This is the first book I have read by Mel Rose but it won’t be my last! I loved every second of this book and read it in less than 24 hours.

Do you like Yellowstone? Molly and Cole gave me Rip and Beth vibes! They met when Cole was 8 and Molly was 6. Molly’s Grandpa takes Cole in and raises him. They quickly become best friends and their story begins. They had me feeling all the emotions!

*No Spoilers* This book is SO intoxicating I could not put it down! This Small Town, child hood friends to lovers, SLOW Burn, Dark Romance has so much build up && tension I was on the edge of my seat the WHOLE time. This is the second release of Mel Rose && I had the pleasure of being a minor early reader of this amazing story & couldn't be more proud of her! This book has a snarky FMC & burn the world for her MMC with these two navigating years of yearning & desire & doubt & love & hate & fear while the story line an plot mixes in a ranch life, abandonment, banter, && dark twists an secrets. It is the perfect length for a one sitting read where you can enjoy all it offers without feeling rushed through the story. There is boundaries crossed & lines blurred that lead to this delicious spice.. while the story line has some danger & thrill & mystery sprinkled perfectly through out. You also feel betrayal & revenge & gut-wrenching loss all packed into this standalone read. I loved this so much & a new 5 star read I absolutely recommend!!

I finished this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn't put it down. I loved how the story developed. I loved how Molly and Cole grew up and that Troy never treated him like anything other than family. The emotional roller coaster I felt while reading this. The anger, the anguish, the love, the hate, the spite. It had me going through it.

I truly love Mel's writing. It's captivating and keeps you hooked.

Can't wait for more.

She did it again! I absolutely loved this story! It was worth the wait and I read it in a day. Molly is a sassy, spicy FMC and I love it! Cole….a possessive MMC that will drive you crazy in the best way possible!
