As the mysterious origin of the “Saint of Suicides” deepens, up-from-the-gutter challenger Straniero finally gets in the ring. But he’s not fighting in the sold-out arena in front of millions of adoring fans – he’s fighting The Beast in a life-or-death street brawl that will forever change his destiny.
Lee Bermejo is a professional illustrator and comic book artist. He has done work for Marvel and DC Comics, Men's Health, Max Mara, Top Cow productions, Wizard Entertainment, and a crappy film called Ultraviolet (hey, whaddayagonnado). Talking about himself in the third person makes him feel more important than he really is. Anyway, enough about the blogger, let's talk art!
I'm craving for some Suiciders. Now that I've read this. I don't have any more issues to read. Issue 5 hasn't come out yet. I liked the duality and symmetry in this issue. I feel and have felt that the two protagonists are going to meet and possibly fight in future issues. I hope my feeling is right! The noir-ish feel of the former issues is still present. I love the gladiator fights. This is just an awesome series!
