First of all, I was seated as soon as I saw both characters were almost 40. Then I got to the premise of the book… 😂 It was delightfully different. You don’t really see two people accidentally being sent to a singles retreat that ends up being a swingers retreat.
At first, they make a pact just to survive the week-long vacation, but it turns into so much more. Both characters are relatable and lovable. Our FMC, Ansley, has always felt like she wasn’t enough, while our MMC, Miles, needs to learn the difference between career and life.
This book had me smiling, laughing, and, since I’m a softie, tearing up. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
