After graduating from the University of Florida - Go Gators! - I attended law school at Stetson University. I spent the next 10 years practicing law. I also spent some time counseling mental health patients in an out patient psychiatric hospital. But, until having my own children, my most rewarding job by far was licensing families to receive abused and neglected foster children.
So, that brings us to today. In my spare time, while my children were napping, I started editing novels for other authors. The more I edited, the more ready I felt to write my own. I just needed a new and exciting story line. Once Hey There, Delilah was conceived, the ball starting rolling very quickly. I hooked up with fellow author Andria Large, and we decided to tackle it together. Best decision ever!
I spend most of my free time with my husband and children. But when I get some "me" time, I love to read. Mostly romance and erotica, but I don't discriminate - a good book is a good book, no matter the genre.

FOUR STARS FOR THIS TALE OF DESTINY, TERROR AND PASSION!
If you've read M.D. Saperstein's Taboo Love series that was co-authored with Andria Large, you're going to read this and recognize the funny banter, explicit steam and fast paced storyline. What you're not going to get is light-hearted romance. No, sir. This is a real departure.
DARK.
EROTIC.
SUSPENSEFUL.
RAW.
This is classified as Erotic Romantic Suspense, but it's bordering on "Thriller".
Vance Summers is a homicide detective who's working the most terrifying case of his career. There's a sadistic serial killer on the loose and if things weren't bad enough, the killer sets his sights on Vance putting those closest to him in harm's way.
Vance lives with his four, life-long friends, Mike (who is deployed overseas), Dayne, Ryder and Tripp. He's got a beloved sister, nieces, and a younger brother who he would give the world for. He's also just met the woman of his dreams, Melina, and they embark on a love affair amidst horror and danger.
Though the tale is mostly Vance's, the rest of his friends have stories that are integral. For me, the real focal point of this story was the love between the men. The solidarity and brotherhood of these four men (five, counting Mike who is not there) was beautiful and fun, and slightly tinged with homo-erotic undertones.
Even with the chaos and darkness, they all manage to find their love, and the story is generously peppered with erotic scenes that aren't just centered around Melina and Vance.
The men and their relationships with each other are well-rounded and fleshed out, but the heroine and the other female characters are a little two-dimensional, which did cause me to not really identify or sympathize with them, which in turn, made the romance-aspect somewhat unsatisfying. Which is why I would recommend this story to anyone looking for something more erotic and dark as opposed to someone looking for hearts and flowers. This is gritty.
It culminates with a suspenseful climax that leaves the reader cheering-- only to suddenly gape and gasp at the twisting, cliffhanger ending. I can't wait to find out what's happening to Vance and the guys (and Melina) with the next book,

I really liked reading the book. The POV was a bit odd but I just ignored it. Then came the ending and I have no idea how to feel about the book. I guess I have to read book II to figure it out.

If you are a fan of Megan's books then this will without a doubt BLOW YOU AWAY !!!. It has a VERY different feel than "A Taboo Love Series", its grittier, edgy......
A warning for the faint hearted please read the books description BEFORE you purchase as oh boy does this story cover some real topical subjects.....murder and rape. I have a strong constitution so we were good for me to continue !!.
Continuing, the story is based around Vance our hero, he's a homicide detective and Melina our heroine, she's a dance instructor. The story surrounds how their worlds collide and everything escalates from there.
I loved that this book had been written in sections in both in the first and the third person. I am very appreciative of authors who "set the scene" then provide dialogue from the character. Just mentioning that in-case that's not your thing. Winner from me so far !!.
I REALLY don't want to give too much away as you need to buy and see for yourselves my fellow readers. I will say that this book will have you feeling a myriad of emotions from shock to excitement.
I loved the way this story has several other little stories running alongside and occurring at the same time as we read about Vance and Melina. The smaller stories involve the "back characters" within this book.....sounds interesting ?, yup it is. It just really worked for me.
I REALLY want books on ALL of the other characters that I read about within this story - Tripp, Dayne, Ryder & Mike....oh yeah, there was some serious testosterone going on here ladies and gentleman. We have some very hot and steamy sex scenes both m/f and m/m.....again another winner for me !!!!.
I am giving this beauty a solid 4 Stars. The reason it did not give 5 shinny ones was because it ends on a cliffy !!! Prepare yourselves.....I bellowed NO !!! to my kindle. But take a breath as I have been reliably informed we will be having book 2 as soon as Megan gets her literary genius together !!.
Well hopefully this review should wet your appetites peeps !! All you need now if it takes your fancy is to pop onto Amazon and just get clicking.

Wow! This is a dark, raw, gritty, erotic, and an action packed thriller from start to finish.

Detective Vance Summers has just begun the most upsetting case of his life the day before he rescues Melina. A serial killer is brutally murdering families and has now set his sights on Vance. Unfortunately, the ones closest to him, are now in danger too.
Vance and Melina have a strong instant connection. They decide to try to make it work but with his long work hours and not opening up to her, Melina is not sure they can make it. Vance has never been happier in his personal life but with his more intense growing nightmares this killer has brought on, he isn't sure Melina will give them a chance. Can Vance keep Melina, friends and family safe from this killer? Can Vance open up to Melina and share his secrets?

I am certainly a fan of Megan's work and this one is certainly no exception to the rule. This is a fabulous combination of romance, suspense, mystery and off the charts sexual chemistry. You will not be lacking in the hot men department when you indulge in this series! I loved the cast of characters that have been introduced.
Our main man Vance is quite the package. He is a homicide detective that is all that man you could ever want. He meets the beautiful dancer Melina under life threatening circumstances. They realize from the beginning that they share a connection and undeniable spark between them. Unfortunately for them they become the victims of their past and not only are they threatened but the people they love are also affected. Be warned this has a crazy cliffhanger that will have you wondering what the hell you just read .......and reread ! I am anxiously awaiting book two to see where Megan will take us on this crazy messed up journey!

This book is a MUST READ! It's packed with hunky men, lovable characters, heart-stopping moments and of course steamy sex scenes of the M/F AND M/M variety. I loved it. Great debut solo novel!

Ermagod…this story took me by absolute surprise, and just kept luring me deeper and deeper into it the further I got. An absolute shock to my system, completely different than anything I’ve read as of late, and the biggest mind blow of cliff hangers ever, so that’s my warning right off the bat! That being said, I’m still tongue twisted, trying to figure out what the heck just happened, but loved the hell out of it!
Vance, our sexy as hell detective, is the main focus, and his family and friends that surround him in the chaos that becomes their lives. He’s working a case that consumes his every thought, and turns into a real life nightmare. In the midst of all the darkness, he finds his so called saving grace, a woman named Melina, who he happens to come across under unfortunate circumstances.
Being single for the last two years because of his job duties, he doesn’t quite know what to do with Melina, and his mess of emotions. Luckily, he lives with his gang of best friends, who pretty much tell him to stop being a loser, and admit he wants Melina and everything that comes along with her. They’re all thrown into the fire when a serial killer targets Vance and his loved ones, and they ban together to protect one another.
The secondary characters in this story are beyond awesome. I loved every single one of them in their own way, and you get pieces of their stories as well, which is a nice surprise. I can’t express how super excited I am to get my grabby hands on the next book, because after that ending, I’m gritting my teeth thinking about how this could possibly turn out.

The debut solo outing for MD Saperstein (who previously wrote the Taboo Series along with Andria Large), Destiny Disrupted will keep you on your toes and leave you with an ending that will blow you away.
Vance Summers works for the LAPD as a Homicide Detective. His new case, has him on edge as it goes from a disturbing case to a person vendetta. Along the way he meets Melina Higgins. Melina is a dancer who meets the handsome Detective Summers after he saves her life.
There is an instant connection between the two but Vance's life is his job. Melina has been burned before by the boyfriend who found other things in life more important than her. Vance feels the pull towards Melina and so the two decide to give their feelings a chance. Summers isn't use to sharing his emotions and his job with anyone other than his roommates, so tensions rise between the two as Melina feels she is left in the dark as the case Vance is working on becomes a little more personal for everyone involved in his life.
The cast of characters are fun and exciting. Twists and turns are littered throughout the book and by the end... oh the suspense! Although this book can be read as a stand alone, the ending of the book, although wrapped up - it is a bit of a cliffhanger (if you could call it that) But there is a book two in the works!

So when I started this book, I was already familiar with the author's work, but as a duo writing partnership. This being her first solo work, I was immediately intrigued. Little did I know that this suspenseful, nail-biting, wonderful story would captivate me and pull me in as much as it did. I did experience a bit of a slower start but that was immediately set aside as the story took off really quickly. I will warn you, this book ends with the daddy of all cliffhangers that left me upside down and begging for more!
We first meet Vance. Hot, sexy, god-like detective who is being called into a case that will change his life, and the friends he calls family, forever.
Then along comes Melina the beautiful whimsical heroine who is just driving when an unfortunate car accident brings these two together.
When their two worlds collide, Vance must find a way to protect Melina and his friends from a serial killer, and in the process, all find love and comfort in one another.
This is mostly told through Vance's POV, but I absolutely love that Tripp, Dayne, and Ryder (among others) do have their stories told as well! Pick one. Pick them all. You will end up falling in love with all the guys!

Right ok.....um, I don't know where to begin with this review. I’m feeling all discombobulated!!!! This book blew all other cliff-hanger endings clean out of the water - I need Destiny Revealed like yesterday :(
After a bit of a slow start this story had me completely engrossed to the point where I didn't want to put it down even to sleep. For such a meaty story it was one of my quickest reads to date!
We follow Detective Vance Summers as he & his partner are assigned to try & solve one of the most horrific series of murders you can imagine. As the case becomes personal Vance must try to track down the killer while protecting the woman he loves, his loved ones & the friends who are more like his brothers.
I loved the back story with the other guys Dayne, Mike, Ryder, Tripp & Vance's brother Xander. Who are all battling their own demons & we get to hear from their POV at certain points in the book.
The women in the story also aren't a pushover & I experienced the blossoming romance between Vance & Melina. I may have sighed when Melina said:
"I can't imagine ever being without you."
All in all I couldn't recommend this romantic suspense with a twist more. One click today!!

I seriously don't know where to start. I finished this book a little over a day ago and still can not wrap my head around it. That being said, I am obviously MIND BLOWN. I can guarantee you have not had another book go out with such a BANG.
From the very begining, I loved Detective Vance. He exudes so much strength and confidence. Top that off with some rough edges and sexiness, and WOW. But Vance is also battling his own demons inside. The case he is working on is taking a major toll on him. Through out this case, you may think you know what is coming but I would say expect the unexpected.
Melina blew my mind, she is one hel of a woman. She and Vance hit it off right away, Even though Vance is our Alpha Male, Melina is confident, in control and sexy.
"you gonna come for me Vance?" she asked, her voice husky from lust and diesire.
Through this entire book, I was surprised at every turn. Just when you think you got it figured out BAM, your like WTF?
I loved loved LOVED this book. I like being surprised and shocked and left jaw dropped. Those are all factors in my 5 stars. The rest is the fact that the plot was thick and well executed. The book is over all very well put together also.

Okay i have read M.D 's other books she co-authored with Andria large and was so excited to see this one, but i did not expect this. I got this last night and just finished it the story was so good and i loved all the characters and especially the dynamic between the male friends, it is a departure from the lighthearted fun of her previous books but if you are looking for a great romantic suspense this is the book for you. I would advise people to read the disclaimer as there is a disturbing rape scene and some violence but this book is so worth reading. Dark, suspenseful ,hot men hotter sex scenes great banter and an ending that will leave you asking WTF and when can i get the next one i cannot wait for the next book.

I think I'm going crazy.
Should I rate low because I got a little crazy or should I rate high because I got crazy?
One thing's for sure though, MD Saperstein sure know how to keep her readers guessing and on the edge of their seats with this book.

3.75 What the Hell Stars!!!
I really don’t know where to begin. In honesty I’m still trying to process the whole story.
Right from the offset I was hooked on the story line. M.D Saperstein drew me in with the meeting of Detective Vance Summers and Melina Higgins and kept me wanting more throughout. I am not a great fan of reading in the third person but it did work in this book, although I think I would have preferred to see the story right from their POV’s.
Vance was a dream guy, he was a good man, who had a good job and wasn’t afraid of showing his gentle side. I also loved the secondary characters and it was great to have parts of the stories from their perspective as well. Dayne, was a close favorite to Vance and I really hope he gets his own book as I need to hear his story.
I also liked Melina, she knew what she wanted and stuck by her man through thick and thin. There were pretty graphic parts in the story, in terms of the murders Vance was investigating and I think if you are at all squeamish towards these things this book wouldn’t be for you.
There is also a MM scene in the storyline which has been a first for me. I tend to steer clear from MM stories as I never really thought it would be my thing. This was handled very well and I have to say for my first one, it wasn’t so bad.

I really don’t know where to begin. In honesty I’m still trying to process the whole story.
Right from the offset I was hooked on the story line. M.D Saperstein drew me in with the meeting of Detective Vance Summers and Melina Higgins and kept me wanting more throughout. I am not a great fan of reading in the third person but it did work in this book, although I think I would have preferred to see the story right from their POV’s.
Vance was a dream guy, he was a good man, who had a good job and wasn’t afraid of showing his gentle side. I also loved the secondary characters and it was great to have parts of the stories from their perspective as well. Dayne, was a close favorite to Vance and I really hope he gets his own book as I need to hear his story.
I also liked Melina, she knew what she wanted and stuck by her man through thick and thin. There were pretty graphic parts in the story, in terms of the murders Vance was investigating and I think if you are at all squeamish towards these things this book wouldn’t be for you.

Wow! This is a dark, raw, gritty, erotic, and an action packed thriller from start to finish. I loved it!!

Holy smokes! I'm speechless right now.
I'm going to try to do this review without spoiling anything. It's so good that you will have to experience everything for yourself. The only times I had to put this book done we're if I had to go to work, run errands and my kindle needed to be charged. It's up there with other books that I couldn't wait to get home to read.
Vance is a detective for the LAPD and he is working on this case that involves a serial killer. By chance he meets Melina during a traffic accident. They hit it off right away. Not only do you see how they develop as a couple, but you get a glimpse into the lives of Vance's lifelong friends too. I could say so much more but I risk giving things away and I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. It's the perfect blend of romance and suspense/mystery.
So it does end on a bit of a cliffhanger BUT it's totally worth it. I'm ready for the next book when it is available.

This is an amazing new novel for MD Saperstein for her solo debut! Destiny Disrupted is a great Romantic Suspense novel. Vance Summers is an immediately likeable man who meets Melina in a dramatic way. I don't want to give anything away with this review, but this novel pulled me in right away and kept my attention throughout the entire book. The story is more than just a novel about Vance and Melina. It is a story about a group of men who put friends above all else and how they deal with situations that arise when a friend is in trouble. I can honestly say that I did NOT want to put the book down! So addicting! And brace yourself for the end!!! My jaw literally dropped when I read it, and I had to go back and reread it again just to verify that I actually read what I did! DON'T RUIN IT FOR YOURSELF OR OTHERS BY READING SPOILERS ABOUT THE ENDING! The ride of the story is worth the wait to get to the jaw dropping ending!! Happy Reading!

I can not believe you left us with that ending. Lol.
I truly loved reading this book. The character's all seemed so real to me. The story line was good. The characters have a relationship from childhood most only dream or read (hence my love for readiing) about. Some of the characters did deserve there own books, in my opinion. Most don't get over past hurtful experiences that easy easy, so a book of their own would have been more to my liking. I also would have like a little more information on the investigation to be included.
But the ending blew my away. Can't wait to read part two. I am def a new fan. Maybe some more answers will come to light.

WOW!! this book is crazy good, and the ending, I really don't know what to say about that, it was NOT at all what I expected and I want to know what happens next now soooooooooooo badly! As for the rest of the book I loved it there was lots of hot men, hot sex, suspense and gore which really made this a perfect book for me and one I would definitely recommend. :-)

I have no idea how to rate this book so I am going middle of the road. It is different from MD Saperstein's other books. It has a lot of characters and you get a snippet of all their POV at least once in the book even though the main focus is on Vance and Melina. While I like multiple POVs, it just made the book a little all over the place. And then, you have the mindfuck at the end, I mean, really WTF?!?!?!? So yea I am going to read the next book because I want to know what the hell just happened but I hope that will not be another cliffy.

Loved loved loved this one. I liked the introduction of each character and getting a peek into their lives. Seeing how they all connect it was beautiful. The ending reminded me a little of another book I read but it still had me hooked. You can't help but love each character and want more of them. Definitely one of my favorites this year.
If you want a hot and sweet book. With some crazy mystery and a mind twist at the end. Pick up this book. You will love it

OMG what a brilliant book had me hooked from the beginning I really couldn't put it down all the characters were brilliant and might I add HOT the plot and the story was amazingly done and a MASSIVE w.t.f moment at the end totally messed with me. brilliantly done amazing read loved it can't wait for the next one well deserved 5* rating
