I loved this book because it has two of my favorite tropes small town and romantic suspense. I will definitely be reading more of this series.

First read from this author. I know. Jumping into the middle of the series. You know i don’t mind. I am here to support authors. This author definitely deserves my support. Thankfully, this book could be read as a standalone and makes me want to read the other books in this series. I did not feel like I was missing anything, but I did want to read the other books. Lana Decker was working as a wedding planner when the bride-to-be, Tina, noted that her husband-to-be, Dustin had not contacted her. Dustin took a hiking trip a week before the wedding. Bad idea, I know. Lana asked the only person she knew that could help.

Toren McCrae was a local hunting guide. He knew the woods and knew how to search for a missing hiker. Lana and Toren’s search started off rocky. While looking for Dustin, they ran across animals that did not look like they were hunted but poached. Toren and Lana had to be careful. Poachers did not like witnesses. Dustin might be in some serious trouble if he ran into the poachers. Lana proved to be a good partner after Toren got hurt. They held each other down through each problem that arose. Yes, they got in some mess. This book will keep readers on their toes. Readers get a mystery and maybe a love story. Toren has some issues with relationships. Lana knows how she feels. Will she let Toren’s fear stop her from getting her forever? I loved that Lana did not let her feelings stop her from living her life and being the person that she is. Despite Toren’s pushback, Lana was still there for him. I also loved how sassy and fierce Lana is. She broke all stereotypes and I was here for it. Yep, Ms. Quinn got another fan.

Midnight Hunter is a wonderfully satisfying romance that blends lingering heartache, forced proximity, and undeniable chemistry into a story that's as heartfelt as it is entertaining.

The remote Alaskan setting heightens the story’s tension and sense of adventure. Between the approaching storm, rugged wilderness, hiking mishaps, and dangerous discoveries, the close-quarters tension feels completely genuine. Stranded together, Toren and Lana have no choice but to rely on one another, allowing trust to develop alongside their undeniable attraction for one another.
The story balances humor, suspense, heartfelt romance, and adventure remarkably well. The pacing never slows, making it the perfect book to pick up when you're looking for a quick escape filled with strong-willed characters and an ankle pecking hen named Eloise.

Full of tense action, lingering heartache, chemistry, danger . . . what more could you want. Ashley Quinn does not disappoint with this third book in the Parker's Landing series. It ranks right up there with the others. Lana is an event planner on the hunt for a missing groom. She finds Toren, a wilderness guide to find him, but he won't go without her coming along. OK, quick fly in and out and bring the groom home for his wedding in 4 days. Easy peasy until it wasn't. Not only does the weather pose a dangerous problem, but something isn't right with the whole situation. Now dangerous men were after them too. Toren vows to keep Lana alive, but also vows he won't succumb to his growing attraction to her. One heartache is enough for any person in one lifetime, but Lana is makes it hard to keep his resolve. A great book by a great author!

Midnight Hunter slowly but surely pulls you in before you even realise it. Lana is a get it done, independent woman who doesn't back down.

Toren insists she joins him for a get in and grab him hunt that quickly turns dangerous, far more dangerous than he expected. What he also doesn't see coming is his growing attraction to Lana. You're left on edge as they become trapped in a situation that seems hopeless.

Their chemistry sizzles even while Toren tries his hardest to resist it. You most definitely feel for him while also wanting to smack some sense into him at the same time. When danger strikes again, it's a race against all odds as Toren fights for the chance to love again, and boy, does Lana kick some chicken butt, leaving you laughing.

Danger, tension, romance, and laughter combine to make Midnight Hunter a thoroughly entertaining read.

This book was so good. Torren is a grumpy, closed off, kinda serious and a hunting guide. He is also just who Lana needs because she is planning a wedding and the groom has decided to go on a hunting trip the week before the wedding and then goes incommunicado. Lana goes to Torren to ask him to look for the groom and he insists that she go with him because she gives off the city girl vibe. Torren was in for a shock when he saw and learned how capable Lana is!

This book is filled with some nasty characters and some dangerous situations but through it all Lana and Torren develop a relationship and learn that they go together like peanut butter & jelly. There are a couple twists and a cantankerous hen named Eloise who will surprise you in the end!

This is a must read!

What could go wrong, just because the black bears are coming out of hibernation nothing should happen,right?
A journey fraught with danger and discoveries. An edge of your seat book.I highly recommend this book.

Torem and Lana are two people living their own lives. He is a hunting guide, kinda grumpy, serious and closed off. She is an event planner, with sunshine and happiness.

One of her grooms disappears in a hunting trip. She goes to Toren asking for help to find the groom. He thinks she’d never agree in going with him. But she surprises him by accepting. They have a wild camping trip, with lots of walking, poachers, dead bears and lots of suspense.

They find out they fit together and their feelings are valid. Although Toren takes a while to actually accept that. They eventually have their HEA which is great.

I really enjoyed this fast action, dramatic romance.

Lana needed help to find the husband of a client and asks Toren a hunter to help find him, but they find more that they counted on.

Toren was a big, grumpy mountain man but a softie at heart for the right woman and Lana was that woman. Sparking off each other from the start, they had a connection that just grew. I enjoyed the slow build.

Well written a wonderful group of characters, and a great plot that got me involved. A fantastic read!

This book had plenty of action and was a quick read. What a great book!

So incredible! I was hoping Toren’s book would be next and it didn’t disappoint at all. Lana is an incredible match for our gentle giant, and she seriously puts the HERO in heroine. She’s an absolute powerhouse - I loved her immediately. Considering the entire novel takes place over about a week, it still had all the tension and buildup of a slow burn. So, so good! Can’t wait for the next one!

Wow what a nail biter. This author has yet to disappoint me with any of her books. I loved Lana and Toren and their harrowing love story. Lana is a wedding coordinator but when one of her grooms goes missing what is she to do but hire a guide and go find him. One thing I loved about Lana is she is one tough cookie that could hold her own. While searching for Dustin, Lana and Toren come across some disturbing scenes and now they are afraid something happened to him. This books has a lot of suspense, angst and a lot of twist and turns. And of course finally love. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it.

Lana’s wedding planning event takes an unexpected turn when she agrees to look for a missing groom who has gone hunting and persuades Toren to help her. Their adventure leads them into danger but also unexpected attraction blossoms in adversity. The author provides just enough danger, drama, suspense and romance to make you invested in the outcome such that you do not want to put the book down. Really enjoyable.

A wedding coordinator with a tough exterior what is not to like. Lana was an easy character to love, and she gets brownie points for putting up with Eloise and Toren. Toren did not think he could ever love again after Cara but even though he felt something for Lana it took danger and fear of the uncertainty to realize that he loved her and wanted a life with her. A nice suspense, mystery and intense romance.

I enjoyed Lana and Toren's story. This book is set in a small town. You know going in exactly what to expect in that area. The element of suspense had me interested to see how it would all turn out. The chemistry between Lana and Toren was undeniable. All in all, a good read.

Hooked from the start.. storytelling that made it so easy to picture the environment and atmosphere. Some Characters were so easy to love yet some so easy to hate as soon as you meet them. Loved it.

This book goes at a steady pace as they search out the groom for his soon to be wedding, he went hunting the week before his wedding on his own. Really enjoyed this book.

Toren and Lana were cute. The book didn't have anything to do with the fact she's an event planner - the only thing it did was giver her a reason to go traipsing through the wilderness with Toren because he didn't call to check in while out hunting. I enjoyed the book as a quick read, it did not have plot holes, the book flowed etc, however I wish this had more substance like other books by this author.
