Very useful drawing reference with a reasonable variety of poses. The book is organized around a handful of models of varying body types and each model will do a series of poses around a theme (fighting, injured etc.)

One drawback I've found is that the accompanying CD contains a few but not all of the poses in the paper book. So if you're playing with ideas for layout, etc, it can be frustrating to look through the images on CD (the interface is a little bit clunky), end up not finding the image and then have to scan it from the book.

But all in all, it's very useful. I have the men/boy and women/girls volumes as well and if there was ever an expanded issues with more poses I would buy it.

I would add another star but I can't draw well enough to use this yet!

Great book with a great cd with different poses. My husband uses this reference often in his artwork.

An awesome reference for artists looking to draw comics or pictures of people in dynamic poses.

Now this is a fantastic book but what i don't like is the way its laid out and how small the images are, but the fact they provide digital copies is fantastic. Not the best book in the world but it sure is helpful and not that bad!

Not only in the book but also a disc and website links for a number of poses without the expense of a live model. A must for every comic and live artist library.
