Okay, I finally understand the Killian hype. 😭 The change in his relationship with Edith is probably my favorite part of the story. I love that it isn't just "he saw that she's actually pretty and suddenly he's in love." He actually has to confront his assumptions about her, and Edith slowly learns that she doesn't have to constantly expect betrayal from everyone around her. Their relationship becomes SO much healthier once the trust is there. Was I annoyed with them for half the story? Absolutely. Did I still eat up every interaction? Also absolutely.
