I was pre warned by Amy that this one could destroy me so I was fully prepared! I enjoyed the adventure, action, romance and found family along with some twists and turns.
I am just so sad to say goodbye.

It has broken me, put me back together and broken me again! And I'm totally here for it!💚
Seriously one of the best Romantasy series I've ever read👌🏻

Honestly so bittersweet I have loved this series from the 1st page of Book 1 and my love for it has grown with each book! So lovely to see the conclusion but so very sad its over!
My last trip to Elfayne was the best ever!🙌🏼
Amy is simply a wonderful writer whose beautiful words breathe life into all her characters
It has been a privilege to ARC read this wonderful conclusion of a truly magical series thank you Amy for letting us live in your world 🥰

I've absolutely loved being a part of this world and discovering Elfayne, with the first 2 books being some of my fave romantasy reads! I couldn't wait to jump back in with characters I've grown to love, and will admit I went in with very high expectations.
Sadly, this final instalment didn't grab me in quite the same way, and I struggled to connect with the story, not finding the same emotional connection. The pacing felt a little slower, and I think I went in expecting more action.
That being said, I liked being back with these characters, and I felt the ending was handled well, wrapping things up so nicely.
I loved the first two, which made this one harder because I desperately wanted to love the finale too. So whilst this book wasn't for me, I have loved this series and think Amy has created an incredible world & a group of seriously loveable characters.

Oh my lordy.
Now, in Amy's defence, she has, numerous times, told us that this book will emotionally destroy us. Did I believe her? Not to the extent I should have.
It was such a perfect ending to a series and a world that I absolutely fell in love with. I have adored getting to know Elfayne and these characters and I am so sad it's over.
Expect action, romance, complex characters, found family, twists and turns that ruin your soul, and the most satisfying ending that I could have asked for.
Thank you Amy for the early copy. It was perfect.

The easiest 5 ⭐️ read this year. This is the 3rd and final book of @areadingwrites Scottish based romantasy series. A Courage of the Chosen is an absolutely brilliant end to a trilogy with such heartbreak, character development, plot twists, and so much more. This was my most anticipated read and it exceeded all my expectations. As a whole this series is 6⭐️ read for me. I’m so sad that it has come to an end but I will never stop recommending this book series. Thank you @areadingwrites for allowing me to ARC read this series it’s been an honor💚

What an incredible conclusion to an outstanding series. I’ve been looking forward to this book all year and it did not disappoint. I don’t honestly know what Amy could have done to improve upon it (even if she ripped my heart out). I’m broken. My heart is in Elfayne and I’m genuinely devastated to live in this human realm 😂
The found family dynamic of this series is top tier. Erin is my new favourite, Finneus is my old favourite. And Brodie has my heart forever more. As does Amy Reading.

This one picks up fast where the last book left off. The story continues to follow Elsie on her journey to save her kingdom. There’s also a heavy focus on her budding relationship with Cal, who continues to prove himself as more than just a broody warrior. Also plenty of focus on the false prince, Tavish, and his obsession with her and his need to make her his. This book had me literally laughing out loud and I definitely cried in public while reading it. The ending was so perfect. I’m gonna miss these characters for sure.

What a beautiful finish to the series. Hits all emotions and the bonds that the characters had felt very real. If you’re looking for a romance, battles, royal politics, magic, and hints of banter this series is one you should check out !
