The Romance Review
Running away is only a short term solution. Rebecca is living the life of a kinky gypsy as she travels the nation in her RV. She's selling her jewelry and enjoys a life without a postal code. She is her own boss and nothing could be better, except for her non-existent sex life. Rebecca is afraid of her ex-husband. Living a life where she's always on the move so that he can't find her is status quo. She sees nothing wrong with it. When a life-changing event occurs, she's forced to re-examine her lifestyle and make a difficult decision.

This story is a hard one for me. I liked the characters Rebecca, Toby and Logan. Toby and Logan are good guys. They do remind me too much of Sean and Max from The Crafty Bastards. Whilst Toby and Logan are sweethearts, I just didn't connect with them. Compared with Sean and Max, they are a bit too tame and mild. I also didn't connect as much with Rebecca, though the three together are a nice ménage. This is a softer, gentler book in many ways. Even though there is a psycho ex-husband, the intensity isn't there for me. The book doesn't move me. It pulls no emotions out of me because I don't care about Rebecca and her victimhood.

The story does turn around with Toby and Logan supporting Rebecca. It's this kinky community that quickly bond together and protect their own that makes the book a feel good one. It's an appealing and reassuring sentiment. The plot does flow predictably and the happily ever after for the triad does finally come around. The give and take between the characters in order to create a new life together is admirable. There are no compromises with losers in this deal. There are carefully negotiated changes to satisfy the needs of each character: Rebecca, Toby and Logan. Once again, Ms. Dalton presents the difficulties of a ménage and the effort it takes to make one work.

Recommended for kinky ménage readers who enjoy not one, but two white knights saving a damsel in distress.

This was a good but I felt that it was something missing. Rebecca escaped her abusive, domineering ex-husband and Dom for a life on the road as a chainmaille jewelry artisan with her dog Chewi. When her uncle dies she is forced to return to Sarasota where she meets Toby and Logan. Rebecca's friend Eliza is busy playing matchmaker trying to get these three together. Toby and Logan have been together for eight years and they have been hurt in the past by an ex who cleaned out their checking account. I really liked these three and I felt bad for all of them Rebecca who has been running from her crazy ex she only had her dog she gave up everything to keep him away from her. When she realizes how lonely her life is and that she doesn't want to die like her uncle did without anyone she becomes willing to take a chance with the guys. After the death of their neighbor Logan realizes that he needs to snap out of it and start living again he has guilt over what their ex did and he also realized that if he didn't he would lose Toby. This was a good book but I did feel like the character of Rebecca could have been crazier. Love reading this series this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling like all of Tymber's books I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Seriously, I feel like I've read this exact book in this same series. There was nothing new or exciting. We've read the bi couple bringing in a female third. And the woman running from her ex. I gave it three stars simply because it is still well written.

Also, I love an amusing pet in a book, but this dog thought/spoke in "lolcat" speak. It was not only annoying, but slightly insulting to the intellect. It would have been funnier to read about a dog bent on using minions to achieve world domination if it wasn't spelled "minuns" and "dominayshun".

I have read many of Tymber Dalton's books and have loved all, especially Domme by Default and Reluctant Dom. She usually writes exceptional character development, interesting plots, and sex scenes that practically light the "page" on fire. This was a nice sweet story that has Tymber's usual dose of kink thrown in. I love everything about this world she has built. In fact, if I could move there, I would today. Thank you Tymber for continuing with this series… I can’t wait to read more.

Dull

There is no BDSM in this book. There is very little M\M in this book even though the men are already together at the beginning. And then there is the typical freak out by the female coupled with a "sorry I have to leave" letter and mad dash to find her. Boring.

Woohoo, Tilly finally has a mini me lol. This group keeps things going that's for sure. Love the m/m/f in this story but with we would have been able to have a little more action with Toby and Logan with Rebecca along for help or whatever.

Thanks again Tymber.

I wish the story would have been bigger and more thrilling and angsty. I like large epic stories but I'm glad that Tymber Dalton doesn't add extra fluff and repetition just to make a story bigger. This was a nice sweet story that has Tymber's usual dose of kink thrown in. I liked that the character Rebecca was a jewelry artist working in chainmaille. I and my hubby have made a few things in chainmaille and understand the incredible amount of time it entails. I have friends that work the renfaire circuit and it was nice going along with Rebecca for the ride. I think it would have been nice if Toby and Logan had spent a day at the faire while Rebecca sold her wares. I could imagine them popping in from time to time between eating tempura and shopping for leather goods. I wish that someone would have given Rebecca's ex a black eye. She spent so much time being afraid and alone because of him.

Rebecca survived an abusive relationship but then continued to live almost on the run. Confronted with her uncle's lonely death she realizes something needs to change. And while Logan and Toby have their won crazy ex something about Becca draws them together. They take special care to make sure she never feels trapped and when her own back bone gets strong enough she can stand up to her ex and their's too. Everyone can cheer that one.

Knocked another out of the park. Chewi is the bomb. Love that little guy. Rebecca, Toby and Logan are great, too. Getting over past betrayals are tough, I know. Having someone come into your life and make it all better makes it worth it.

This was disappointing for me. I didn't feel any heat or passion between the characters, was annoyed by the language used in relation to the dog, and wished for at least one scene between the boys.
The book was okay, but that's about it.

Ms. Dalton hit another one out of the park as normal. Her writing is entertaining with the right amount of snark and feeling. It makes you wish for friends like this.

This book was so good I almost couldn’t put it down. It is wonderful to see, even though people can have tough times, if given a chance, love can find them too.
