Well.. there are much better dark romance mafia books out there than this waist of paper.

This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2026, and Beth did NOT disappoint. I devoured it!!

This book will have you laughing along with bratty Cordelia. Yearning for Logan, wanting to smack his friends upside their heads for the dumb fuckery and feel the gut wrenching pain Logan and Cordelia feel.

It took me 0.5 seconds to fall in love with Logan and his smirk, and even less to love Cordelia and her sass! I love a feisty FMC.

One look from Logan, one drunken encounter with Cor and he is hooked, he’s also hunting for the girl who witnessed the “triple threat” brutality mutilate a boy and murder him … only to realise, it was her!!

I love how feisty and sassy Cordelia is, she’s not afraid to tell Logan to fuck right off!

Logan is obsessed and posessive with his blonde vixen 😍

Logan, Clarke and Ezio have amazing chemistry and banter, even if Clarke is a little psychotic, their friendship is loyal to a fault!

I was fortunate enough to be an ARC reader for this book, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Cordelia's Reaper takes you on an emotional roller coaster. Beth has such a wonderful way with words, every character is relatable and she has given each of them enough depth that I found myself thinking 'that is so typical of X'. Her writing style is so good, very witty, she had me laughing out loud at points.
I really enjoyed the story, even with the emotional twists and turns. I can't wait for book 2!

impossible to put down

This book had me laughing and almost crying in places, i absolutely loved the character development throughout the book, and seeing the relationship blossom.

He’s a touch her and d!e absolutely morally grey MMC and she is a sassy FMC giving brat kink vibes 🤪🤪🤪,

I really enjoyed the story in sad it’s over , I can’t wait to read more in the future from Beth 🫶🫶❤️❤️❤️

A readable and well-written story. Unfortunately, I'm probably not the target audience.

The characters behave quite like adults, but there's still a hint of immaturity.

Anyway, it was good, likeable characters, even the secondary ones, well-written, the story is coherent and has a head and a heel. Fortunately, there are no repetitive sentences, which is a big plus for me.

The spices are warm, but not hot.

But I would like to read the next part.

I was really excited to take this book on holiday but got so hooked I ended up reading it by day 2 🤣
All the characters were so well developed and relatable, it felt as though I knew them.
Very well written full of twists, turns and emotion.
This book got me back into reading after far too long of a hiatus and I can't wait for the next book from Beth!
