Elwin Robinson is the #1 Amazon Best Seller in Genetics on both Amazon US and UK.

He spent a decade teaching natural health through his online courses and YouTube channel — until his own health collapsed in his late thirties.

Conventional medicine had no answers. Genetic testing did. It revealed severe lead toxicity that no standard blood test had ever detected, and it changed the trajectory of his life and career.

That experience — of being failed by the system and then finding the root cause hiding in his own DNA — became the foundation for Advanced Health Genetics, the genetic health analysis system Elwin built to help others stop guessing and start targeting the real issues behind unexplained chronic health problems.

Since then, Elwin has helped thousands of people worldwide decode their genetic blueprint and take precise, personalized action to reclaim their health. He is the creator of the Rejuvenate Blueprint framework, the Hormetics Hormonal Optimization System, and host of the Rejuvenate Blueprint Podcast.

He is the Author of the Rejuvenate Blueprint series - a comprehensive framework for identifying and addressing the root causes of chronic health issues. Each book stands alone, but together they provide a complete system for transforming your health from the ground up.

I was really excited by this book to begin with. I loved the information in the opening chapters and, particularly, the four simple pieces of advice given at the beginning. They felt sensible, achievable and relevant.

Unfortunately, I found the book increasingly terrifying and it began to feel as though achieving good health required an enormous amount of knowledge, money, time and access to testing. Maybe not aimed at your average health-conscious person who is simply trying to eat well and look after themselves. Perhaps it would be more relevant to someone who is already struggling with an underlying illness and is looking for answers beyond conventional medicine.

I'm glad I read it, and there is plenty of interesting information here, but I think I preferred the book I thought it was going to be from those first few chapters.

I don’t feel like I can rate this book as I am conflicted between what is obviously a well researched, knowledgeable book and being disappointed that it isn’t the book I had hoped to read.

The Nutrient Gap: Why Your Body is Secretly Starving is a comprehensive and thought-provoking exploration of the often overlooked role that nutrient deficiencies play in long-term health, energy, and metabolic function. Elwin Robinson presents a compelling case that many persistent health concerns may stem not simply from calories or diet trends, but from the body's unmet nutritional needs.

One of the book's greatest strengths is its emphasis on understanding why optimal nutrition matters at the cellular level. By explaining the connection between nutrients, mitochondrial health, metabolism, and overall vitality, Robinson helps readers see the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms.

Despite covering complex scientific concepts, the writing remains approachable and well organized. The discussion of hidden deficiencies, nutrient depletion, and metabolic health is presented in a way that encourages readers to think more critically about long term wellness rather than searching for quick fixes.

I especially appreciated the practical focus throughout the book. Rather than promoting unrealistic solutions, Robinson encourages readers to develop a deeper understanding of nutrition and make informed choices that support sustainable health. The emphasis on restoring the body's natural capacity for energy and resilience makes the book particularly valuable for those seeking lasting lifestyle improvements.

The breadth of research is impressive, and the book encourages readers to view nutrition through a more holistic lens. Whether discussing modern dietary habits, cellular function, or the importance of supporting mitochondrial health, the information is presented with the goal of empowering readers to take greater ownership of their well-being.

The Nutrient Gap is an excellent resource for anyone interested in nutrition, preventive health, metabolic wellness, and understanding how foundational nutrition influences nearly every aspect of physical health. It offers an informative and practical perspective that encourages readers to nourish their bodies from the inside out.
