Book 1 review:
I did not, did NOT, want to put this book down. I was entranced from the start. But of course as in life, I was faced with many interruptions; one being of the six year old variety. So I found myself going to great lengths to find some much needed solitude and finish this book. I even took to hiding in the children's bathtub with the curtain drawn, lights off, and hoping beyond hope they would not spy the glow coming from my phone. Why was I reading on my phone? Because it's easier to conceal in my pocket. Whereas mom walking through the house toting her Kindle is like wearing a neon sign that blares DISTURB ME with an arrow pointing directly at me. So aside from the cold from the tub seeping through my clothes, I settled in to finish reading about hot, sexy, seductive Luke. Professor hot, sexy, seductive Luke and his taboo romance with Bree.

I honestly fell in love with BOTH characters. Embry, Bree, is a twenty-five year old law student. She is dedicated to her future and is constantly working hard to maintain her high GPA and keep her scholarship. She’s smart and strong. Bree may not see the strength in herself, but I could. She’s got a past that has left marks on her emotional well being. But when she meets Luke, he makes her feel safe and secure. She finally takes a chance at a relationship and love again.

Luke, oh my Lord where do I start? He is intense and seductive. I love a man who looks you in the eye while charming the pants off of you. But he’s patient. He doesn’t want to rush things. He wants to take the time to get to know Bree. Luke cares for her and takes care of her. He’s a nurturer with a sexy, southern accent. Seriously, I could go on and on and on and… You get the point.

I could not get enough of these two together. They absolutely fit! But, Luke has kept something from her. It divides them romantically for a while. My heart ached to see them apart. They were hurting, themselves and at some point each other. When they do get back together of course my heart rejoiced. I was elated. We’re on the road to happiness here. But oh no, no no no. R.E. Hunter couldn’t leave it there. Luke has one more secret he’s kept from Bree. A pretty big one. It brought Bree’s world to an absolute halt. My heart split and pieces of it fell into the pit of my stomach. I was literally in tears. As if that wasn’t enough, Ms. Hunter has one more curve ball to throw. The last page in the epilogue…the last two sentences…broke me. I was left an emotional wreck. I was crying for Bree and Luke and the state of their relationship. I was angry at the possibilities over what the last two sentences could bring in the next book. In case you haven’t guessed by now, yes, it’s a cliffhanger ending. But a very, very GOOD cliffhanger. A double cliffhanger! One of the best ones I’ve read.

R.E. Hunter did an amazing job evoking feelings in me, the reader. I felt every sensation there was to feel in this book. Every caress, every heated stare, the frustration and anger; I felt all of it. I love when an author does that to me.

I truly cannot wait for the sequel. Ms. Hunter has made a fan girl out of me.

Book 2 review:
This is romance at its best. Unbroken is sexy, seductive, love-beats-all, we’re-in-it-together, can’t-be-stopped, heartwarming romance. R.E. Hunter has outdone herself with this sequel. By the time I read the words “The End”, my heart was full and my emotions spent. Dare I say, getting to the end of Luke and Embry’s journey was much like the euphoric release one experiences during the big “O”. The slow burn and seduction of a well told story. The spike in adrenaline during the climactic rise. Then finally, the pay off, the satiated, toe tingling rush coursing through you when reaching that ultimate high. In my head, I was screaming ‘yes, yes, yes!’ These two amazing, strong people held together and as a team confronted and defeated the obstacles in their lives. This is love.

“I don’t work without you, Embry. I never have, and I never will.”

When we last saw Luke and Embry, I had no clue how they were going to recover or which direction their story was going to go. My heart was hurting for them, my mind going crazy with all the possible scenarios. I was ecstatic that we didn’t have to wait long to see them find their way back to each other. That’s not to say that Ms. Hunter didn’t twist me in knots. On the contrary, my stomach and nerves pitched in quite a few places. Embry had to learn to let go of the hurt and decide to trust Luke again. Luke was noticeably sorry for all the pain he caused her and tried his damndest to make it up to her. Then there were the outside forces working against them. Old demons that needed to be dealt with. Her past. His. At one point, my heart was in my throat. Unbroken kept me on edge till the very end.

He’d broken her down, shattered her, then put her back together again.

It is rare when a sequel can surpass the first book, equal footing yes, but to exceed book one doesn’t happen often. R.E. Hunter has accomplished that feat. If you haven't yet picked up this series, what are you waiting for? Get to it!

“My home’s right here, Embry…As long as you’re there, I’m home.”

This box set had everything. Hot southern sexy lawyer/professor, strong female lead, great side characters, hot sex scenes all bundled into a brillant story at the low price of 99¢. The sign of a great book is that when its over your like what? NO!! These characters are my friends and family, I need to know more, read more about them. I need more Luke and Embry, more Morgan and Brett. At least the next book will be about Jeremy he deserves some happiness. I hope in his book we have follow up of characters in the first two books. Recommend these books to anyone who loves a good romance, a story with challenging horrible ex's, great friends and family, no cliffhanger and has a HEA.

4.5 Stars...

You know that feeling of hitting the freaking book jackpot? Now add to that the feeling of pure bliss when a story holds you hostage making you forget about everything around you! Well people this combination and more happened to me with the Disclosure Series.

I've seen the The Disclosure Series floating around and initially the covers really drew me in. Since the series is complete and conveniently offered in a bundled/ boxed set I jumped in. I really had no expectations and only a skim of the synopsis (I like to live on the wild side - hee hee!). It's a two book series (Undone & Unbroken) and the boxed set includes bonus material.

Embry Jacobs is beginning her first year of law school with her best friend Morgan. She's a strong smart girl just looking for a fresh start from a not so pleasant past experience. Right away this story sucked me in. I connected quickly with the characters - not just Embry and Luke but the supporting characters as well. They are fresh, funny and real. Embry has a few chance run ins with Mr. Southern Sexy himself, Luke Brody. Luke is an attorney and professor at the school. Although these run-ins are quick, you can almost feel the spark between Embry and Luke. There is that insta-attraction, but boy is it believable. As Luke and Embry begin to explore this intense attraction, they are both aware of the consequences since he is a professor and she's a student.

Luke and Embry's story is quite intoxicating. The passion, longing, lust and eventual love they feel for one another just pours off the page. It never got boring at all. They become quickly wrapped up with one another. Embry is putting her law school career at risk and Luke is facing scandal as well. This couple will face many difficult situations while secrets and lies create even greater obstacles.

R.E. Hunter did a fabulous job with this story. As the plot developed it became even more difficult to put the book down even for a few minutes. I lived and breathed this story. It's captivating, angsty, emotional and very sexy. Luke not only charms Embry, but he charmed me as well! I also must say that best friend Morgan is incredible. I loved her personality and dedication to her best friend. I'm also pretty certain I laughed out loud anytime there was a scene involving her!

so relatable

I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'm going to keep it brief and a little vague.

When I started reading this book I just knew it was going to be a roller coaster ride that I would both love and hate. I loved it because I loved the characters and their depth. And I hated it because I got so frustrated at times I wanted to scream and throw my kindle. The author did an amazing job of writing their story and I really felt like I was part of it. I could feel the heartbreak and the love they felt.

Bree and Luke really are made for each other and the ups and downs they go through to reach their conclusion is just amazing. I gotta say for awhile there I was kinda hoping that Jer would be the love of Bree's life but after certain occurrences with him I'm so glad that he isn't.

Not only did Embry and Luke have to deal with Jack they also had to deal with Sydney and the who student / professor thing to.

This book will forever be ingrained in my mind because it was just so touching. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to feel like they are a part of a real life romance story that will take your breath away. There are no dominating alpha heros or swoony defenceless heroines in this book, just normal people that are easy to relate to and understand.

I will definitely be adding this author to my authors to be read list and I hope you will too.

Overall for both books- 4 stars. I absolutely loved and wanted Luke! He was by far one of the best book boyfriends ever. Embry...I had a little bit of a hard time with her in book one...book two she finally impressed me more and I wanted to finally applaud her for being better. I felt like it could've been Morgan's book sometimes cause I also very much liked her a lot. Great reads, you can't not not love Lucas James

A very sweet love story!

I absolutely loved this beautiful story! I have not read this author before but will definitely be reading more. Luke and Embry were perfect together, hot steamy chemistry, passion, laughter, and unfortunately plenty of angst. There was a terrific cast of characters in Maggie and Jeremy. I can't wait to search out and read more from R. E. Hunter!

Enjoyable story

Glad to read a story without anyone being tied up. (Just seems everyone is writing like 50 Shades lately) This series is a classical romance with much suspense and steam without all that kinkery. Enjoy!

This is my first book and series by this author, the writing was very good through out the book until the inconsistencies at the end of the second book that kept it from a 5 star rating. The first book takes place the first semester of law school for Embry where she meets Luke. Its lust at first sight and after running into each other a few times start a relationship. Their problems come from his not telling her he is a professor at the school and her ex Jack finds out she is back in NY and starts harassing her. Lots of drama trying to keep their relationship a secret. The second book starts with him dealing with a student from his past that comes back into his life. This book takes place the second semester of law school and doesn't focus as much on their student/professor relationship. The fact he didn't tell her about Sydney causes trust issues for them that they work through but Sydney starts stalking Embry. The wreck at the end of the book takes place around 3:30 in the afternoon right after a 3pm meeting with the Dean where they come clean however it is blinding headlights that cause Embry to have the accident??? Also not real sure how Sydney can practice law in NY when her license is from Ga. The epilogue is 3 years in the future then there is another "after the Epilogue" and somewhere in there they seemed to have gotten married. Overall a very good read with lots of drama.

Wow!! There are no words to express this series. Love would just not do it justice! From the very beginning I was hooked! I immediately fell for Luke and found myself wanting to be best friends with Embry, Morgan, Brett, and Jeremy!!! It's not very often where you find a series that speaks so much to your heart and you feel exactly what the characters are feeling. This book is an emotional roller coaster and one you'll want to ride. But there is also so much love, support, friendship, trust, and all the feels that you could imagine. I wasn't just reading a book, I was there in the story with Luke and Embry, feeling everything they were feeling and in each situation with them. I'm waiting for this great group of friends to come out of the pages for real and be my friends. My heart felt each and every emotion right along with Luke and Embry. My heart was either smiling, laughing, falling to my stomach in the sweeter swoon worthy moments, or just plain content when everything worked out for the time being. I'm now on the look out for my own "southern sexy" as I think Luke will be preoccupied with Embry for good. And j wouldn't have it any other way! Much love for our writing RE Hunter! You blew me away!! I can't wait to pick up more to read!!!

Bree has been through allot in the past and when high school ended she ran to a college far away from home to get away from it all. Coming back home for law school she is determined that school will be the only thing on her mind, but it all get blown out of the water with one look into gorgeous bite eyes.

Luke is everything she ever wanted in a man, but never thought she'd find. After the past she's had trust is hard for her to give but with Luke is everything seems perfect.

Bree is a bit unsure at times but doesn't let it hold her back. When things get rough she has a tendency to run but as the story continues you see her grow and learn to take things head on.

Throughout the story there are twists and turns, secrets revealed, and lies uncovered. These two have their share of trouble as they work to overcome everything while still coming out of it trusting each other.

The story is hot and steamy at times and at others you're on an emotional rollercoaster. This characters take you on a ride with them and you feel like you're right there living it all!

Great series!!!

This romantic love story is between a law student, Embry Jacobs and an attorney/professor, Luke Brody!!!

This is truly a love at first sight love story!!!

After a not so great relationship and even worse breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Jack, can Luke be the perfect distraction Embry needs to get over that bad experience of a relationship?

Embry doesn't trust herself enough to be in a relationship with anyone since her breakup with Jack.

Question is: Does she really want a relationship with Luke or is she scared that she won't find her one true love and that special man in her life?

After a very seriously bad mistake caused by each of them: Will Embry and Luke's relationship be ruin forever or will they each have the strength to rekindle the romance and find love again?

You just have to read this series to find out!!!

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!,
By Toni Myers
Loved this box set, and fell in love with Southern Sexy Luke, not only is hot, but has an amazing heart. Embry just wants to get through her law class, so she does a lot of studying with her best buddy Jeremy, who secretly wants to be more than friends. Luke and Embry have a lot of bumps in the road to get through, and their is a lot of twists and turns that will make you scream. Morgan and Brett are her best friends, and they are always at her side, and always look out for her, who wouldn't want great friends like that they are the best. This book will make you laugh, and also bring tears to your eyes, so get ready for an emotional read.

So good! I found this book on Kindle Unlimited through Amazon. This is my first book by R.E. Hunter. I loved it!! It truly was love at first sight for Embry and Luke. Luke is a Professor at the law school Embry has just started. Their sparks fly when they literally run into each other on day 1. At first Embry doesn't know that Luke is a professor until it is too late. Once that little secret is revealed, Embry is already in too deep. Her heart has belonged to Luke since the first moment. Even though life tried to throw them every curve ball in the book; in the end their love was strong enough to win. I'm so glad that it did.

LOVED IT!

I've had this book for months and just didn't feel like starting it. It's my first book from this author. I finally started reading it a week ago and I'm so glad I did. I loved their story. Luke is just a great guy. They had ups and downs throughout the book but they always seemed to move past them. The issues they had were interesting and added anticipation and suspense to the book. I loved Morgan. She was a great character and hilarious. I'm so glad I decided to read this book. Great story and great characters.

Reading a box set is great because you get the entire story. This set gives you both books of the story of Embry and Luke.
Embry is a first year law student who meets Luke. He turns out to be a temporary fill in for one of her professors. Can their professor/student relationship survive even though it's against the rules. When he is no longer her professor can their relationship survive their past indiscretions and crazy exes.
This book is a little angsty, but the Southern Sexy is what kept me reading. Luke is the book boyfriend we all love to read about. Enjoyed this book.

Great book! Luke and Embry had amazing chemistry! The whole professor/student relationship wasn't as taboo as some. He was 31 and she was 25. They met at law school but shortly before he became her professor. He is an attorney and also teaching some classes at the university and she is a law student. Of course, their relationship had to be hidden at first and there were tons of ups and downs. His past and her past come into play and not in a good way! But this book was a great read, I really enjoyed it!

Amazing story

I loved this set because it's not the dominant type books or any of that stuff. This is a story about two strangers meeting and having life just happen. It had its up and downs. You'll fall in love with the characters. It was just an amazing book to read. I'm not gonna give any details about the book at all because I think you should read it yourselves. And I hope you do.

Holy mother of all things sexy. Luke Brody you beautiful man. Oh, and don't forget Embry Jacobs... I loved this couple. No matter what obstacles they faced they always came out on top.

I mean I kind of died a little when things get messy because I was scared shitless, but thankfully things ended up the way I wanted.

I totally recommend this. Beautiful couple. Beautiful love story. Crazy ass exs. What could be better?

I really enjoyed The Disclosure Series!! It was especially nice that the 2 main characters were down to earth regular people, trying to make their relationship work. They had a lot of problems from their pasts but they also had a very strong love. I enjoyed the way Lake took care of Embrey. If you don't mind reading about a lot of steamy sex scenes, you'll really enjoy this series!!
