Alfie and Molly are possibly my favourite couple of the second generation and you know why because it is definitely a battle of the wills when it comes to these two which makes them ever so perfect together.

Molly is a billionaire, and you know what we love powerful business women here (coming from a woman in finance) and she has got her eye on some buildings in Las Vegas but the only issue is that the owners are unwilling to sell. The reason for this is Las Vegas is under the control of Alfie’s family and he has decided that Molly has no business in vegas but do you think that’s gonna stop her? Absolutely not, so she decides to fly to vegas to deal with the problem personally.

When these two collide it was like a firework went off. Molly knew exactly how to push Alfie’s buttons and I was absolutely here for it. He may have been the King but she was the Queen coming for his throne. You could honestly cut the tension between these two with a spoon and this made their interactions and also intimate moments ever so sweet🤭

Even though Alfie tried to play the part of stern on the outside there was no denying that he was obsessed with Molly and he realised that he actually wanted to share his throne with this remarkable woman.

To keep it short and sweet I absolutely loved this story and I cannot wait for our next couple. Thank you to the author who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

Powerful, Romantic, and beautiful !

Claiming His Throne is such a beautiful story. It has rivals-to-lovers, a billionaire FMC, mafia MMC, and so much more.

The story follows Molly, who wants to buy several properties on the Vegas Strip, but Alfie and his family are determined to stop her from getting them.

I really loved Molly’s character. She is a true go-getter, confident, and ambitious. Seeing a billionaire FMC was refreshing because it’s not something I come across often in romance books.

Alfie is such a sweetheart. From the moment he claimed Molly, he knew there was no going back, and I loved how protective and devoted he was toward her.

I also loved how the author wrote Alfie’s relationship with his family and cousins. Their bond was beautifully portrayed, and it was so nice seeing another side of the characters from the Owning Vegas series.

This is a 4-star read that I recommend.

3.5⭐️ business rivals to lovers

This book was insta lust and insta feelings. There’s almost no push and pull they’re just instantly together. The backstory plot didn’t really go anywhere or get solved. Not sure if that’s in the next book or what. Usually these books are interconnected standalones.
It was a quick easy read

Molly is truly amazing!

I don’t think I have read a book that had such a strong and capable FMC that held her ground was impressive in her own capacity and held her ground. She had a kind heart was just fantastic.
The whirlwind romance on par with the series had me captivated throughout the book!
I would have loved to have seen further into their future!!!

“Claiming His Throne” is the fourth book in the “Owning Vegas 2nd Generation Series.” Louie and Charlotte Giuliani are Alfie’s parents - he will eventually take over as head of the family and empire when his dad officially retires. Molly Olive is a self made billionaire from Seattle. She is CEO of her property development company the Olive Group that has its eyes on four properties on The Strip in Las Vegas. All four properties have seen better days but not a single current owner wants to sell to her. Deciding that the best way to deal with the owner’s, is to be on the ground in Vegas….

Meeting with her Nevada team in the morning, she is advised that the owners will not talk to them. Adam informs her of some local facts…. “I mean, I’m not surprised. You do know who owns this city, don’t you? They won’t do anything without the approval of the Giulianis.” She has not taken no as an answer in the past, and she certainly will not know, and decides to visit the owners herself, but gets the same response. With Alfie being stubborn and possesive, with a strength of character the town in, has Molly met her match?

After arriving back in her room after a few drinks, she finds Alfie waiting for her. After establishing that she is sober….”Good girl,” he growls before his lips press right next to my mouth and then he steps back, the loss of his touch leaving me cold.” With Alfie being able to read her like a book, and her treacherous body responding to him, she is at his whim….body language does not lie! Alfie cannot get last night out of his mind….”I’ve had good sex before. Great ******* sex. Nothing compares to what last night was, though. I haven’t been able to get her out of my head.” With both Alfie and Molly being very strong people, and both extremely stubborn, they are evenly matched.

The story is full of passion, humor, intrigue, betrayal, vengeance, power, control, twists and turns around every corner - most of all love. There is never a dull moment. When these too clash, it is like an explosion has gone off….at other times you could cut the air with a knife with how tense things become between them. With the book going from pages that sizzle, to extreme violence, to the most beautiful tender moments, it is never dull!

“Because you’re always in control. You run an entire empire, Molly. You want to let go. You want to be able to clear your mind and focus on only the sensations I’m going to make you feel. You want to relinquish your control to me, because in doing so, you’ll gain more power, more clarity than you’ve ever had.”

You will fall in love with Alfie and Molly, with both knowing how to push each other’s buttons. They actually bring out the worst and the best in each other. There is never a dull moment - you will be hooked! I know I was - just love these two! A thoroughly enjoyable read from page to page, one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Molly is a powerhouse corporate baddie who has set her mind to expanding her empire into Las Vegas. But when she meets the hot prince of Vegas, Alfie Giuliani, who stands in her way, she realizes that taking over his town isn’t going to be as easy cause he’s committed to taking over her heart in return.

Ahhhh this was such a fun read! We already got a little glimpse of Alfie in Frankie and Emilio's book so I was really excited to finally get his story and it definitely didn't disappoint. These two had so much banter together, their chemistry was super on point and I was smiling through so many of their interactions. My only complaint? It was too short! I genuinely could've read so much more of them and would've loved an extra epilogue just to spend a little more time with them in the future.

Alfie and Molly just worked so well together. They're both incredibly driven, confident people who are used to taking charge, but somehow they never competed with each other. Instead, they matched each other's energy so well and it really made me love both of them so much cause their love for each other was way more of a priority for them than their interests. I also loved how quickly their relationship developed, it actually reminded me so much of Louis and Charlotte, where once they knew they just knew. There was no unnecessary back and forth, they just accepted that hey, this is my person and let’s just be together forever.

One of my favourite things about the book was Alfie and just how supportive he was. He became Molly's biggest cheerleader from the very beginning, encouraging her ambitions instead of feeling threatened by them. And Molly was such a boss! She knew exactly what she wanted professionally, but I loved watching her slowly let those walls down and allow Alfie into her life.

As always, Kylie Kent has such a talent for writing these shorter second gen stories. They're quick, fun, and feel like such a treat for readers who've followed these families from the very beginning. And I have to say, I was laughing so hard at all the Frankie and Emilio "kissing cousins" jokes, keep them coming babe! Alfie wasn't afraid to roast his siblings, and those family moments honestly made the book even more enjoyable.

Now excuse me while I impatiently wait for Daniella and CJ's book because a Vegas and DeBellis crossover is honestly the best thing Kylie could've done. Two of my favorite worlds are about to collide, and I am SO ready.

**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars) — A fluffy, steamy, enemies-to-lovers mobster romance that hits all the right notes! 👑🖤**

It is absolutely no surprise that I am rating yet another Kylie Kent book so high! She is hands down one of my top favorite authors, and I just love everything she writes. Every single book she puts out, I devour in one sitting! 📖💨 I don't know exactly what it is about her writing; she's not writing anything super unique or groundbreaking, but everything she writes just *works* for me perfectly. ✨

In this one, we follow Alfie, our MMC, who we know as the oldest son of Charlotte and Louie from *His Kingdom*. 👑 Alfie is your typical mobster who is training to take over the family business. He's luckily not a playboy, but he definitely enjoys the company of women, so he's no virgin. Lol. 😏 Alfie also enjoys some very specific kinks, especially dominating and inflicting the *good* kind of pain on his sexual partners. ⛓️🔥

Then we meet Molly, our FMC, and she is a total badass businesswoman from Seattle. 🏙️ She is a self-made billionaire CEO of a real estate development company, and she absolutely does not like taking "no" for an answer in her business. 💼👠 She has her sights set on a few buildings on the Las Vegas Strip... and well, Alfie doesn't want to sell to outsiders. 🎲🚫

And so begins a rather fluffy, highly entertaining enemies-to-lovers story! 🖤

I absolutely loved their back-and-forth dialogue, and when the tension finally broke, they got *pretty* steamy! 🥵 Of course, Alfie was incredibly obsessive and possessive of Molly, even before he realized exactly why. Molly was a blast to read with her take-no-shit attitude. She is truly the definition of a girl boss, and yet I loved her bowing so easily to Alfie's orders in the bedroom! Such a hot contrast! 🔥💋

Next up is CJ and Daniella in *Taking His Heart*, so you know I will be back with that review—probably on release day! Lol. 📅❤️

Molly, a billionaire, who wants to purchase some buildings in Las Vegas, but she can't get through the owners because of the Giuliano family, who control the city, won't let them sell those buildings to her. When she realises there is no possibility of success, she decides to take matters into her own hands and travels to Las Vegas to personally persuade them.

Molly is a tough, independent, confident, and smart woman who won't give up on her ambitions, even if it means resorting to dirty methods. However, she wasn't expecting that Alfie would be the one to show and ignite some hidden cravings.

Alfie is a strong, possessive, and stubborn guy who wants to keep control in his city. He is the one who can deal with Molly's attitude and get her to submit to him.

The tension between them was like a firework as soon as they laid eyes on one another. The attraction and desires are too intense and powerful, even if they make an effort to keep away from each other and dislike one another.
Spending more time together makes them realise how well they fit together, even if they decide to spend it only to satisfy each other's needs. Their bantering, connection and spice moments are incredible. Alfie's cousins also added a humorous touch to the narrative.
Overall I fully enjoyed reading this book.

So let me get this straight... she's a self-made bad ass billionaire with her own empire, he's the future mafia boss of Las Vegas, she literally SHOT at him thinking he was an intruder... and this man still couldn't stay away from her?! SAY. LESS. 😭🖤

Molly and Alfie were EVERYTHING.

Can we please normalize more FMCs like Molly? As a woman in finance, I LOVED seeing a powerful businesswoman who built her own empire, knew exactly what she wanted, and wasn't afraid to go after it. She didn't need anyone to save her, and that's what made her so incredible.

And Alfie? 😮‍💨

This man thought he could scare Molly out of Vegas... instead, he became completely obsessed with the one woman who challenged him at every turn. Watching the king of Vegas realize he wanted someone to stand beside him instead of behind him? I ate that UP.

The banter, the chemistry, the tension... these two were constantly trying to outsmart each other, and I couldn't get enough.

✨ Mafia romance
✨ Self-made billionaire FMC
✨ Enemies to lovers
✨ He falls first
✨ Powerful businesswoman
✨ Touch her & die vibes
✨ King & Queen energy

Molly officially became one of my favorite FMCs. Give me more women who build empires and bring powerful mafia men to their knees. 🖤📚

Molly is such a badass!!! A powerhouse of a woman! She’s strong, independent, determined and a perfect match for a Kylie Kent MMC!!! She is definitely a ball busting kind of woman, and I loved her determination to get what she wanted, and that she was a self-made billionaire who needed nothing from anyone! I loved that we got a truly independent, career woman as a MFC!

Alfie is a powerful, calculating man set to inherit the Guiliani throne and empire! He’s the perfect mob boss character! He’s also sweet, family oriented and loving!! He continues to say he doesn’t have a heart, but that is so far from the truth!! But then again all of Kylie’s MMCs think themselves to be the cold hearted, stone cold killer men, but they are all soft for just the right people, and Alfie is no exception!!!

Im still in shock over one part in this book and that it went down that way…. IYKYK! That hurt my heart Kylie!! 🥺🥺🥺
Loved getting to see a sneak peak at the upcoming characters!! That’s always so special!!

It’s always a great day when I get to get lost in the Kylie-verse!! Definitely a great read!! 💯 recommend this book!!! Can be a standalone but it’s always better to know all the players!!

Claiming His Throne by Kylie Kent

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This whole series has become my newest obsession! Every release leaves me hanging on the edge of my seat, desperate for the next book… and now I’m counting down until #TakingHisHeart.

But Claiming His Throne? I was completely obsessed with Alvie and Molly. For now, they’re officially my favourite couple… although knowing Kylie Kent, the next book might just change my mind!

Alvie is our irresistible mafia MMC who sets his sights on Molly, convinced he can handle her and run her out of Vegas. Oh, how wrong he is.

Molly is everything I love in an FMC—brilliant, fiercely independent, a self-made billionaire, and completely unafraid to stand her ground. She gives as good as she gets, and watching these two go head-to-head was absolute perfection.

This was one of those books where I kept telling myself, “Just one more chapter…”… and before I knew it, I’d read half the book!

My mafia girlies, if I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again… GET. THIS. BOOK. Kylie Kent is an absolute queen of mafia romance, and this series just keeps getting better.

Happy reading! 🖤📖

Honestly this whole series is amazing and this book from start to finish is such a good read. Kylie knows how to write and write well. I couldn't put this book down it keeps you hanging on having you say to yourself just one more chapter until you end up reading the entire book with no breaks or sleep haha.

I love the FMC Molly she is a total bad@$$ and has to be one of my favourite FMCs she totally knows what she wants and goes for it without any apologies. I also love how strong she is and that she will take no crap from anyone including men who think they know better.

I will say though this is the first book of Kylie's I'v thought to myself why Kylie why!!! IYKYK

What to say about the MMC the only thing really without giving too much away is Alfie is the MAN! Now if he could just teach others what they should be doing it would save us all a lot of time and effort lol. Alfie Alfie Alfie 😍

Definitely recommend reading this book and the entire series.

This is the fourth book in the Owning Vegas 2nd Gen series. Alfie Giuliani is known as a charmer but also ruthless when it comes to his family. He’s also the eldest child which makes him the heir. The Giulianis run Vegas. They are in charge of what happens in their city. So when someone threatens to invade their turf in the form of buying out buildings, they will stop at nothing. Alfie makes sure no one sells. When he meets Molly, the one who wants the properties, he has met his match. Molly is smart, fearless and loves her job and she will not let anyone stand in her way. However, when they meet face to face, the attraction is instant and they begin a fling. What will happen when feelings are involved? Will one walk away and give it all up? This was an emotional roller coaster. It is filled with trauma, danger, humor, heat, hilarious banter, and some unexpected surprises.

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice level/ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: mafia romance, second generation, found family, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, kink exploration, mob prince x CEO FMC, knife play

If you enjoy Kylie Kent’s writing or previous Owning Vegas books then you will enjoy this. Alfie was caught off guard by Molly and instantly became obsessed with her. Molly didn’t back down from Alfie and his intimidation tactics when she was trying to purchase buildings. Alfie gave in to his feeling and showed up and supported Molly not only with her sick mom but the kidnapping. Molly tried to resist but eventually gave in to her feelings. Like father, Alfie locked down Molly quickly. As always I enjoyed this book and it was a quick read!

Alfie & Molly

Loved them!! These two had soo much chemistry 🫠 Alfie was irresistible and Molly didnt try too hard to resist him anyway 😅

They made a great couple, I enjoyed their banter. The way Alfie knew what Molly wanted without her even having to say anything was 🔥😍

I felt bad for Angus though, he was a great friend, I liked his sense of humor.

I liked the plot as well, Molly's mom being sick was sad but she was strong and resilient. Alfie was great with her in that regard.

The cousins are always hilarious when they show up, I'm loving them as much as the Valentinos 😊

Looking forward to the next one 🥰

Alfie and Molly have a banter that is so fun to read about! She doesn’t immediately fall for his charm and tells him multiple times she’ll „claim his throne“. At first he doesn’t want to believe it - why should he? - but he is very proud of her in the end. They truly make a great couple to own Las Vegas.
We get to see glimpses of the first couples of the series as well as the first generation. In this book we see Charlotte & Louie as parents - the couple that started my Kylie Kent journey - so their kids always feel extra special to me. Tis book didn’t disappoint me and I really recommend it!

Thank you Kylie Kent and her team for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. 🤍

I swear any Kylie Kent book can get me out of a reading slump, I just have such a good time reading ANY of her books and this was no different. (Thank you for the EARC).
I had such a good time reading this book, I loved the competitive nature of our FMC, Molly she is a strong BILLIONAIRE, self made and is an absolute boss b*tch and I LOVE IT. Alfie is our perfect MMC, such a secure man than he’s not threatened by Molly’s success and that’s exactly what she needs.
I loved their dynamic and I’m ALWAYS happy to see Tio E 🤭🤭 even if it’s just a tiny bit, he’ll always be my fave I think. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, just the right amount of relationship drama, plot and spice.

Omg, Alfie and Molly were pure fire in all capacities! First of all the chemistry was......well, let's just say it started with a bang and never let up! The banter and was fun, flirty, sassy, and just plain fantastic in every way. These two were both stubborn and head strong, but they both fell fast and Alfie quickly went from wanting her gone to wanting her to succeed. Sure the push and pull were fantastic, but they fall was so much better! I don't want to give anything away but I will say there is a couple parts that made me tear up. Some were from heartbreak and others from happiness, but overall this story was fun, spicy, engaging and addictive.

The book I’ve been waiting for

OMG Alfie and Molly are the couple. Both powerful and perfect for each other.

Kylie, why did you leave us with so many questions. How did Alfie get into BDSM, do they move to Las Vegas, what does their future look.

I can’t wait for the next installment with CJ and Danielle. Hopefully more of the entire family and can’t wait to see more about how they fight the Russians.

Molly was such a boss. I loved how headstrong and determined she was. I think her naivety toward the world around her was a bit ridiculous because she could have been hurt when she blackmailed the guy. I’m not sure she even thought before she did it. Angus made me cry. It’s sad and her feelings were absolutely valid. I think Alfie was perfect.
