After spending twenty-four years as an Air Force wife, her husband retired, and she took this opportunity to pursue writing full-time. While she currently lives in Oklahoma City, she’s lived all over the US, a few years in the UK, and loves to travel.
An avid reader, she can still remember the first box set of sweet romance stories her mother bought her as a young teen—The Canadian West Series by Janette Oke. Reading about the rugged landscape of the west and handsome Canadian Mounties, Christina daydreamed about writing her own love stories.
Writing inspirational romance has always been Christina’s passion, and she loves to craft relatable characters with redemptive qualities that reflect the importance of her faith.
In 2021, her novel Best Seller took first place at WriterCon in Oklahoma City and in 2022, the same story was a finalist for the ACFW Genesis Contest. She’s also won several awards in Flash Fiction and garnered a publishing contract by winning the GetPubbed contest for Scrivenings Press.
Her literary hero is Jane Austen, and, like Jane, she hopes her own contemporary romances can sweep her readers away for a swoon-worthy, enjoyable experience.
When she isn’t spending time with her family or writing, you’ll find Christina chatting with friends over creamy cups of seasonal coffee or perusing antique shops for tattered books and hidden treasures.

I loved the plot and the characters. And, of course the very realistic Oklahoma setting. Well written, and definitely a good, easy read.

On a rebound from an accident and a broken relationship, Lononder Henry Allen Taylor seeks relief
by renting a bungalow in Oklahoma. Using a false identity, he's trying to prove his value to H&G as well as discover the connection between a box bearing his family crest, a Taylor ancestor, and Paisley Snyder, his landlady. The plot takes a sinister turn with the hunt for missing treasure on Paisley's property, which awakens an old feud between families, and Paisley is caught in the crosshairs. The characters are believable; the plot is filled with suspenseful twists and turns. Henry must find the opportunity to tell Paisley the truth about himself and his purpose for being there. The author's use of Oklahoma storms reflects the inner turmoil of the characters and the events of the story.

A country landscape in Oklahoma where headlines are usually made during tornado season becomes the center of intrigue driven by a centuries-old family crest.
A metal box unearthed during a flash flood in Oklahoma caught the attention of a colleague of Henry Allen Taylor - in London. He recognized the Taylor family crest, but knew nothing of the state of Oklahoma or how his family's heirloom had been buried in a remote corner of it.
A trip to the United States to find this treasure and the story behind it was the distraction - and a defining moment - he needed to move past a horrific accident and sudden breakup with his girlfriend.
Paisley Snyder, owner of The Book Shoppe, has few precious clues that are tucked inside the small box bearing a family crest. She had questions of her own powered by her love of mystery. Her newly opened VRBO and a stranger who found it online and booked a month-long stay in this foreign (to him) countryside bring these two together in their search to find the answers.

Book 3 in the H&G Mystery series did not disappoint! This time around Henry decides it is time for him to go into the field. Following leads for family treasure finds Henry in small town Oklahoma. Opting for deception, Henry finds that he regrets that decision almost immediately. Paisley, the town sweetheart, has turned Henry's world upside down! In Henry's own words,
"Fake dates, phony names, grumpy cowboys, and buried treasure. Oklahoma had turned out to be more interesting than he'd planned."
Will Henry's and Paisley's hearts come through unscathed or will this be one storm neither will be able to recover from?
Holy Moly! Author Christina Rost knows how to get your heart pounding! Romance, treasure hunting, tornadoes, oh my! I absolutely loved Henry and Paisley! I loved the setting of Oklahoma in the springtime! So far I think book 3 is my favorite. Even though I found myself thinking, OH HENRY! Don't do that! Or, TELL HER HENRY! I just loved Henry. His character is endearing and he truly is a romantic. Together Henry and Paisley just work and I was rooting for them the whole time I was reading. I highly recommend!

Silent Storm truly is reading the perfect storm of love and loss in the midst of Oklahoma’s tornado season (which has some of its seasonal humor Okies can appreciate;)). In this page turner, Rost has you pulling for characters and getting invested in the hunt of who Paisley ends up choosing to love in the end and the hunt of family gold, wondering how it all ties together just like a good mystery should. All the while you, too, gain wisdom from this small town’s Miss Della and the Providential truths tied throughout.
It’s good, clean fiction that teenagers & up can be edified from!
