Quick MC Romance

This was an MC age gap romance that hit the spot. Sydney and Clint met under circumstances that left a mark on both of them. She was a cleaning lady at Clint’s bar and he was the MC President. Clint can’t get her off his mind and he does give her fair warning as to what he is all about and it doesn’t seem to bother Sydney. Clint may be a President who has to deal with who hurt his bartender and trashed his bar but he showed a soft side for Sydney and her daughter. Well worth the read.

One of the highlights of this story is watching Clint embrace not only Sydney but also her daughter, Ava. His protective instincts extend naturally to both of them, and those quieter family moments balance the intensity of the motorcycle club backdrop beautifully. Rather than hiding who he is, Clint is honest about his life, giving Sydney the chance to choose him with open eyes. That honesty adds authenticity to their relationship and makes their growing trust even more satisfying.

The supporting cast also helps bring the Bloomfield MC world to life, creating anticipation for future books in the series. While there's action, danger, and plenty of sparks between the main characters, the heart of the story is found in two people who believed love had passed them by, only to discover it when they least expected it.

My Grumpy Biker by Summer Rose is a fun, fast-paced motorcycle club romance that combines a tough, protective hero with a softer, heartwarming love story. Set in the backdrop of the Bloomfield: Motorcycle club series, we are introduced to two people who seem like opposites at first. The grumpy biker hero has the classic tough exterior: guarded, intimidating, and used to handling problems with strength while the single mom heroine brings warmth and resilience to the story, creating a nice contrast to his darker, more closed-off personality. One of the things that I really enjoyed about this novella was the emotional appeal of the relationship. The romance moved quickly, fitting the instalove style, but the connection between the characters still delivers plenty of sweet and protective moments. Overall, My Grumpy Biker was an entertaining read for fans like me of protective alpha heroes, age-gap romance, and sweet-with-spice MC stories.

best I can say is okay.

I really wanted to love this book but couldn’t. It was okay. The characters were sweet. Sydney is a cleaner who goes to work and finds the bar destroyed and her boss beaten. She calls an ambulance and waits with Walt till it gets there and then starts cleaning. Clint the owner finds her there and stays til she is finished. Clint is attracted immediately and pursues her while trying to find the men who hurt Walt. At first I thought it was just a quirk that Summer Rose didn’t use contractions in this story but once I noticed it, it became annoying and pull me out of the story. Summer is a great writer and I love her books but this actually felt robotic it didn’t flow almost like it was written by AI. I hope this was a fluke and not her new writing style.

This is great new series featuring the Bloomfield MC. Sydney cleans the bar at Atlas when she finds the door unlocked and bartender Walt, bloody and barely alive. She calls 911 and stays by Walt’s side until he is taken to the hospital. She stays at the bar, cleaning up where she meets Clint, the owner and the President of the MC club. Both Sydney and Clint have not had an attraction, desire for a relationship for years, until they see each other for the first time. Clint cannot stay away from Sydney and her daughter Ava. Clint is honest on who he is, and Sydney despite the 15 year age gap, accepts who Clint is. This is a steamy, instalove, for the long haul relationship with a great epilogue.

What a fantastic start to the Bloomfield MC series!

When Sydney helps a wounded bartender Walt at the hotel she cleans, she crosses paths with Clint, the owner of the bar and the local MC president. Despite their age gap, their instant connection sparks a sweet, steamy, and fast-paced romance.

I absolutely loved the chemistry between Clint and Sydney. Clint is the perfect protective hero, and watching him fully embrace Sydney and her daughter, Ava, completely melted my heart. With engaging characters, great pacing, and a highly satisfying epilogue, this was such a fun and entertaining read!

Sydney is a single mom working as a cleaner in a local MC bar. Clint is the owner of the bar and the President of MC. I like how the author brought Sydney and Clint together and how neither was looking for a relationship. Once they meet, they are instantly attracted to each other. This is a small town, MC romance with a good storyline, steam, and a happily ever after. My only complaint is that the writing was a bit off from the author's previous books. My Grumpy Biker is book one and a good start to the Bloomfield: Motorcycle Club series. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I enjoy the chemistry between Clint and Sydney, as well as the way he embraces her and her daughter, Ava. The fast-paced story, engaging characters, and satisfying epilogue made this a fun, entertaining read.

What a great story, it is a slightly different take on the standard MC. We follow Sydney, who, when she walks into the bar where she cleans one evening and sees the bartender Walt, who is being severely abused, also sees Clint, the owner of the bar, who is also owned by the MC. There is instant chemistry and attraction between them, and things quickly get heated. Clint knows he has finally found the one and has no intention of letting her go. I enjoyed their journey and...

Sydney walks into the bar that she cleans on a regular basis and found the guy who bartends beaten. She never expected the owner Clint to show up. The chemistry between these two was instant and all fiery. This made for a really good read. Clint never expected to find his woman and one that would knock him off his feet. This was a different take on an MC read but it was good. This is a must read!!

There’s something off about this book. There wasn’t a single contraction in the entire book, even in dialogue. Therefore, there were sentences like this: “Do not you dare stop”. This seemed very fishy to me. There wasn’t also a certain amount of repetition. I’m not making accusations, but the writing felt very artificial. I’m going to leave it at that.

oddly written

I like Summer Rose’s books. I have read quite a few. Something seems a little different about this one. Some of the flow is not there. Sequencing is strange. The biggest issue was the odd use of contractions everywhere. Another review mentioned AI. I was thinking that also. I read the reviews mid way through the book. I was that frustrated. I hope that is not the case.

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Clint, Sydney and her daughter, Ava. The fast-paced story keeps us turning the pages with instant connection, acceptance and steam.

OK I really liked the story, but a really good editor is needed or maybe just really check the A.I. stuff yourself really well. The contractions are out of this world bad, they are not always needed and are off setting the story line when they're this bad. Story was good though.

I think you are going to like this start to a series. What starts as a destroyed bar becomes a love story. In between is a gang war, A five year old drawing at the kitchen table, and group of men who would go to the ends of the world for each other.

Choosing Each Other

She goes in to clean, finds a mess and Walt hurt behind the bar. She calls911 and starts cleaning. He comes in, she tells hi what she knows and he is so attracted to her. Awesome story, real feelings, club business and she chooses him. Perfect ending.

I like this story, but…

It was a good story but there were some odd moments. For instance the use of contractions in the wrong way. It was distracting from the story. I would have also liked a little more background on Sydney’s ex since he is mentioned by name.

HFN-living together.
