This was a long book. My kindle font is large but not giant and it was 769 pages. Whew! But it was good. The pacing was good. I’ll continue the series.
What I do wish was that it went in judgement order beginning with the seals instead of the trumpets. The story kind of does but the judgments don’t. Perhaps there is a reason and I’ll get to it. It’s just hard to wrap my brain around the rapture and then the first trumpet judgement happens. No build up and chaos like you’d expect. Some yes. And the bad dude is just as expected. Calm, calculating, smooth talking, rescuing, helping, restoring peace etc. Give you chills because I can see it happening. The lies are believed and truth is banned.

Recommended
This is a great read. It really challenged me and my walk with Christ. I really appreciated stressing Uesus Christ is Lord and we should seek Him regarding every decision. I also like the realistic story line. There are no heroes or heroines. Just regular people choosing Christ even in fear and loss. I did struggle with some of the children being left behind and Mrs. Alvarez. Why was she left behind? Maybe I missed the explanation in the story.

A clear warning!
This book describes plainly what could happen if mercy and favor are preached without repentance... and what the consequences could be of blindly complying with governmental decrees. We are not called to be perfect but we are called to share that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He reigns supreme.

An amazing read
I love this story! I couldn't put it down. It's like Left Behind, but so much better. I'm invested now.
