Excellent self-help

My only complaint is that this book just needs better proofreading. Aside from a few awkward misspellings and added words in some sentences, this is a very comprehensive, workable, and enlightening self-help book. In fact, as I read, I couldn't help but think most people suffer from some form of reductionism and could be helped by reading this. This is by no means a substitute for professional help (therapy, rehab, etc.), but it gives insight to problem areas, expands on definitions, and provides useful tools to resetting the cognitive thought process.

Good but not Great

This book addressed a variety of issues with rejection and had pretty general solutions to fit all. I have longstanding issues with my daughter - and I did find that I will usually counter attack her when she attacks me. I will try not to do that next time. The author states the results from reading this book won't happen overnight.

Great!

This book was to the point and without all the background mumbo-jumbo nobody has time for. It's the same process I took myself through on my own. I copied down lists to walk myself through this again in an easier and quicker way this time. Great, to the point book!!!

Being involved in a project that was not going quite as well as anticipated, I allowed the nasty self-confidence gremlin into my head. “Rejection Reset” caught my eye at the right time. When I began reading the book, I realized this was not just another book on the subject, but one with substance and clear action plans to help us get through those negative times in our lives.

The author begins the book by stating nine things to expect to learn from the book. And he follows through on his promises.

I particularly plugged into Chapter 7, which tells us how to “disempower the flaws that are slowing us down and keeping us stuck.” He advises us to admit what we want to change, make a decision to change it, decide what we are willing to do to make the change, choose a new response and action, and continue to repeat and reinforce our plan.

I recommend this book to anyone who is experiencing self-doubt, is feeling inferior or rejected, or needs to understand how the right choices can implement the right changes.
