Published to coincide with the queen's eightieth birthday, an exploration of her life and achievements is presented from the perspectives of individuals who work with her, in a behind-the-scenes portrait that offers insight into her marriage, symbolic roles, and personal interests.
I enjoyed this detail-oriented and illustrated biography of the late Queen. I also thought the layout and chapters were very well organized, although it leaned slightly in the style of a textbook. The beautiful photos and cool "fun-facts" I never knew made up for it, though. RIP Her Majesty
Just Finished (15) Life with the Queen by Brian Hoey. No amazing tidbits or insights, just more and more admiration for this remarkable woman. God Save the Queen!
