Autumn Wolff is a Mainer, bub. And she’s a woman of few simple interests. When she’s not writing stories about girls kissing each other, Autumn is likely reading stories about girls kissing each other, playing Dungeons and Dragons, running, or watching a movie. She and her wife live near the ocean and consume more pizza than four turtles mutated by ooze. Autumn may not have the biggest living space, and it may never have enough bookshelves, but it’s home.
Cute, adorable, wholesome, and a whole lot of fun. It's very much classic egg-fic done in Autumn's style, and I just couldn't help but grin (and cry a little) as I read it. Well worth the read.
I liked this book, it was a quick easy read, imo it did come across as kind of fanfic-y/corny BUT it was cute! there were a lot of references to different things and tbh this is a me problem but I didn’t get a lot of them… like I could tell it was referencing something but was unsure what.
My main problem (no pun intended?) was that the whole book takes place over the span of like 6 days? It was hard for me to care about the relationship because during their fight I was like “they’ve only known each other for 3-4 days? Why are they so madly in love??”
But overall I would recommend, it was fun and cute

Ok, I absolutely love this is set in Maine, my home. It’s so exciting to see areas I’m familiar with reflected back at me from a book, doubly so since it’s a queer book.
This is well written, a few typos made it through, but a few typos always makes it through to publishing. The style was wonderful, I love the pop references and that they weren’t generally explained. If you got them you got them if you didn’t you didn’t, though google is available.
I chose to read this book on a whim this morning after the author made a post on Threads promoting it because I love these kind of premises. Sage and Bella were such a sweet couple to read. Joining Sage on her journey and witnessing her reach the destination of euphoria was simultaneously heartwrenching and heartwarming. I am so happy this book was made!
The worst part about every single one of Autumn’s books is that I always want to immediately read the next part of her character’s story as soon as the book is done. This one was no different and I hope she writes a sequel. As someone who’s own egg cracked recently this book gave me all the feels in the best way. I’d give it ten stars if I could.
This was a fun story! I loved watching Sage's story unfold. The only reason I gave it 4-stars is because there were many pop culture references I didn't get.
