About the author

Olof Landström, born 1943, is a Finnish illustrator and animator. He has also produced animated television series for children.

Olof Landström was born in Turku, Finland in 1943. In his teens, he moved with his family to Stockholm and started at Konstfack, the line for advertising and book crafts. After graduating in 1963, he worked on illustration assignments and also came out with three children's books at Bonniers. In 1969, he met Lena, his future wife and collaborator. Most of his books are written in collaboration with her, Lena Landström.

Buu ja Bää ovat lähdössä Böön juhliin, mutta sitä ennen tulee laittautua juhlatamineisiin, muistella hieman tanssiaskeleita ja paketoida lahja! Nämä lampaat tietäen pieniltä kommelluksilta ei vältytä.
Miksi kummassa näitä kirjoja ei ole suomennettu tämän enempää? Nämä ovat kerrassaan loistavia pienten lasten kuvakirjoja.

I don't know what it is about these little books that Dex (6yo) likes so much - perhaps the simple, but fun story lines or the cute illustrations? Anyhow, in this story Boo and Baa are getting ready to go to a friend's birthday party. Dance practice and present wrapping ensue.

Illustrations (as aforementioned) are cute.
