.
Reed couldn't believe it when he realised that Nami had walked out the next morning, he wanted to go and stop her but by the time he actually decided to get up and move it was way too late. So instead the easiest thing for him that he thought would be best would be to go over the villa that his parents own, and pretty much go out each night and find a new girl that he can just sleep around with for the night. However when he happens to go back home for a wedding that his parents have been invited to he ends up speaking with Piper and she gives him some advice that he should go and find the girl he loves and fight for her.
Reed finally manages to locate her but when he gets there he is almost as confused as she is but that doesn't stop her from sneaking him into her home and sleeping with him for the night. However things don't exactly turn out right the next morning as Nami declares that it was a mistake and that he must leave her for good, even though Reed tries his hardest to get her to go with her heart he knows that he's lost the battle. Now with the marriage in place for Saturday it's hurting both of them but will Nami be able to go through with it and be with the man she loves or will she stick with what her parents have said and marry the guy who clearly is just using her. Also will Reed stick around or will he choose to see the wedding.
I honestly feel for Nami as she has found love but she isn't allowed to go through with what her heart wants, and that she must do what she can so that no harm comes to her younger sister. I honestly hope that you love Nami as much as I do as she isn't like any of the other characters that I have read about, I hope that she can get the happy ending that she deserves.
This is the second volume in the series and should be read in order.
Reed thought he could move on from the short time he had with Nami, but no amount of alcohol or women can eraser her from his memories. After getting a desperate call from his parents which has him on a flight back home, Reed makes decisions for his life that is finally focusing on what he wants for his future. The alpha male that he is takes the good advice he was given and he stands up for himself, which has him leaving his parents and sister to deal with the mess they expected him to clean up.
Nami is a strong woman with value and integrity. She holds these dear to her heart as this is what she needs to lead her country. She’s always known what is expected from her and she feels that she’s ready to be Queen and handle all the responsibilities that come with it. Her rebellious side comes out as Nami does everything she can think of to try to forget Reed Stirling but nothing is working. After formally meeting her soon-to-be husband Nami thinks she has everything under control, but what she didn’t expect was he wanted much more than just crown and was willing to hurt her and anyone she loves to get to it.
I was gifted this book in exchanged for an honest review and M.S. Parker has taken things to a whole new level. She has molded these character in a way that you feel what they feel. The things Nami is going through at home and how she hides what’s happening from everyone is so real that I had a hard time getting through part of the story as I wanted to get into the book and help her out. Nami is such a strong woman as she deals with the fact she has no say in how her life will turn out. She deals with it as well as can be expected for a princess and future Queen and doesn't run when the going gets tough. I was drawn in by how Reed felt after seeing Nami again and everything he goes through with her and his family. We’ve read what Reed has gone through in the Sinful Desires series and what he’s lost but he doesn’t let that rule his life. He actually embraces it and moves on to focus on what he wants for his future. A lot of times there is a happily ever after and characters just have to get through a tough time in their life but this part of the series is nothing like that. This is one of M.S. Parker best books yet and I can’t wait to find out what happens next for these two.

What a fantastic book!!!! I mean it is M.S. Parker so I pretty much knew it would be, but I was not expecting this!!! So emotional and after struggling with bad allergies adding more liquid to my sinuses wasn’t great but I couldn’t not read it!!! I mean….really? One of my top 10’s for 2015 for sure!!
Reed is a strange breed for me. He’s rich, has the correct social parents, good looking, charming and hates almost all of his life. He’s had everything he’s ever wanted and done everything too. He’s got the women he’s wanted and a few he didn’t. But he’s empty. Nothing feels right to him. He’s leaving everything behind……going on a big vacay in Europe to find himself. What he finds is certainly not what he’s expecting.
Nami is everything every other woman Reed has ever met is not. She’s more. So much more. More beautiful. More intellegent. More real. She’s also royalty. She is a princess. She has a duty to fulfill. However, for an entire day (and maybe a bit more) she is his and he has no clue who she is. This is all the better since she can be herself and she can know that someone did want her for herself. Not her title or money or to one day have a king as a son. For her. But she’s going to have to give him up. It can’t work, right? I mean she has a kingdom to run.
OMG! Just typing that makes me want to read it again!!! I am dying because as soon as I finished this book I bought the 2nd one!!! That doesn’t sound like a shock but as a blogger we get advanced copies and therefore we wait for the next book. Not in this case……I couldn’t wait!!!! So yes - I’ve read book 2 and it’s amazing too!!!! Except the end - the cliffhanger has killed me!!! As good as book 1 is OMG!!! book 2!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!
EXOTIC DESIRES VOL II was an outstanding, phenomenal read, but has still left my heart in shattered pieces for my Reed, after reading volume one I felt that Reed was not going to get his happily ever after and after reading volume two I feel it even more and I wish I could open the pages of the book and give myself to him.
The story is this book is very well written and the plot is fast paced and will keep you guessing and yelling at your kindle till the very last page when it says to be continued in volume three, at which point your kindle will take a ride across the room while you scream NOOOOOOO IT CANT END THERE!!!!!!! And let me tell you the characters in this book are very well written and swoon worthy when talking about my Reed, and Nami who has captured Reeds heart but she is not ready to giver hers fully to Reed.
In this installment we will see a man give up everything to follow his heart to the love of his life, and we will see the women turn him away time and time again as she is doing what she feels is right for her country. In this book we will also see the darker side of the women's betrothed when he shows his true colors of not being the man he claims to be to her parents. Will it be too late will Reed get the girl or will he be left alone again???
EXOTIC DESIRES VOL II picks up right where volume one left off, and anything the has been written by M.S. Parker is a must read, you will never be disappointed, other than the occasional broken heart for her characters. I would give EXOTIC DESIRES VOL II 5/5 amazing stars and will be tuning in the for the third and final volume and praying for Reed and a happily ever after.
I am a huge M.S. Parker fan and I have never been shy about letting everyone know that but I must say that I am so glad the decision was made to write a series about Reed. I just love him as a character he is so different from everyone else that he has grown up with in the social circles in Philadelphia, he is very loving he gives back despite all of the dysfunctional issues of his family he still strives to ensure that his family is cared for. I really hope that Reed gets his Happily Ever After in this series though because he has had some massive challenges thrown his way and he has not backed down once. Reed knows what he wants and he is not going to let it go without a fight. Nami's character is so incredibly strong and independent and it is utterly heartbreaking to see her go through the trials and tribulations she is tasked with in this book to see her broken and beaten emotionally leaves you feeling the same way as a reader.
M.S. Parker has definitely put me through the ringer with this one my emotions have been on a non stop emotional roller coaster ride I have felt every single emotion these two have gone through the pain, anguish, sadness, joy, you name it and I have felt it that is what makes this series so absolutely incredible the talent that M.S. Parker brings to the table and conveys in her writing to her readers is just indescribable. If I could give this book let only this series so far more than 5 stars would but I cannot so 5 is what you've got! Don't waste anymore time get to reading this series now and you will see exactly what I mean. Be warned though this is one hot steamy amazing work of art! Keep them coming M.S. Parker!
Poor Reed , I was devastated when book 1 ended , he has no luck in love. He gets so close and then is left with this horrible emptiness that he fills with booze and chicks. This isn't helping now though. Nami has wormed her way in and he cannot let her go. Thinking that going home is a solution he is quick to learn that is just a ton more stress. His parents are struggling , the family company not doing well and Reed honestly has no desire to deal with any of this. He decides to find out all he can about Nami and let's just say once Reed is set on doing something he doesn't back down !!
Nami has not been happy about being home. She has been defiant and totally out of control. Sadly her activities are almost as bad as Reed's. Now on the verge of meeting her soon to be husband she is faced with the fact that her life is not her own and she has no choice. Tanek is not a nice person but he pretends real well in front of everyone. When faced with Reed's arrival will Nami welcome him with open arms or will it be too late ??
Nami and Reed have an amazing connection but sadly it is not in the cards for them to be together. Reed is not about to give up , he is losing hope quickly but in his heart he knows she is the one. It is devastating to read what Nami is going through with Tanek. I hope that Reed can save her in time and that they will get their HEA !!
This story was one that I didn’t know what it was going to be about going in to it. I decided to read this on because it was from M. S Parker. I’ve read some of her work in the past and have always enjoyed it. This one was no different.
You are pulled in to a story of guy that is trying to find his place in life after being under his parents influence all his life. He has made some pretty bad choices in life and is now facing them. He comes to meet someone that turns his world upside down and that he knows is worth so much more. After Reed and Nami spend a day of just being normal people together without that the influences of their parents, these two know there is something special between them that can’t be carried any further then their one normal day.
These two burns the pages up and leave you wanting so much more for them. Will there ever be a chance for them to be more than just a fun couple days of fun or will duty and life keep them from finding their true happiness.
This is an amazing hot read that I could not put down and I’m eagerly awaiting the next part of the story.
*An ARC was provided in exchange of an honest review*
Why does M.S Parker play with my emotions???? It's like a love/hate relationship, I think. I LOVE her books but I hate the turmoil they put me through...nah, Just kidding! I freakin love that M.S Parker can have me hanging off of her every word!! It never fails!! And here we go with the continuation of Reed and Nami's journey. Can I just keep Reed???? PLEASE!!!! I'll take him without a second thought. My heart is breaking for him... & Nami... Well, I kinda wanna slap her... Just a little. And the ending... OMG!!! Why?!?!?! Why did it have to end so soon & leave me yearning for more?!?! Gahhhh! If my kindle could talk it would probably say that I needed to chill and stop yelling at it! Lol
Can't wait for the next volume to this AMAZING story!!! And if you happen to be within the small % of people hidden under a rock who have not read this or any other series by M.S. Parker... Well, I feel sorry for you because you are beyond missing out!!
The second book in the series was really a heartbreaker. Reed not knowing which end is up after Nami goes back to her country, he travels around Europe for a few weeks and is really hurting. His life is upside down to say the least. He decides he must face the problems with his parents and the family business and goes back to the states. Meanwhile back at the palace, Nami is fighting her own battles with her parents and the man they picked out for her to marry. She is also sick in her heart because she is missing the love she has for Reed, but her upbringing and obligation to her parents and country has her going through the motions of her upcoming wedding in a trance. Reed finally finds out what country Nami is from and goes there in hopes of stopping the wedding from taking place. There are many decisions and heartache for both the characters in this second book. Can Reed stop the wedding and what does he see on Nami that fills him with rage!!! Can't wait for Book Three!! Great story.
This book picks up where book one left off. This is not a standalone. It does end on a cliffhanger. You've been warned . . .
And diving back in to Nami and Reed's story, they have gone their separate ways thought they still long for each other. Nami is still promised to another man and Reed has gone back to the States. But Reed wants Nami so on a whim, he decides he is going to go after the woman he wants and claim her. It is not going to be easy and there will be obstacles...
Oh Reed stepped up to the plate for me in this book. I am totally rooting for these two. I feel for Nami because I can see the rebellion and disdain in her yet she complies because she feels obligated. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to see what happens with Nami and Reed!
Man, I just love Reed....I know he was kind of a douchbag in Sinful Desires, but I always knew he was a better guy than he came off as with Piper...I was so sad at his ending and hoped to get to read about him again. I was elated to hear about Exotic Desires with Reed...loved the 1st story and the 2nd is just as great!!! I love how Reed has become a better man and wants to be a better person. Love how he is standing up to his parents and taking control of his life and what he wants. He knows he & Nami can't be together due to her obligations to her family but he can't help it...he knows they have something special, something he has never felt before. But Nami is so committed to her family & keeping her sister from having to take over her family obligations, she won't let herself be with Reed...instead marrying the man she has been betrothed to...too bad the husband is not what he seems...I love Ms. Parkers stories and how fast she puts them out!!! I can't wait for #3!!!!
This story picks up where the previous book leaves off.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Exotic Desires Vol. 1 (Exotic Desires #1)
I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was able to connect to the characters. The story has laughs, steamy naught fun, and secrets.
After Nami goes back to her country you get a feel for her life there. You have to see her turn him away again and again. Will Reed continue to fight for her or just let her go? Will she be happier with the life she has to live in her country? Or will she want for Reed forever even when she is with another? Will her arranged marriage be with a person like Reed or a monster?
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.
After Nami is taken back to her country, Reed can't get her out of his head - he as never felt this way about anyone - not even Piper it would seem. After being forced to head back home to Philadelphia to deal with his parents financial troubles, it is there that he decided to jack it all and head off in search for Nami.
He arrives on the island of Saja with nothing more than his suitcase and a hope that he can have Nami.
Nami has been pining for Reed ever since they met, but she is still intent on following through with her arranged marriage, and after encountering what her new husband will be like I can't help but feel for her.
He is nothing like Reed and all he wants is to be King and he will do anything to get that, including hurting Nami.
Will Reed be able to save her? I have no idea what way this story will go and I can't wait for book 3!!!
Does Reed ever get a HEA?? AHH this story is breaking my heart. Once again M.S. Parker pulls you in from the beginning. Exotic Desires is very well written and is fast paced and just keeps you guessing left and right. And the ending... OMG the ending... HOW, WHY, I want book 3 NOW!!! I was so ready to throw my kindle when i seen it was the end of the book.
Reed decides to follow his heart in book 2 and go after a woman who hes falling in love with while she still keeps pushing him away thinking that by doing so she is doing what is right for her country.
But is it really. Will she stop letting her family and the people of her country dictate her life? Will she go after love or stay with her country and live a lie the rest of her life? I cannot wait for the 3rd and final book to come out to see if they get their HEA or if family and country are more important.
This is the 2nd book in the 3 part series and should be read in order.
Nami has sadly returned back to her island to become queen and accept the arranged marriage her parents are organising. Reed has gone on a bender of drink and women to try forget Nami but he just can't shake her off. With a little push he decides to give up everything and find Nami, will Nami want him and can he save her from her arranged marriage in time ?
Wow how I absolutely love this book ! it's full of hot chemistry, passion, action and drama. I was drawn in from the beginning, completely captivated and transported into Reed and Nami's world. This series is really well written, unique and refreshingly different. You are left with a big cliffhanger, I am so looking forward to reading the final book (3) in the series.

For Reed, who took life as it came, always doing the right things. Marry who his parents wanted him too and went into the family business as he was told to. Now he has given everything up and ventured out on his own, he has met and fell in love with the princess of Saja and is wearing his heart on his sleeve, trying to convince her to marry him. The only problem is her parents has already hand picked her Prince and he may have issues of his own. Nami, trying to do the right thing for her country, turns Reed away, but now she's all alone with her fears of losing Reed, protecting her sister and a husband who will stop at nothing to rule a country.
I love Reed. I feel that it seems that he can never catch a break. Wanting to be away from his family, so he goes of a long vacation meets Nami and instantly falls for her as she does with him. She knows they can be together because she is a Princess. Reed goes back home since his family says there is a situation going on but Reed never gives up on Nami. Reed will do everything he can to find her and make her his. But will it be too late? What Reed finds out is heart breaking for him but when all is lost will there be some hope for him to get what he wants. Can't wait to see what happens next
Once again M.S. Parker has left me screaming at my Kindle!! Either I was yelling OH MY GOSH or NOOOO!!! Reed and Nami spent "time" together in vol. 1 and they both decided their relationship could never go anywhere, because she was a Princess and she must rule her country and unfortunately, her husband would be chosen for her. Reed tries one last plea to win her over, help her see that she can make her own choice. However, she chooses Tanek. This was a great book, that hits the ground running! Nami marries Tanek and OH MY GOSH!! I could choke him with my bare hands!! Nami needs to be with Reed, and hopefully that'll happen eventually! Looking forward to Vol. 3! Must read series, for sure!!
At the end of the first book Reed and Nami part ways. Reed soon realized that he can't just let her walk away. But what is he going to do? She is a princess who is to marry and soon. He barely knows her name. Will he be able to find her? If he does will it be too late? Will his parents get in the way because he has a duty to the family business? This book answers many questions but also leaves one remaining. This book gives a glimpse of a life as Princess Nami. What would you do if you were in her shoes? She has a responsibility to her family and her country and she will protect her sister at all costs.
Wow! Exotic Desires 2 has left me speechless. While handsome Reed is determined to find happiness; Nami is expected to marry for her country. Unfortunately, Reed is a few days late in finding his true love; she's getting married. But is Nami happy? Is she safe? Is Nami treated as the future ruler should be? M.S. Parker continues to surprise me with the depth of her storylines. This book touched on a very real problem that occurs all over the world. It's sexy, steamy scenes were spectacular and as the story unfolded, I was reduced to tears. It's a must read story!
Reed has finally put his heart on his sleeve for the right woman. He has lead the life his parents want but now he is his own man. Is the woman willing to stand up to her parents and void the arranged marriage or will she be responsible and cause herself a lifetime of regret? Written with long monologues as they each discuss feelings and responsibility this was a touching book. I truly hope Reed gets his HEA, he deserves happiness. My copy was given for my honest review.
Reed is back and is hell bent on trying to get over Nami, but he couldn't he realised there is something between them. Nami on the other hand has returned home and is now due to be married. But she to has a hard time getting over Reed. Will Reed get his HEA? will Nami go ahead with the wedding or will she convince her parents to relax on traditions? Few choice words went past my lips when reading this. And with the cliffhanger at the end I was cursing even more.
Reed can't get Nami out of his head. The story is again full of twists and turns. The frustration of the situation, has me wanting to throw my kindle. M S Parker knows how to write a brilliant story. She throws curve balls into the mix, like nobody else. Will Reed get his HEA? Will Nami get control of her life? Am waiting with baited breath for all my answers! I know book three will mess with my emotions before I get my answers. It will be worth it!
Why does life have to be so hard? Even when Nami puts her own wishes aside and goes along with the arranged marriage her parent's have planned, it's not enough. Reed on the other hand has washed his hands of his family, liquidated his assets, and left the country in search of Nami, only to be told she chooses Tanek. M.S.Parker has me anxiously waiting for the final book in the Exotic Desires series.
