The Kendrick Brothers #2
Ice Devil
He plays like the devil. He mates like a beast.
When the human girl they sent to interview me teased me one too many times with that perfect body, I didn't just spank her ass red and mate her like the wild beast her scent unleashed in me.
I made her beg for it first.
Publisher's Note: Ice Devil is the second book in The Kendrick Brothers series but can be read as a standalone. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

Captivating read, terrific characters and plot that will hold you engrossed from start to finish
Beck is the big name in the hockey team along with his brother, they are the men to watch and the Puck Bunnies are drooling from behind the Perspex guard all desperate to meet one of them after the game.
Unusually the interviewer is Sloane who is a woman that cannot be shocked by anything any of these characters get up to either inside the changing room or outside and shifter Beck has never met a woman like her, that was not ready to throw herself at his feet or jump into bed no she was an enigma.
There is a serious spark between them that has been apparent since their initial interview after the winning game and for the first time in years his wolf actually had taken notice and was suddenly wide awake and making himself known and Beck knew that this was no coincidence.
This is definitely a dance between two very different individuals, Beck who is a wolf shifter and has known nothing but success in his love of sports and the abilities he has which are obviously enhanced because of his inner wolf abilities.
Sloan is all woman and has leaned to stand on her own two feet, she has not taken the easier option via the actions of sleeping with people that can get you to the top. She is all hard work and sass and vinegar so that she is never beaten down by the mostly male sport personnel she interviews and then write articles on regarding their sporting expertise, prowess and general attitude towards the game and their opponents.
She has quite the reputation as being brutally honest and has found that her expertise at martial arts has come in extremely helpful on several occasional when attempted assaults have been made against her.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Hot and getting Hotter!
I love this story,I don't usually read sport stories of any kind but Piper Stone is one of exceptions!I think I fell in love with the Master's Series and couldn't wait for the Kendrick Brothers .Just like the Master brothers,Ford and Beck had their work cut out for them too, with the lies, jealousy, and the haters.Sloane is a reporter who prints the truth and she is fair and hates the people who are only out for money.Sloane was just trying to do her job but it was hard because her boss is her ex who is a jerk and he only sees$$ when it comes to Sloane and him climbing the ladder.Sloane wasn't a sports reporter but Matt rope it her in to it ,so she learned everything she could and on Beck. This is one hot story,it moves fast, not boring and this story is well written and just keeps you on the edge of your seat and you just want to fight for the injustice in the world!

Review of advance copy
I instantly liked Beck—he had this fun, playful personality and didn't deny what he was all about. And boy was he in for it, with the feisty and no BS attitude Sloane has. This has to be one of the most unforgettable meet-cutes ever, and she handled it... well, as best she could, considering. The sparks between them were extremely explosive, and their witty banter had a fun, playful tone. Their will-they-won't-they was the perfect torture that I secretly love. It's been a while since I was a fan of shifter books, but these hockey romances have completely won me back.

He’s the Devil on and off the Ice
I just loved Beck’s character, he’s fun with a no-nonsense attitude and knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to show it!
Sloane knows temptation when she sees it and fights this wild attraction for a little while but Beck with his super sexy ways soon wins her over.
Their passion is an on off secret and when betrayal hits, can they both fight for what is the most important thing in their lives, true love?
A super-hot read with lots of entertaining and sizzling moments.

The MMC is the next brother. The FMC is a sports reporter that crosses his path. The connections were there and instant. As in the previous book this was heavily contemporary paranormal. However there was knotting this time and a partial shift. However nothing fun happened with him in partial shift. It was also a breath of fresh air to have the MMC on the opposite side of the supposed betrayal. Still a touch too much with the words again. Yet I was truly enthralled and locked in. Lastly I received as an arc but am not required to leave this review.

They were fated for each other..
Reporter Sloane Winters interviewed Beck Kendrick, the latest shifter hockey star. The two hit it off, their chemistry off the charts. It eventually becomes apparent that nefarious outside influences are manipulating the two in an effort to undermine their relationship and shifter participation in sports. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

Reluctant Reporter
Sloan and Beck could no longer deny the attraction between them but circumstance keep getting in the way. While he finally knows what he wants, she is reluctant to get serious. This was a fun and interesting story that kept me invested from the start. I kept wanting more!.

It was just supposed to be an interview. One Sloane really didn’t want to do, but it was her job. And there he was, Beck, in all his considerable glory! What’s a girl to do but fall hard. Though he may have fallen even harder for his Wild Pony! Be still my beating heart ❤️🔥!

Goal!!!
Sloane is a reporter who is not into sports at all or men at the moment and Breck is a rising hockey star, shifter and gorgeous and knows it. These 2 clash on site and nearly combust from their chemistry! Their "courtship" is intense, hot and a great read!!

This is the second in the Kendrick Brothers series, it is about the middle brother, Beck who has just been chosen to play on Ford’s team. When he is interviewed by Sloane, the pair have instant chemistry and compete in a battle of wills. The pair have an intense attraction that both are trying to play off as one night. Someone is trying to stop shifters in the hockey league and Sloane is determined not the be the tool they use. Beck takes time to realize that she is his mate, it does not take as of much as his brother. Looking forward to Cole's story next.

August 30, 2026Talk about sparks and snappy repartee from the very beginning! These two are just so dynamic, I just loved every minute of the storyline. It's a hot and steamy romance, that's got and underlying theme of discrimination and intrigue to prevent fairness. Loved the characters and the world building. A highly entertaining read!.

Ice Devil is the 2nd book in the Kendrick Brothers series and follows Beck ‘The Devil’ Kendrick and reporter Sloane Winters.
Sloane is a sports reporter in Chicago that is sent to interview the Kendrick Brothers. They are the rising hockey stars and shifters that were drafted to the same franchise the Portland Hellions. She ends up interviewing Beck and lets say you could immediately feel their undeniable chemistry. I absolutely loved how their story unfolds. The drama, tension, back and forth witty and playful banter that turns into so much more. He realizes she's his mate and is falling for her. As they grow closer she discovers there are people behind the scenes that want to distroy her reputation, the Kendrick's as well as all shifters in sports and they're willing to lie, manipulate, bribe and even blackmail to achieve their goals. What happens when he's convinced she's the one who betrayed and used him? Can she get the evidence to prove who's behind the corruption or will those involved ruin any chance at their happily ever after?

Ice Devil by Piper Stone was such a fun mix of hockey, shifter romance, and serious chemistry! Beck Kendrick is a talented NHL goalie and a wolf shifter who definitely lives up to the “Ice Devil” name. He’s confident, intense, and has that possessive alpha attitude I love in this kind of romance.
One detail I really enjoyed was the opening hockey scene. Beck is completely locked in during a crucial game, reading every tiny movement of the opposing player before making the save. Then, right after the win, he catches the scent of a woman—jasmine, citrus, and vanilla—and suddenly his wolf is paying attention for a completely different reason. 😂
I also liked the tension between Beck and the feisty reporter who shows up looking specifically for him. She isn't intimidated by him, which makes their interactions even more entertaining.
The hockey setting mixed with the shifter world worked really well, and Beck's protective, dominant side definitely brought the heat. If you like alpha shifters, hockey players, fated mates, and a spicy romance with plenty of attitude, this one is definitely worth checking out!

Book two of "The Kendrick Brothers". Beck Kendrick has always played in his big brother Ford's shadow, but his time to shine has arrived. The star goalie nicknamed "The Devil" backstopping the Portland Hellions is a wall of muscle and bone with an ego just as big. When the Chicago Tribune sent Sloane Masters to Phoenix to interview the Kendrick brothers it was a last minute assignment that meant getting out of Chicago for a few days. Sloane was used to putting up with testosterone-charged athletes - just part of the job. When Beck came sauntering out covered by a small towel, she took it in stride. When the towel dropped and she was forced to finish the interview with a completely naked goaltender, she pretended to be unphased. When the two find each other in the hotel bar, much later, the chemistry sparks hot enough to set off the sprinklers. Good book !!!

Review of an advance copy received from the author.
This was a delightful story; I don't often read sports novels, but I enjoyed this one about The Kendrick Brothers. We are taken into the lives of the Ford brothers, Beck, and Sloane. Sloane is a sports journalist and interviews them. It doesn't take long before Beck develops feelings for her and she for him. He isn't sure if she chooses her career or a future together. An exciting romantic story that I read with pleasure.

Ice Devil is a hot and steamy Alpha Shifter romance and book two in the Kendrick Brothers series.
FMC Sloane Winters has come to interview hockey player Beck the “Devil” Kendrick, and the moment they meet chemistry slams them both.
As far as Beck is concerned, MINE, and Sloane suddenly finds herself becoming very over-heated which was going to make their interview very interesting indeed.
I enjoyed this engagingly written story with its drama, family dynamics, humor, angst, and intense mating scenes.
A good read that kept me engaged with the characters until their HEA arrived.

The shifter hockey saga continues. And what an absolutely fabulous book this is. The second Kendrick brother, Beck or the Ice Devil, is having the time of his life playing and winning in the newly established hockey team in Portland when he gets interviewed by a vision of a girl, a proper whirlwind of a sports reporter, no nonsense woman, who then slowly becomes a steady fixture in his life, not only professionally.
It's just a matter of time when the anti-shifter politics threaten everything the Kendrick brothers worked hard to achieve and the help unexpectedly comes from Sloane, whose journalistic connections, charm and uncommon intelligence could save the day.
The book is hot, charming, emotional, very clever, filled with banter and absolutely highly recommended. I loved every single page.

Give me a hockey player who is also an alpha shifter and I’m apparently supposed to be able to act normal?! Because absolutely not. 😂🔥
Ice Devil had everything I want in a spicy paranormal romance; an intense alpha, possessiveness, chemistry that practically jumps off the page, and enough spice to keep things VERY interesting. The hockey setting was such a fun addition, and I loved the whole shifter element mixed into it.
And let’s talk about that alpha energy… 👀 There’s something about a man who knows exactly what he wants and is completely unapologetic about claiming his woman. The obsession, the protectiveness, the tension… YES. Give me all of it.
This was a quick, spicy, addictive read that definitely delivered on the 🔥. If you’re into hockey romance, shifters, possessive alpha men, and plenty of spice…definitely add this one to your TBR!

This is Book 2 of The Kendrick Brothers
It is a paranormal shifter standalone romance.
I really loved this one. I'm not a big hockey reading fan but add the wolf shifter aspect and loads of steam and I loved it. The storyline was great and it was nice to see the guys from the first book make an appearance in this one. I loved the banter, intrigue and character progression as well.
This is shaping up to be a great series for Piper!.

I am not much of a hockey fan but I loved this story. It has a great storyline that is presented in a way that made for a great read. Both Sloane and Beck are strong characters that are well developed and the temperature between them goes from 🔥to🔥🔥🔥in seconds. The hockey games are full of action with violence mixed in, which is typical. The drama surrounding shifters in sports is taking on a life of its own with Beck and Sloane being front and center. It’s a story worth reading.
