Charlie's got her hands full dealing with getting gang leader Anthony Larsen off her back after he decided she's responsible for his loss of millions of dollars, but even on Hawaii, when it rains, it pours.
Even as Charlie is handling the whole gangster situation, another problem has reared its ugly head, and this time Dot is in the thick of it.
While Dot and Rosie insist they have everything under control, there's no way Charlie is going to let the women who have helped her out so many times do this on their own. She's going to get to the bottom of what's going on. But, the deeper she gets into this case, the more it feels like she's being made to walk the plank.
Will Charlie get to the bottom of the case and save the day, or if she about to get thrown overboard?
I read a lot of Cozy Mysteries. I enjoy about 10 books a month. I so look forward to the adventures with Charlie, Rosie and Dot. This is my favorite Cozy Mystery Series. It’s always an easy read that is beyond captivating. I also like that the story doesn’t have too many characters to pull it off. I look forward to the next book to be released in October. I really enjoy this series. This story, or any in the series can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend the series, free on KU. The characters are richly drawn and the plot moves along, with plenty of mystery and suspense, but also laughs and some light romance thrown in.
You can't read just one or even just three or four. Entertaining with intriguing characters, great dialogue, clever mysteries, richly described details, and set in Hawaii. Terrific vacation reads!
Great to read Charlie is always way deep in case. If you like funny story about pi getting tazed over and over again how many times until it don't fazed her
