The Karma brothers are back, and this time, things are getting even more dangerous! The Karma Study by Korey Willis takes us back into the aftermath of Seattle's criminal chaos, where Zoe has gone missing and the brothers are determined to bring her home.
What really caught my attention was how much is at stake for everyone involved. The brothers aren't just searching for Zoe. They're putting together a team to take on the Cambions while dealing with old enemies, unexpected betrayals, and the possibility that someone close to them might not be trustworthy.
I really liked the combination of family loyalty, danger, and complicated relationships. There's something about characters who are willing to risk everything for someone they love that always pulls me into a story. And when you throw in revenge, questionable alliances, and enemies who refuse to stay gone, things get even more interesting!
I also appreciated the conflict between vengeance and justice. The brothers have plenty of reasons to want revenge, but how far can they go before they become just as dangerous as the people they're fighting? That adds another layer to the storyline beyond simply rescuing Zoe.
If you enjoy suspenseful stories with family bonds, dangerous enemies, betrayal, and characters fighting for the people they love, this is definitely one to check out! With so many threats surrounding the Karma brothers, trusting the wrong person could cost them everything!

This book took everything I loved about the first one and somehow made the emotional damage even worse. The story continues the journey of the Sparrow and the Karma brothers, pushing them through pain, darkness, and circumstances that test just how much they can endure. There’s a strong focus on identity, resilience, and finding your way back to yourself when so much has been taken from you.
The emotional side hit hard. There’s physical and emotional violence, suffering, and moments that had me ugly crying and seriously questioning my decision to have feelings. 😂 But the hard-won moments make the payoff worth every tear.
The relationship between the Sparrow and the brothers continues to evolve in messy, intense, and compelling ways. The spice? 🔥 Still delivering. The tension and darker elements only add to the intensity.
Then comes that ending. Another cliffhanger, and somehow all it does is make me want more.

This book was also a really good book! I did feel like the beginning drug on just a bit but I'm not good with slow lol. Thid book once it gets going man you are hooked!!! The chapters close to the end were what got me though!! I was crying sad tears....happy tears!!! Then the last chapter is like wait holy crap!! Can't wait for book 3!! All in all it was a great book! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!!

This is a story full of heartbreak and the slow steps towards heeling.
First things first, Zoes dad can go to the furthest depths of hell, and it wouldn't be far enough. Learning of the things he put her men through and chose to put his own daughter through is more than traumatizingly heartbreaking.
Then there's an X. I have beliefs on who this POV is, but I'm generally curious if it'll be who I think it is.
We lost someone here, and that somehow made everything even worse. There was so much sunshine to be clouded in darkness. Whatever happens next, I'm ready for it.

I just knew heads were roll in this book and boy are they. All the men are beside themselves. Dean is trying to stay strong for everyone. Brandon is looking over every nook and cranny. Max is starting to show his deranged side. And my Teddy is starting an absolute 🩸 bath. All these men unraveled. And Zoe my girl had to just survive, poor girl was put through the wringer. A few new characters were introduced, one I don’t trust at all. I can’t put my finger on it but something ain’t right. This book was very emotional. We learned more about each person. My heart goes out to all of them but mostly Teddy and Zoe. I just really wanted to hug them. I did have some tears in my eyes at times. I love a book that can make me cry and then laugh two chapters later. I love Korey’s writing. We got left on another cliffhanger. I hope this is going to be the last one. I know the next book is about to have the business and I can’t wait.

It did not disappoint. It picked right up with the same intensity and twists.
I do not want to give too much away, so know that book 2 is just as good as book 1. Not as spicy, but that's ok it's all about Zoe and getting their girl home! Also, there is a to be continued that will have you guessing.
Totally recommend this series it is so good!

Twists on twists on twists.
After reading The Karma Project I thought that cliffhanger was twisty. This book threw me for a loop!
I thought I had things figured out, I thought I understood the boys. HA! Everything I thought I understood was wrong, I was so wrong.
This book is full of amazing action, terrifying descriptions, trigger warnings you should definitely read, grief, vulnerability, and so much love. It’s gory and heartbreakingly beautiful. It’s a study in karma for sure.

This picks up immediately where book one ends, and it does not give you a second to breathe. Everything is sharper and darker. There is more emotional damage, you can literally feel the pain and tension bleeding off the page.
Zoe goes through so much in this one. It is heavy and brutal but somehow she still comes out stronger. There's this resilience in her that feels different than book one. She's still battling everything thrown at her, but she is also choosing herself in a way that made me root for her.
The Karma brothers devotion runs even deeper. Their emotions hit harder and the protective moments are messy and vulnerable. I was obsessed with how each of them fights for Zoe in their own way.
Overall, this amped up all the feelings from book one, the suspense, the heartbreak, the tension and the stakes. It is darker, grittier and somehow even more addictive. I loved this read!

I hate this author and this book with my entire soul.
But I also LOVE hating it!
Korey Willis took my heart and put it through a blender. (I'm pretty sure she was doing an evil laugh the entire time)
The love, loss, pain, and healing really pulls at your emotions the entire book. This was the perfect follow up to book 1 and I know book 3 will be even better.
Seeing how the guys interacted with Zoe as individuals was true to each character. These guys really complete every facet of Zoe, mentally and physically.
The mysterious "X" is driving me crazy, I have two major theories but a million half baked insane theories. I love how Willis dropped so many breadcrumbs but each one makes you second guess the next.
If you love found family, healing, and just general awesomeness you will love this series!

I think this book is amazing and definitely can see myself recommending it to others to read, but I will say at times I would feel like the writing didn’t match all the violence and like the plot of the book! But overall I think it is a very good book and would reread!

This book was dark in the way that we learn more about the boys and Zoe's story with their "father". What those people went through at his hand before and after.. oh my.
This was an emotional rollercoaster that I could not get off.

This book was emotionally violent in the best possible way! Korey took everything I loved about the first book and somehow made it darker, hotter, more intense, and even more heartbreaking. Watching Zoe and the Karma brothers fight through their pain, grief, and suffering both separately and together completely wrecked me. The connection between them could be felt through every page, and I was hanging on to each emotional moment right along with them.
The tension was delicious, the darker moments hit hard, and the spice was absolutely spicing! This book had me crying, blushing, and questioning why I willingly put myself through this kind of emotional damage.
I loved The Karma Study so much and am ready for book 3!!!! Thank You, Korey for the opportunity to read this early!

I cannot believe this book.
The amount of twists and turns Korey played me with and the amount of information that was dumped on me. This book was a double read for me before I felt like I could give it a good review since I was so shocked at so many different points of this book. From asking who poeple are, where they came from. Theories and ideas that I ahve brewing based on this book to listening and learning more about my four favorite guys. Korey has truly made a world like no other with these books and I can’t wait for the story to continue. This book is a FLUID pick up at the end of book one, and if you are lucky, you can read them back to back and not have to wait 8 months like me…

Such a perfect part two to this series!!!! Korey, your writing is so beautiful and descriptive that it physically hurt me at times. The first book was a five stars and somehow this book was written even better! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!
Seeing each of the Karma Brothers and Zoe go through their pain, grief, and suffering separately but also together. Not together by physicality but together by an invisible string that has tied each of them together.
Teddy had been and always be my favorite but I think Brandon is lowkey growing on me. I can’t wait for part three 💕🥀🧸
