Some books tell a story. Others leave an imprint on your heart. The Next Exit by Carmen Holeman is one of those rare books that stays with you long after you’ve turned the final page.
This is a story of survival, but survival is only the beginning. At its core, it is a journey of discovering not only who you are, but whose you are. Carmen vulnerably shares the twists, turns, heartbreaks, and victories that ultimately led her to find her true identity; not in the pain of her past, the opinions of others, or the circumstances she faced, but in her faith of Jesus Christ.
What makes this book so extraordinary is the grace and dignity with which it is written. There is no bitterness or desire to settle scores. Instead, every page reflects humility, strength, perseverance, and an unwavering faith that God can redeem even the deepest wounds. Makes my heart happy
Carmen's strength, faith, and perseverance shine through this story of her journey so far. I enjoyed this quick read and hope she decides to write another book.

Wow just wow!!
I usually start a book,pick it up again and then never finish. I finished this one in a day.. I felt like I was living right along with her.
